I noticed that as well but Acura allowed it to be a test car so they had to notice as well...
So weird to watch these videos without Micah's particular music and music style in the background. Still happy to see Lyn. And Mike Danger. Oh and btw, don't we have scores of weird "coupe" SUVs now? The ZDX was definitely ahead of it's time.
What is wrong with the “z”? Why is it tilting?
We noticed the same thing! Not a great look, but it's an early build so things like that happen.
@@kbb One of the Engineer's kids probably ripped it off, and they super glued it back on, on the down low.....hehehe!

I did too! I had one as a loaner back in the day. To me still a looker when I see one around.
better way zdx is coupe 2row mdx style

OG ZDX had such an incredible interior!!
Nice looking wagon! I'm surprised it's as long as the MDX, looks shorter in pictures and video.
Love the black roof mixed with that gray lower cladding.
Love that the interior looks like a normal car. Has a centre console that connects to the dashboard and has physical climate controls.
These ultium platform EV's are probably my favourite.
What happens to the value of the vehicle 5-10-15 years down the road after Acura drops the Ultium platform and starts producing its own EV system? What will be the cost of service for this different platform in the future? Will the owners of this model have to eventually take their cars to be serviced by a GM dealership? It doesn't seem prudent to buy this year's model. Does this use CCS or the new NACS charging plug or will you have to buy an adapter to charge at Tesla charging stations? All EVs will go to the NACS system eventually.

that c pillar on the sides makes it look like the side of a hertz
i do like how acura 😮 drives so i’m d sure this is fun. what about the ground clearance? i assume it’s not like a subaru wilderness, imagine that fun to drive, an ev, fun looking, and can go off road??? in my dreams lol
The ZDX is back but gone in 2 years in its current form.
Even though I think that having a hybrid is the way to go, it is incredible that we live in a time with so many EV choices.

I'm not a fan of the 3 colors either. Either body color roof or remove the silver at the bottom
Acura should have kept the same ZDX shape from 2010 and bring the same design language back in the electric version. This just looks like another generic looking electric suv on the road with an Acura badging.
Forgot to add "Type-S" when describing most of the features?
I'm not too keen on those tires: 40 profiles are subject to failure on hitting potholes. And that roof? Hearse-like at the back. Thank goodness no "touchpad" in the infotainment system. I would wonder how it compares to the Caddy Lyric.

anyone else notice how crooked that Z was on the brand new ZDX chrome badge at the beginning of the video? That’s pretty embarrassing for a premium luxury vehicle - sure hope this is a pre production model
Lynn and Mike need to make videos together, and in the process describe how good a vehicle is for taller and shorter drivers. Then Micah can come in as the tie breaker.

As for the colour, the three colour sandwich - silver on the bottom, body colour and then the black roof is a very poor design choice. It looks terrible and disjointed.

I always wanted to own a hearse. Now I can. Driving into the sunset in BEV silence. This strip is horrible and can not be unseen.

Anybody else sick of all new cars being EV's or an SUV?
This isn’t a “ new car “ really this was allready an crossover suv before it was discontinued in 2013, and plenty of car companies still make sedans and compacts 😱
Gm product, priced out of most normal buyers price.. it is not an Acura!!!
The exterior styling is atrocious.
I know style is subjective, but I personally think it looks far better than 90% of the other EV's available. Looks like a normal car, with some nice boxy styling thrown in. Far better than the jelly-bean cut & paste EV's.
What about range. You spent entire video and did not mention range of the car unbelievable.
Ill wait until Honda makes their own.
