I think Elune is actually a demi-worldsoul and kin to Azeroth herself. Y'know, the literal moon? I think that's why we keep seeing so many parallels drawn to Azeroth.
Azeroth is only the name of the prison, the actual inmate is An'she, put there by titans that use the sun to power their machines and forge Naaru @ the crucible of creation. Pre sundering all Naaru "starships" that we know of actually originate from Azeroth. My guess is that Elune is an aspect/part of Mu'sha that was present at the crucible of creation(the shadow present at Azeroth's core in the titan disc quest animation) but istn't any longer, the idea that Elune and the titans conspired initially to both benefit from An'she's imprisonment within Azeroth takes more and more shape in my head at least. "You only have to repeat the same lie often enough to make it become the truth", no line fits the titans better.
My mind keeps going to what happens to the universe and Azeroth if and when all these spirits and beings are freed from the Titan's control. What is that gonna look like.
it seems like possibly the Titans may be the zerus realm version 1.0 order constructs? like the prototype eternal ones? could the naruu be the prototypes for the zerus models?
I don't think the Emerald Dream is the realm of life but a construct like the Sadowlands, and like death in the cosmos its a lot more comlicated. The Void Lords, the Titans, the Naru, something above Sargeras in the Fel is out there as heads of their realm. Elune and the Winter Queen are meant to both be that same level god entity in the higher "life" realm. Each of the realms before the Shadowlands was forged of the prime elements, and they coexisted, even interlocked. Freya is their Arcane linked sister in the Pantheon. Most things have multiple elements, astral star power is the adjacent Arcane power within the Life realm the same way the Winter Queen is the life adjacent death power. Might they have had sisters in all the elements... is Xal the Void sister? I feel like we have a lot to learn about the Voidlords to really know in the next x-pac. Even the Old God's are death adjacent Void gods. Xal might not be an Old God but maybe she is adjacent in void power in that way we might not expect.
Xal'atath is closer to the ethereals than to the old gods...she shares a lot of design with locus walker, she has nothing in common with the old gods. Might be a fallen naru or something close to void lords.
I’m trying, but it’s tough to follow a video that’s trying to articulate a complex story that’s laced every 20 seconds with “what the fuck”, “who the fuck”, “why the fuck”, “how do I fucking”, fuck fuck fuck. Maybe a class in public speaking or have someone not from the trailer park read the material? Or should that say “the fucking” trailer park?
This particular vid only asks the question about the Winter Queen's Cosmic Spirit. Zovaal, Denathrius, Primus, etc are not suggested to also be of Naaru origin.
I've been thinking this since shadowlands, but everything is ordered. EVERYTHING. Shadowlands was ORDERED countless eons ago. Our worlds existence is but a fraction, a blimp, of the time that's passed. The Titans ORDERED countless worlds. we live in an ordered universe. The void lords were trying to find AZEROTH, not random titans, in a sea of millions if not billions of worlds. Not out of jealousy, everything will become void in the long run. The void is the inevitability that will come to pass, and once everything is consumed it would naturally restart, with an explosion, (The Big Bang) the birth of everything. Which in itself is not orderly which is why the titans would want to stop it. ALSO the World Soul Saga, will be the biggest and most important lore in the history of warcraft, if they truly are trying to set up the NEXT 20 YEARS of the Warcraft universe to be told.
What if Elune & The Winter Queen are 2 halves of the same being. Titans order themselves to make themselves pure discard the ugly dark sides of themselves (Old Gods) Try to order Elune who resists and splits her soul in 2 the Winter Queen then flees to create ardenweald a mirror of elunes Emerald Dream. Meanwhile the Titans try to order Elune but can't due to her not being whole imprisoning her in a construct (Azeroths Moon) Where she blesses the elves while happy and content but can grant void powers due to emptiness inside her due to her missing Twin half
I would guess that Elune is similar to a Prime like Naru of Spirit. When I think of the Winter Queen's words of Sister. I think of sisterhood or referencing a similar like being. I do not want to see everyone thinking everything is a Naru now. I think differing of opinions around similar topics makes for better competition and theory telling, when NO ONE can say for sure until it happens. Alot of fun videos from many creators have come out lately. Keep up the great work all and have a good day!!!
I've always considered Elune something of her own self who helps Azeroth in her own way, not a child of Azeroth or Azeroth herself. Am I mistaken in the fact that the trolls consider her a loa first before whatever the night elves call her? Even the tauren call her a separate being from Azeroth, Naaru, and the Titans.
What if the Celestial Spirits in the Death Pantheon are those Archons from the concept for the cosmic forces? If they didn't get rid of the idea. The Titan's could have split them into other forces. Xe'ra could have been down, bound to lead the Naaru, others to the realm of Death & even other realms.
May I just add, i'm sure it's nothing but I might as well add it, I am Maltese, the Naaru at 0:51 named "V'eru" is quite similar to the word "Veru" in my language which means "True" or "Truth"
If Azeroth represents spirit and decay, as creation and distruction, the old gods might be titan twisted decay leftover azeroth gods and elune would be one of azeroths spirit gods. Lets say some of the titans got some of the few spirit power out of the old gods and elune simply made a deal with eonar and disappeared as trade-off that she doesn't become something like that.
Maybe Xal is another face of the moon, like, the dark side of the moon. And with Elune and the Winter queen, they form a triple goddess like Hecate (i dont know. Im just throwing ideas haha) but i cant forget how the eyes of Xal seem to be so similar to moon phases, also the numerous connections that tie Elune with the na'ruu, that also can connect them with xal (she calls them brothers that lost their way).
I'm so happy to hear that the two of you are working together - I absolutely despise the speculation-lore-b1tchfight-bubble, and I've always found it difficult to be so aligned with and enthusiastic about your speculations, while also disliking the condescendence that I sense in some of your more savage remarks on others' ideas. So this is to say - I can't wait for what the two of you are cooking, I have a feeling like I know where this is going, and I'm fcking THERE FOT IT
Well going on that whole "pantheon" chronicle is written by the Titans. It's their pov. Why would they call themselves the pantheon of "order" when they are swore to protect all of life? Suggesting that they might be the pantheon of life. What if the pantheon of life is gone? or Elune is the last of it? Would explain Elunes tear? I don't necessarily agree to the whole Elune being Azeroth. Unless you're going off the whole Cenarius thing because from a game stand point Cenarius and night elves look identical in the face. not to mention cenarius is half malorne and half Elune. Also don't forget about the First Ones.. they did order the forces.. supposedly after the clash of light and shadow.. there still isn't even enough info on them but they are above the titans. And don't forget the clockworker who made the universe which was an idea at one point.
What if the planes that have "pantheons" are the cosmic planes that the Titans structured and ordered? Some pantheon'd planes may fall during their charge, and Elune in Life Planes could be the remnants of a fallen Pantheon ordering.
@@NetherCrafterSMC - But Order is by its very nature heirarchical. It would have a structured system of authority in place. By that metric, I can see Chaos and Life being naturally without one, or reject ordered authority outright. So a pantheon wouldn't work, or failed to be implemented.
@@NetherCrafterSMC - Not quite. Chaos has no order, no authority, just like how a tree will grow a branch in any direction and way it likes. To have a pantheon is to have authority, Authority brings control, a mechanism that invokes order. To have a pantheon is to essentially submit to Order.
@playcasket1519 they may not have a "Pantheon" something constantly said to be something of Order but we know that ain't true.... but they definitely have gods and entities that rival the Titan's or else the whole universe would just fall a part.
Elune can't be azeroth imo. There are npc's in arden that state they where night warriors given power by elune and they did not come from azeroth unless they retcon that bit.
if the titans are the pantheon of life then im the god of death, becouse thay would have originated azeroth aka whipe out all life on azeroth if not for a band of heroes in ulduar
His videos are super great but his theories are not at all. He uses theories as a foundation for other theories. By the time it hits his 3rd theory. It’s just a dead topic. Even when he uses a quest as a base for a theory, even his basis is a theory about the quest rather than what the quest is about. Creating ice bergs out of speculation. Rather than a rabbit hole.
23:55 what if Elune was a Night Elf from a world long gone and influenced the night elves to look like her and her people and that's why the Kaldorei are her favored children XD
Xaxxas's Video blew me away! I knew you would flip at this Pyro! Xaxxas needs to write for Blizzard, his mind is brilliant! I love this!
Please god no 👀

