  • So apparently the home of Luton Town - Kenilworth Road, is the worst Premier League stadium 🤔 On this journey of visiting EVERY PREMIER LEAGUE STADIUM we reach our final destination! Luton currently don't offer a Stadium Tour and getting matchday tickets of the Premier League underdog this season has proved quite difficult... So today we took an opportunity at exploring this wonderful old English football ground by visiting on the Women's FA National League Cup Final Day 🏆 We managed to get multiple views of the pitch and inside of the ground, as well as doing our usual 360 of the outside of the ground. Of course we have to buy at least one item from the club shop at every Premier League ground we visit and at the end of the video we reveal what we purchased from the Kenilworth Road club shop! 🏟️ Lot's more Stadium Tours coming up on the channel including Boro's Riverside Stadium, Barnsley's Oakwelll Stadium, Blackburn's Ewood Park and a tour at the world famous WREXHAM 🍻 SUBSCRIBE for more football ground tours, match day experiences and FOOTY NOSTALGIA 👍🏽

Some people don’t get it. We go to football for the football. We don’t go for the gourmet food or bowling alleys or any of the other crap. We’ve not chopped and changed our kits. We’ve done it less than most. When managers of clubs who play in front of 60,000 + every other week to warn their players about the hostile atmosphere at Kenilworth Road that says a lot about the dire quality of the modern football fan. The working/poor man’s game has become a middle class game. So many of us have been priced out. Luton have cheap shirts (£54) that cost half of what a glory hunter clubs shirt sells for. Our tickets are the second cheapest. We are treated as fans, not customers.

Great video, I’m a Luton fan and it’s good to see an open minded creator visit The Kenny. The Barnsley fan you spoke to is correct, we did spend roughly £10million but the club has been very adamant that they’re only investing into the stadium in things that’ll either be put in the new stadium or can hold value and be sold on. We’ve been a club riddled with financial struggles but the current owners are the best football owners imo. Great video, keep it up 👍🏼

The a505 (or Dunstable Road as that stretch you were on is called) the stand by the alley is known as the bobbers stand (the old exec boxes) known as the bobbers because it used to visit 1 bob to get in....and behind the main stand is the old railway line, now a busway

Lovely report Ry. You're right, I don't think any Luton fans have ever called the Kenny "The Old Girl" apart from our chairman in his programme notes. One little factoid for you: the Happy Harry mascot (we also have a Happy Harriette on match days) is a reference to Harry Haslam, a manager in the 70s, who was known for his consistently happy demeanour! (He needed to be!). And you're spot on about the atmos. The Old Girl (oops!) was really rocking on Saturday as we (hopefully) took our first step on another Great Escape! Do come back and visit us when we have the new stadium!

What the hell are these people talking about when they call this the worst premier league stadium?! It’s up there in the top three. They call Tottenham’s the best, but i think newer stadiums are soulless and boring (yes, Saint Mary’s is an exception but I’d still rather be at the Dell) because there’s no history at the London Stadium or King Power, and the atmosphere at these historic and quirky grounds, hidden in the romantically grotty depths of working-class English suburbs, is second to none.

@@markmay4954 At the end of the day we were quite a big club at a rather small stadium... the Dell held 15,000, which is just over the average for League Two these days. It was one of those that was tucked between the houses, while Fratton Park has plenty of open space behind some of its stands. St. Mary's is what the club needed but the Dell is what we all wish we could have back.
