HOW I USE THE 1P CHALLENGE TO SAVE £667.95 IN A YEAR | the easiest way to save money | jesselleking

I talk about the 1p challenge soo often on Instagram and always get questions about what it is and how to set it up so I thought I’d do a lil video to explain it all! Hopefully this is helpful for some of you who are looking to start saving money because it’s literally so easy!
A few things I forgot to mention in the video:
- The IFTTT setup specifically runs from 1st Jan - 31st Dec so if you set it up any later in the year, you’ll need to make a transfer of the missed amounts so that you reach the full balance.
- Obviously I have framed this all around saving money for Christmas as this is how I personally spend the money that I save using this method but if you don’t celebrate Christmas or are looking for ways to save for something else like a wedding or a holiday, this is still the perfect way to do it!

I've been doing this for a couple of years but have flipped it, so start with the £3.65 on the 1st Jan and then decrease as I usually spend more in December. Love this video!
