- Charged with murder in the shooting death of Ricky Cobb II during a traffic stop in 2023, Minnesota Trooper Ryan Lonregan appeared in court Monday morning as his defense team argued to Judge Tamara Garcia why they think criminal charges should be dismissed. FOX 9’s Paul Blume has the latest from a scene that was tense as supporters rallied for Londregan, and protestors countered with their own demands.

So sorry for this Trooper, his family, friends and co-workers. The trooper needs to be able to sue the family for raising a criminal.

I think Londregan acted appropriately based on the video footage. If Mary Mo really wants to prosecute, why did she hire the DC firm? A closer team from Milwaukee, Madison, or Chicago wasn't good enough? These are tax payer dollars paying for all of their flights, hotels, resources. Mary Mo needs to resign. This is a stupid waste of money.

The use of force was not justified the trooper made the decision to jump in the car they could have let him go an follow him or caught him at a difgetent time. He didn’t have to drive off if he wouldn’t have ran off he’d still be alive. Why blame the LE when the suspect chose to run off with trooper trying to stop him law breakers are NOT victims

Imagine being attacked and robbed then the police find the guy but he runs from them and they just snap there fingers and go "Oh darn we will get him next time" 😂
These comments worry me. Why don't any of you know about the fourth amendment? It means cops can't decide to enter your property because they feel like it. The defense attorney should be worried about that!
