So I did review the Galaxy Force version of this toy in 2017, my quick search to see if I had done so didn't do it's job very well. Fortunately I never reviewed THIS version of the toy, so consider this a refresh and ignore my intro!
This Starscream was an absolute menace in the show. I don't know if I'd say any other incarnation of ol' Screamer has managed to be that much of a consistent threat, even the ones who genuinely had their moments.
@zoltanperei4789 It would seem so, yes, but in the final episode, the Autobots find out he's still out there somewhere. And indeed, during the credits sequence we see a shot of Landmine and Mudflap facing off against Starscream in the Fire Dimension.
This is the mold I kicked off my channel with. Been looking for a review of this paint job. You’re the first encounter. I’m other news counting down to Metrocon!! Looking forward to seeing u and my first experience.
I ADORE this toy. I have this deco version and I honestly prefer it to his regular Cybertron colors. Cybertron is such a solid TF line, I'm proud to say it was my first.
We need an update of this version, skip the energon starscream cut right to a new cybertron one. While yes you can do the seeker trio but instead do some special repaints like the TRU exclusives as a repaint or a G2 colour repaint As for this figure it was a 2 pack with vector prime so at the time it was a good 2 and getting a cybertron starscream of whatever colour isn’t hard just watch out cause sometimes people don’t list it as the supreme class. a buddy of mine found that out the hard way granted he got it for a decent price complete and has grown to it but keep and eye out if hunting
I got this toy in i wanna say 2014 at gibralter flea market in michigan, i still have it, i was born in 2009, its in perfect condition! I have had a ton of transformers that have broken while this one has lasted, it just shows how well stuff was made back then compared to modern toys
I was curious on how that $20 scaled for inflation, and doing the calcs, Starscream cost $39.14 in today’s money. It’s crazy to think that for just $4 more, you’d get so much chonk and an intricate engineering feat to boot
I used to have this as a kid, easily one of my favourite toys I’m really pissed at myself for giving it and almost all of my other transformers toys away when I was like 12 or 13
When I reviewed Galaxy Meteor a while ago, one of the spring-loaded calf cover panels exploded on me because of the thin plastic with metal pins and springs impaled through each piece. Watch out for that happening to yours, TJ!
I'm not sure about the War Within influence on this design as I've never seen it before but I can say for sure that as I've gotten older I continue to notice and feel like Cybertron Starscream is a logical, perfect evolution to the Unicron Trilogy Starscream. He feels like he combined all the better aspects of his Armada and Energon versions for this personification.
Nice delivery! I usually display the original GF version as Screamer proper and this & the blue redecos as his armoured Tetrajet 'squadron' along with the Deluxe Thundercracker & his 2 redecos as the other Earth variant 'Seekers' from Galaxy Force/TF Cybertron. These designs should honestly be revisited (with the same sublime plastic quality accorded to the recent Speedia Nitro Convoy). 🤩
The fact that he has that gimmick and working shoulders is really impressive. The shoulders are really only hindered because of the bulk. I feel like if a modern figure were to try to engineer that same gimmick the shoulders would be locked in place for it to work. I will say the one down side of that gimmick is I don't think swords really make any sense as a weapon in vehicle mode. Maybe if they came out sideways as an extra set of wings but otherwise how's he suppose to make use of those in combat? Swords work a lot better in robot mode.

Hi! I’m the one you sold that Galaxy Force version to! He’s still in safe hands!
It is the year 2005, and Hasbro is willing to spend money on paint jobs.
can you tell this to hasbro vector prime.
This Starscream was an absolute menace in the show. I don't know if I'd say any other incarnation of ol' Screamer has managed to be that much of a consistent threat, even the ones who genuinely had their moments.
Not to mention he's one of the few Starscreams who _outlived_ his Mega/Galvatron.
@@SilverHairedFreak25He died with Soundwave and Sideways before Galvatron.

He's the only Starscream that could actually back up his shittalk
I might argue Cyberverse as well, he was the main villain for 2 arcs of that show.
I have the “Ultra Titan” size version of this figure in G1 colors. It’s HUGE.
All to match the size of Primus given they fought.
The GI Joe X transformers soundwave was revealed earlier today
One of my favorite repaints. Glad I own this baddie
The only Starscream who has a legit claim to being part of the Big Bad Ensemble while Megatron is still active.

I still have mine from my childhood, always loved this design and I'm glad I never got rid of it!
Star ream, I like him
I still would buy a Ramjet version of this toy to go with Universe Dirge and this specific version standing in as Thrust
I thought TJ already reviewed Cybertron Starscream back in the day?

Redwing before redwing was a thing

Local Florida Man Admits Cybertron Starscream Has "Flaws"!! Lol

The value of the dollar decreased, but the value of petroleum increased. The market is cruel in that way.
Betweeen this and Armada Starscream really makes me want some serious non G1 Redesigns to the characters.
Back when Hasbro actually painted their toys
I love this version of Starscream!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
i lost my cyber key😭😭😭😭😭

I wonder how the upcoming voyager Cybetron Starscream in Legacy will scale to the old one
2005 Transformers Toys really are peak. even the addict quality toys are still absolute blasts.
It came in a 2 pack with Vector Prime

Your collection is epic.

This kinda looks like he got his armada body back

Man, I so wanted that version of him back in the day.
but can it sing and dance?
seen the whole video, it does not :(
Very enjoyable video
Ah yes
The proto tetrajet
The tetra jet originated in literally the very first episode of the G1 cartoon, this design and figure was made in 2005...
@@tracytron7162 meant in terms of toy design, and considering his similar enough to the Titanium one
@@jazzy_Da_Garde_Kat Wouldn't the titanium one be the proto-tetrajet then in that case?
