I’m really confused why people all of a sudden expected raid-themed sets. That has only ever been a thing in BFA and early SL when they cut tier sets and gave a raid themed armor set for each armor type. It was awful. Otherwise, the sets are basically never themed on the raid. This seems like some weird expectation for something we have never really had. There are overworld goblin sets, so the raid set doesn’t need to be thematic and generally they aren’t. Not sure where this expectation arose from.
I wish so much the elite pvp art wouldn't just be like flushing art down a drain. I almost never see any pvpers transmogging it and then it's removed. Also whoever had a green/copper-ish fetish in Dragon isles finally landed with the hues on that paladin tint.
Yeah, i don't see why you can get mythic variants later down the line (prestigious pve variant) but you can't get the elite sets when it becomes legacy content since it is the pvp equivalent.
I was fully expecting these to be more goblin themed/themed around the raid. Pleasantly surprised by how they went their own way, and really happy with how they look!
What kind of delusional world do you live in where you think the raid sets were EVER themed on the raid? That happened only in BFA and early SL and it fucking sucked.
@@Pyromancer w/e there is a nice way of talking WITH people, or attacking them with your believes. I for one feel the iconic items they brought from vanilla up until probly WoD was still uniquely themed to those raids. At some point they took tier sets away even and when they came back they just look the same as every other tier set. Goblinpunk/steampunk is probly some of my favorite and I feel this was a missed opportunity. Even as a player coming back to retail it all looks the same and you cannot tell which retail raid the items come from anymore and no one cares even cause they all the same, just an item with stats on that you will replace in 3-6months. Maby there are some weapons or cloaks that are more goblin themed or like people said the openworld items are goblin themed... but you don't have to attack your viewers if they don't like the same things you do.
all of the sets are really well done.. but for tier sets they really don't have any link to the raid theme unlike the outdoor sets that are absolutely crushing in terms of steampunk mech style
These are SO good. The monk one makes me think of more how FFXIV designs monk sets, than how WoW usually does... and I'm here for it. I love this style!! Everyone has a good set this time, it seems like!! Even hunters get a cool one, which is wild to me, lmao. The paladin set is dope, it's just not for everyone, so I get it...but I think it's pretty sweet. Paladins already have plenty of ornate stuff, let em have a gritty set. I still like my half-angel/half-devil set from Cata, after all! Gimme gritty pallies now and then! But I think compared to the rest...DK and Monk go the hardest, and Pally/Warr are the weakest two.
for the first time, I disagree with this statement. This is the first time I'm looking forward to a hunter set. The set I HATE this time around is warlock.
@Pyromancer because I need muh queen back. Seriously though, I haven't been following WoW since the end of SL. No idea what's been happening in the story.

Yep the Arathi Emperor is going to be God Emperor of 40k. I can see it now.
probably a subsaharan one. You know the tonic in american games...
Wow monks are looking amaaaaazzzing... and mages too!!!!
for real. Gonna have to play monk next patch lol
Id of thought that the sets would of been more of a steam punk/ Mechanical look due to where we are going.
The outdoor/world sets are that theme, which I like.
These sets surprised me. Not in a bad way, I just expected more "goblin" themed armours.
Interesting how alot of them seem death aligned...
@@tylermcnally8232 Yep I noticed that as well.
Is the raid going to be goblin themed?
@@ChinnuWoW Absolutely.
God I hope the tattoos on the monk set are the chestpiece(without the neck rope)
Mogging tattoos with a Shirt mog would be so peak

The Warlock shoulders is basically the new felhunter model they released in Dragonflight, it's so cool
antorus and shadowlands lookalike gear for a goblin raid? what expansion are we in again? I'm lost xD

Dam Pyro crashing out on his fans 😂
21:14 If the lighting is just for PvP I'm not surprised, the Leather PvP elite set also had more effects than the mythic vault set in DF.
The theme of this season really solidifies my headcanon of Gallywix being a dreadlord.
12:50 I'm gonna be real disappointed if the arathi emperor doesn't show up in Gold/black/red 40k Spacemarine Armor

I'm convinced the monk and mage sets are based on DBZ. They have the spikey hair and every color of Super Saiyan!
It would be cool to see a druid set with pant legs instead of robe skirt. they should add that variant/option to leather/clothies.
Definitely feels that the Tiers are inspired by the Hero specs a bit

Anyone know what kind of headset he has? I'm in the market for a wired headset and curious. Thanks!
Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro
is it me or does the warrior's tier helm just look like its missing something???? The helm dont look finished
cant wait to farm these out in Solo play in a couple expacs.
can't wait to raid mar-a-lago
It gives tribal/primal warlock
All nice for the most part except priest
yeah, Priest surprisingly eating shit after some insanely good sets.
I get major classic or TBC vibes from the warlock set, not emerald dream or nightmare.
With the help of AI I wonder if one day we could have sets that also change visually based on the race of the class.
AI is trash. Use real developers and artists.
@@Pyromancer You're not wrong but if they use AI they cant have an excuse as to why they wont do it.
The warrior hate is real
Rogue sets never flop
Hunters always seem to get the shaft with sets for the most part.

@@geekygengar5467 The warlock is good but not the best they have done with the warlock.
I feel like the mage and shaman sets should be swapped
They look too messy and bulky for my liking. I prefer cleaner looks.
Sylvanas return yet?
Why would Sylvanas come back for a goblin raid in a .1 patch and not for Midnight?
@Pyromancer because I need muh queen back.
