    Fighter's vfx is done by the same team of artists who did brahmastra so I was sure that it's not going to be bad ..The thing that surprises me in the movie is that the fact that sid anand showed the emotional dynamics among the group and didn't just go all for action . For those who don't know, DNEG did the effects and post processing of the movie. They are one of the best in business getting 7 academy awards for works in Inception, interstellar, Blade Runner 2047, Ex machina, First man, Dune and Tenet. Under tight budget they produced works like 2.0, Bramhastra and this, Fighter. If we somehow can secure Hollywood level fundings, they are more than capable of delivering that level of visual treats.

    • @heatblast876
      @heatblast876 7 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, with money. It's also depends on the production and visual studio. If the visual studio doesn't make the environment scene better or comparable, like to transformers or ready player one. Then it depends on the artists' and personal skills. But mostly, it depends on the visual studio. Since india doesn't have a better visual studio. That's the problem. Well, in the US, it has ILM (industrial light and music), MPC (Moving pictures company), and others. They had a fight over visual production and studio, which they have their own competitors. Well, in india, it doesn't have that.

    Siddarth Anand's expertise in showcasing Hrithik Roshan as a star is unparalleled. Every scene featuring Hrithik is a canvas of beauty. I'm not exaggerating; his eyes deliver a commendable performance, drawing audience innto their captivating depth. Forget Deepika; it felt like I shared a unique chemistry with Hrithik at a point . The film excels in action, chemistry, VFX, cinematography, massy dialogues, and emotional resonance-creating a pitch-perfect cinematic blend. Hrithik's standout performance in this commercial venture, especially in tense scenes with Anil Kapoor, deserves special recognition. The supporting cast also delivers admirably, and the background music serves as the soul of the movie. For the ultimate experience, it's a must-watch in IMAX 3D.

    Despite being a huge Hrithik fan I was about to give this movie a miss since I loved Top Gun and found many resemblances. However, would watch it after this review. And loved that you mentioned about Hrithik's eyes. No one in Indian Cinema emotes so beautifully with their eyes..be it sorrow, happiness, despair or pure joy..This is something he did so well in Super 30...

    This is the difference between Karan Johar produced movies and fighter like movies.
    Karan Johar movies are so average that he needs to spend so much in marketing that even his box office numbers are manipulated.
    On the other hand, movies like fighter, with few average songs and only 2 promotional events, won the hearts of the audience with the content of the movie. They had confidence in their material that they did not even focus about forceful marketing which Dharma does.

    One of the main things I liked was how the characters dealt with each other when they became emotional after some loss. One thinking about getting in an emotional revenge, while the other one stabilizing them, rather than throwing out over-the-top dialogues. This showed how a person should not be swayed by emotions in times of despair, and try to think straight.

    I have watched Fighter in 4DX.. It was a great movie. I was thoroughly enjoyed it. I was surprised to see Hrithik Roshan in this movie. His acting was phenomenal, he was looking amazing and handsome with an Air Force pilot uniform. His look reminds me of Lakshya. Deepika and Anil were flawless. Action was top notch and expectional, the visuals was stunning and the cinematography was beautiful. In fact, I have got two songs in the version of my theater. One is Bekaar Dil which played at the beginning of the movie and the other one is Ishq Jaisa Kuch which played at the end credits. It was good to see it on the big screen. Overall, a fantastic cinematic experience. The direction by Siddharth Anand have absolutely hit it out of the park!

    ***SPOILERS***
    Barring a couple, I loved the action set pieces, especially between Patty and Red Nose. We were shown how Patty is the best among them. But the real thrill comes when you have an equivalent one on the other side. Each one trying to override the other during the combat sequences, which was a breath of fresh air rather from the generic baddies we see in the opposite side.

  • @anuhatesupma
    @anuhatesupma 7 месяцев назад +10

    C'mon Jammy!!! It was not Siddharth Anand's best work. The plot was extremely predictable. The cringe bollywood coincidences of how Patty stumbled upon Minni's parents & how he magically landed right before the antagonist was about to kill sukhi and how odd it is that an air force personnel fight so gracefully in a hand to hand combat all of this makes it an absolute 2/5.

    • @TriedRefusedProductions
      @TriedRefusedProductions  7 месяцев назад +23

      the fate of HR meeting Deepika's parents is not convenient but its inevitable when you realise she's a Jammu local. It was foreshadowed. The climax portion of the 'jai hind' integrated action sequence is possibly the only 'mass' moment of the film. Sid can have some fun with giving his hero an entry, Cmon! Also, you underestimate the training the air force go through beyond being capable in their jets!

    Even I felt that the trailer did a disservice. Yet I went to watch the movie because I love planes. And boy this movie was worth every penny.
    Apart from that fact that I knew and could remember the events shown in the film and some sequences where they showcase the missiles and the flares. It gave me the top gun vibes. This movie set the standard for visuals at least at top gun level. I felt they really used IAF pilots for some sequences and stunts and the real airbases from the scenes.
    Also the scene where Hrithik helps a cadet land during crosswinds conditions, the detailing is so awesome.
    My sister didn’t like the movie. And I am like bhaad ja. Merko dekhna hai. IAF ki movie hai. Bade screen main hi dekhenge. Took my cousin and his mom. And their reaction for my movie suggestion was awesome. They loved this movie just like I did.

It’s a great mix of actual scenes of Fighter jets and VFX. It’s a very modern and stylish movie that gives you a Hollywood feel with Desi actors. It’s nothing like Top Gun at all so please don’t compare. I would even say this was much better than Pathan. Well done to Siddharth Anand, Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor and the supporting cast! Fighter was NOT good. We should not be hyping very mediocre projects.
    Aren't you guys getting super saturated with India v Pakistan storyline? I mean atleast pit us against someone equally matched, vo bichare udhar unke khane peene ke lale pade hue hai and you talking about wars, all this just plays into our dislike for Pakistan (not even actual patriotism). The storyline is very easy and predictable. You've got HR and Deepika at your disposal get something interesting, not this easy cash grab.
    This where movies like animal needs to be looked up at, however fucked up, derogatory the story is, the fact is that they took a risk and it paid off, people will remember it.
    No one's remembering a cash grab movie, even with srk, yeah great that you made your comeback with jawan and pathan but are people remembering that? No, people will remember love you zindagi, my name is khan, khnh, swades.
