@RayS2able I didn't mean you specifically. Most every Republican listens to biased news from stations that are more like influencers than reporters of fact. I am not saying that isn't true of the left. Overall, people need to be willing to find neutral sources instead of stations who are only going to tell them what they want to hear. The influencers on FB posting memes with misinformation...it is out of control and the more informed we are, the more we can change it. Also there are websites who aren't open about who is funding them, that they are conservative for example, such as a fact checking site. I feel we need to make govt. work for us again. So many of them are in it to make as much money as possible passing legislation for Lobbyists even though it may not be good for us or the planet. I am never going to stop being hopeful because I think most Americans are good people and none of this would matter if we met in person.

The way she described how she asked the question on the debate stage in this interview is untrue. She did go after him. And then he went after her. I was disgusted by her performance that night, and I wasn't a Trump supporter! She lost me then and there. But Trump absolutely did go after her afterwords. That she can put that aside and look at him with really quite fair eyes brings back a certain amount of respect for her that I thought I had lost after her debate performance.
Megan has taken her 3 children out of Private school in New York and leaving the state. That alone says it all about what's happening!
While she did not cover “systemic racism” in her interview. this is the reality of black attack on the First Amendment.
It goes much deeper than Americans as a whole recognize.
In the First Assembly at Jamestowne on June 30, 1619 the survivors of “the starving time” met in the little wooden church and VOTED to create an Assembly “for the guidance and peaceful government of the inhabitants of the settled areas.” My ancestor was one, along with the other bound boys, craftsmen, doctors, soldiers, sailors and free men who joined the surviving Gentlemen Adventurers with a dream of freedom.
This was the First Assembly, which met again in July to pass laws governing relations with the Indians and against drunkenness and idleness.
In August a slave ship arrived with a cargo of African slaves and the colonists traded goods for 20 slaves. This, according to the NYT 1619 Project is the true birth of the country and a stain on our birth.
Today this is the elephant in the room, while Black Lives Matter now assumes a power to negotiate with an incoming President. Meghan Kelly will be an eloquent voice for freedom. I am sure she will ensure she speaks for whites as well as those of other racial and ethnic backgrounds.

I really love this interviewer. The interviews are never about him or the gotcha moment, it’s all about the interviewee and exploring their ideas in a way that is genuinely curious and interested. The only problem is that it’s SO not about him that I always forget his name. But overall, so refreshing!
And it’s not a “hurry up for the ads” interview. The interviews on Network TV are unwatchable.

@Hilary I quite agree. You made me realize that I really liked Kelly in this interview, not having heard her before. But I now realize it wasn't JUST because of her, but the interviewer as well. And now I too am unable to recall his name. I thought I'd listen for a couple of minutes and move on...and then suddenly, it was over. Quite remarkable.

It eventually led to her being 'invited' to leave Fox news because her ratings had tanked to an unsustainable low. Moving over to NBC didn't help matters........her continued sneering about Trump resulted in her ratings there also tanking to the point where she had to quit. Thankfully she knows where her bread is buttered and seems to have rebounded back to being at least moderate/principled. Good for her!

@Melinda Shriver *Remember the US Liberty!!* I’m a fan of Israel too until I found out about them attacking and killing Americans during the six day war!! The truth tho is there was reports from inside Israel back then reporting THEY KNEW it was an American ship before attacking and yet America settled with them to wipe the whole mess under the rug and make it go away. The US sent them a $45 million dollar bill for the ship they damaged and the 34 deaths and 174 other injured crew members to start a fund for their families and to help the soldiers out. Israel countered with a measly $5 million and as usual the US sold out it’s citizens for its interests!! The proof has made its way out of Israel in the form of audio recordings awhile back and sure enough they knew. The pilots even showed surprise and reiterated that is was a US ship which they again gave the okay to attack so there was absolutely no misunderstanding at all like Israel presented it 45 minutes later and for the next 45 years!!

Hate speech should be allowed? I have never heard that before, but it does make sense. Thank you Megyn Kelly. If we legislated against everything we didn't like and didn't want to hear then that would be the end of free speech. She said there was no show like the Kelley File and therefore she did not watch cable news after she left Fox news. Obviously, she didn't like The O'Reilly Factor. So, in reality she was tooting her own horn.

I love the way she continues to be genuine, despite being treated unfairly. She is one of the few journalists who understands the difference between “uniting” and “surrendering”.
Next to Kayleigh McEnany, Megan Kelly is my "man." She has remained true to the spirit of journalism and I deeply admire her for that.

The Handmaids Tale is real and happening right now. In the middle east. In most Islamic countries women barely have any rights. Its funny the author just projected Islamic culture onto Christianity.

Politicians polarize neutral folks towards their agenda as this is the only way to attract new voters. This is why society is like a "bowl" of sparking charges. Agenda, I think, ought to be set by people, voting on issues' priority and not by politicians.

Her relationship to politics is way healthier than the dogmatic way most people tend to be. Instead of choosing team good or team bad she's open as she goes, ready to get persuaded or admit that she was previously wrong. Wish more people could be like that.

I read an article in the nytimes about hypothyroidism. The article pointed out that it's probably not worthwhile to treat hypothyroid patients because if they receive medication they will loose weight but their hunger will increase anyway so after "balancing" everything treatment is futile. Well I can say that I really appreciate my medication and having an appetite allows me to injest more nutrients besides calories. That struck me as their strategy for presenting most issues their idea of balance is just averaging everything away so that the problem seems to disappear and the do nothing approach is their answer to everything.
