It is remarkable how many orchestras use the Concertgebouw for their performances and that this channel captures them. This is a delight. I love Hannes. How amazing it would be to live in Amsterdam and be able to visit this august hall for performances like this. We are so blessed to have access through these amazing videos. Thank you all!
Outstanding, as always; an impeccable performance from Hannes Minnaar and the South-Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Kevin John Edusei.
Fine performance of a beautiful concerto. As always with Concertgebouw performances, the impeccable audio does justice to the great musicianship.
In the Concertgebouw, but the orchestra was the South Netherland Philharmonic.
This performance has been my refuge during the COVID-19 lockdown. Glorious.
❤️❤️❤️
An excellent performance, Thank you...

Thank you very much @Ath Samaras :)))
@@taki_val My pleasure dear friend...
An excellent performance of my favourite piano concerto by Mozart. I had never heard of Hannes Minnaar before - I will certainly follow his career.
What a wonderful performance by this young man - Mozart would have been proud of this superb performance...
Beautifully read, and beautifully played :-)
I love this K. 482 version. Mr. Minnaar takes a smooth texture....and the orquestra follow him with great Mozartian flavor. Bravo AVROTROS!
totally agree…daily streaming recently
Nada para agregar , sólo para escuchar , bellísimo muchas gracias .
It's rm fav.
BTS army present
I thought the conductor was Dave Chappelle.
W-A -M- forever!
Simplemente bello...
Well, that last movement was a breath of fresh air! OK K482 is always interpreted differently by everyone who plays it, but the cadenza was really very entertaining, especially including the Figaro last act aria as it did. It's nice to hear young musicians giving us new takes on things we thought we knew backwards.
a lovely performance from orchestra. But...i really never understand why changing so much the partiture.
Simply superb.....Bravo to pianist , conductor and orchrestra.
Love this rendition, especially the slow movement. Thank you! :-)))
His graceful flowing left hand movements, along with his swaying, enhance my enjoyment of the andante.
Remarkable - his expression remains relaxed throughout: so many star performers grimace or seem to be singing along. A wonderful performance all round - I keep coming back to it time after time. Thank you Avrotros.
The allegro is by far my most loved piece of music. I can't say why, perhaps the call and response? It is so beautiful and so well executed here.
Вчера по радио услышал.... ruclips.net/video/OwUss5YHnMI/видео.html
The cadence is very interesting (in the first part) and quite beautiful, with the winds, as well as unusual. By whom is it?
It's certainly audacious the way he brings in wind instruments to accompany him. I don't know any traditional cadenzas that do that. My guess is that it's Hannes Minnaar's own cadenza.
Another brilliant performance by Royal Concertgebouw !! Thanks for Uproad !
Very nice performance. The more I hear Mozart played on Steinways the more convinced I am that they fail miserably to equal the sound of a good forte piano for which the music was written.
I like the tempo it is not to fast or too slow. Good performance from both orchestra and pianist. Sound engineer has also done a good job.
The light and airy notes, flowing from the keyboard, belie the superb musicianship of a virtuoso performance by a magnificent pianist. Everything about this performance, from the director, the orchestra, and the talented pianist, were amazingly professional, in every aspect, from the very first notes, to the conclusion.
Herr Mozart is smiling at this performance of his genius. Bravo, Maestro! Bravo!
Beautiful and clear voices. Appreciated the contrast between the female voices with different timbre, beautiful to follow the alternate melodies....
I rate this a 40/10😉

Love the last movement. Mozart gives us a gift of pure joy
A magnificent performance! Out of respectect for your artists and the overseas audience, you might consider rolling the credits a little more slowly, as we are not all familiar with this wonderful, talented group.
Oh, of course the warm sound is unique to this wonderful world famous orchestra. Love the sound.
Qué bellezaaa por favor!!! Gracias por la recomendación!!!!
Never heard of this…Mozart guy. Must be new….
Beautiful Mozart concerto, Enjoy
Magnífica ejecución.
He's a child! Plays well.
What do you mean by 'He's a child"?
Under 30?
This 'child' is 33.
A child ? ... you are a Snob!
Minnaar minou Mozart, vai fazer arranjo com qualquer porcaria.
Magnifique ! Merci !
The orchestra is very good!
Exquisite, sheer magic...
... bound in the spell of the Andante
... plumbing the depths of beauteous sadness with strong mind and firm resolution
Great pianistry!
🎹 The pianist seems to be performing Chopin, not Mozart ! Also in the slow part of the third movement, The pianist and the conductor simplified their work . This is one of the hardest and most beautiful parts of this piano concerto that many famous pianists can't perform well . Not bad . The orchestra performed better than the pianist 🎹 27:05 - 27:54 🎹👎

This is one of my favorites Mozart's piano concertos. Although it always depends upon the quality of the recording, I think that the way of playing the piano must have a special brio, funny lightness and strong dramatic expression, at the same time, with the perfect balance of softness and "forte" dialogue with the orchestra, this version I think it has it.
There used to be here in RUclips a magnificent version which by disgrace its not anymore. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the performers, but it was unique. I just remember it was played with instruments of Mozart's time and that the pianist was superb and he was also the conductor. Does anybody know that version and where could I get it? I recognized some members of the Zefiro Ensamble performing among the members of the orchestra, as well. Thank you.
🎹 Best performances of Mozart's piano works (With Original Instruments) are from these artists : Ronald Brautigam - Viviana Sofronitsky - Robert Levin 🎹
It would be nice the name of the concert hall could be seen somewhere
google Concertgebouw Amsterdam Netherlands
THANK YOU , Donald
Beautifully played, but he needs to get in better shape physically. His body language is showing the stress of performing, at far too young an age.
Pointless
@@garrethrobertson6466 What, getting in better shape?
His body language shows self-assurance which is confirmed by the excellence of his performance.
@@gavinwilshaw2312 Didn't say anything about his self-assurance.
What a horrible comment.
The pianist and orchestra are superb.
great playing, but wish there were some credit given to the cadenza writers. First mvmt is by zacharias, and so I doubt the third mvmt cadenza is the performer's own either
Thank you, Lyndon Ji, for answering the question I was going to pose to the "floor" here. I thought the first cadenza was extraordinarily wonderful. Mozart's original is fine, of course, but this was like a blast of new, fresh air, with its concertante surprises.
3rd mvmt is by Paul Badura-Skoda I think
Why don't the ladies get the matching neckties, too? That's trash and made me unable to concentrate on this. Except I want to talk about this genius move to include orchestra instruments in the cadenza, even if it's not the world's most amazing cadenza ever. But let's start with neckties for ladies, OK?
Kan dit niet geweldig vinden