Oooh I like all of this.
Where the Earthmother then?
Miss the days when Azeroth was just a name for the lands south of Khaz Modan
the average wow player has zero media literacy skills, which is why the amirdrassil cinematic was like… That
It's so fucking funny cause it's absolutely true
Blessing of Eternity is an offensive use of a defensive/utility power.
See also, Kzinti Lesson. Not intended use doesn't mean not useful.
what if the emerald dream IS the prison mechanism for elune.
I could see a pantheon for the 'structured' forces.
Remember there is a precedent for some kind of power given a human form in anveena being energy from the sunwell embodied into human form!

Elune is actually a cat and her name her Loonie.
Xalatath is the embodiment of entropy

So the arbiter that broke was an eternal one minus a cosmic essence? And was Zovaal a naaru cosmic essence/astral presence? Man what?

I still think WQ, Eonar, and Elune are the triple goddess and Xal is Elune's daughter, aka the Blue Child
I'm a simple man I see Pyromancer watching a Xaxxas video, I click.
The cosmic ones look like they literally tore apart Naaru and rebuilt them
No means NO! lol, great vid as always. The pantheon of death is way cooler than the "Titans" imo. The Winter Queen has been my fav since the release.

Pyro, did you actually name drop Unicron? If so, I dig it!

Isn't the Moon made mostly from Earth when the planet was forming, paralleling the idea of the Elune breaking off as a child of Azeroth
Yeah👍, not only is Elune a naaru, but the Winter Queen too now...
*in Xal'atath's voice* Oh, well...
"elune was the friends you made along the way. and coming together as a family."
who, the dragon aspects?
Maybe the moon is Elune's prison???
I would love to see the pantheons of each cosmic forces… shadowlands was the best expansion in terms of cosmic lore. A shame Danuser is gone

So titans not good, but there are exception because they are individuals.
Ye it would suck Elune being Azeroth, let it not.
I kinda think that Xal might be building a 5th old god, as she seems to have her minions collecting old god parts and blood.
if the titans are the pantheon of life then im the god of death, becouse thay would have originated azeroth aka whipe out all life on azeroth if not for a band of heroes in ulduar
why this dude so angry
Elune an aspect of Azeroth, sure. I can get with that but Azeroth herself? Nahh man.
Why do they call her Winter Queen? Her powers aren't cold
Sargeas = Anshe? :O
Ophidians
Is Xal'atath the Blue Child?
She’s purple tho
