Long chapters - SAME!!! I literally just finished Cleopatra & Frankenstein yesterday, I gave it 4.5 stars in the end and it lost the 0.5 because of the ridiculously long chapters. I am completely on the same page (excuse the pun 😂) with you about shorter chapters vs longer chapters. They feel so unnecessary.
I read a chapter yesterday that was AN HOUR LONG?! And it really threw me off cos it’s the one that suddenly changes to the first person when previously the whole book had been in third? 😅
@@JessElleKing yes!! That one was a seriously long chapter! And seemed to come out of nowhere. Honestly it is worth it though!
