Contested each May, the PGA Championship is the second major championship in golf’s annual rotation, and perennially features the strongest field in the men's game based on the Official World Golf Rankings. Known for dramatic finishes and notable champions, the Wanamaker Trophy-which has been awarded to the winner since 1916-is inscribed with names such as Brooks Koepka, Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Jack Nicklaus, and Gary Player.
The 2024 PGA Championship is set to take place between 13-19 May at Valhalla Golf Club. The reigning champion is Brooks Koepka.

Yeah he’s been playing very well this year too, just had a problem finishing on Sunday. So it was awesome to see him get it done. Bryson really put the heat on him though

I'm such a fan of Xander I had a feeling after last couple of tournaments he was going to be determined to win. I felt his confidence, resilience, perseverance in the previous weeks and just knew he going to give himself a chance so I haven't bet on golf in years but I put 100 on him to win before tournament started but aside from the money I'm just so happy for him well earned and deserved. It's a shame the gap of players from Liv and pga wish we could see them compete like this every week Bryson and Hovland made this so very exciting as well

Honestly love Xander, Bryson, and Viktor. I was just rooting for a great finish, and selfishly a playoff, because those are so fun in majors. But man, props to everyone. Such a great final round to watch!

Congrats X. One of the really good good quiet guys finally gets the monkey off his back. Those closing holes on 16, 17, and 18 were very major champion worthy. The chips, the adjustments on less than great lies, etc. Major champion worthy!!!

Xander has a beautiful, rhythmic golf swing, he is decently long off the tee, has amazing all round skills, he’s also a grinder with a great temperament for patience and adversity. He will surely go on to win multiple majors!
I truly hope that he doesn’t change his swing like so many of these pros do after capturing a major! The fact that he is the only golfer in history that has TWICE shot the lowest score in major championship golf (62) is indicative that he has all the tools for further success.
Really surprised that none of these so called golf journalists never asked him about his second shot on the 72 hole, which I believe for him is the shot of the tournament! Choking down on the grip, standing in the bunker with the ball outside the bunker and significantly above his feet, and producing a solid contact was a truly phenomenal shot, especially with the extreme pressure and moment!

I was pulling for Xander and do so every time he’s in the mix. My second choice was Bryson. If Xander lost to Bryson I would’ve been okay with the result, but really happy with the outcome.
Love how he said he had to hang up on his dad because he was making him too emotional. I’m sure the ogre will happily take a trip to Hawaii for every major going forward.
Ive only been following gold since the last masters and always rooted for this guy i duno he seems to come up short in tournaments but just looks like a nice dude. I was genuinely hoping he woukd win by round 3. And its cool to see him win
