- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sits down for an exclusive one-on-one interview with Douglas Murray on TalkTV to reveal that Israel will go it alone, if needs be, in order to secure its future.
Speaking to TalkTV for an exclusive half-hour interview, the Israeli Prime Minister says: “Look, you know this statement, ‘A man's got to do, what a man's gotta do?’ Remember the days when you can actually say that? Well, today you say ‘A person has to do, what a person has to do, okay’. Well, let me extend that, ‘A nation has to do what it has to do to survive’.
“And if we have to take action both in the South and in the North, that is understood by many to be a just action… but [if] they cannot stand the heat of public opinion, then we'll just have to do it alone. We will do what we need to do.”
Prime Minister Netanyahu told Douglas Murray that the October 7th attack on Israel, was "the worst savagery perpetrated against Jewish people since the Holocaust", and that he thought there was little difference between what Hamas 'savages' did compared to Hitler' Nazis.
The Prime Minister also gave his view of what would happen in Gaza once Hamas were defeated, saying demilitarisation in the area could only be handled by Israeli forces. And he opened up about the possibility of fighting in the north and the south, talking about the threat of Hezbollah and Iran.
He went on to say that beating Hamas would “take some time” but that the conflict was wider than just Israel, warning the West: “If Barbarism wins here, Europe will be next, America will be next.”
Netanyahu also branded freeing half of the Israeli hostages as a “major achievement” - despite criticism from some quarters - and explained he didn’t care what his legacy was as long as Israel prospered.

At a very young age I had feelings I couldn't explain: I constantly had strong feelings for Jewish people and Israël. Even when some Jewish people did hurt my feelings I could take it without getting angry and I can assure you that's not the case with al the other people. I feel like a great respect for them and I don't where it is coming from. That is also why I so regret I will not live long enough to see Israël finaly in peace without any attacks or the need for self defense. Even if ,or worse ,even after this interview. I'm so sad knowing that so many blood, so many young boys and girls will loose their life before this happens. I want to shout to the world: leave the Jewish people in peace! They are not violent, they are civilised and make since centuries our world so much ritcher, smarter. Leave them be what they are: men and women I admire and love, not knowing where this is coming from.

An interview of any world leader can be aggressive, or it can be polite and cordial. Murray chose the latter. That's his style, but he's certainly not a push-over. He could have been hard and aggressive if he wanted to be, but he elected to conduct the interview respectfully. By doing so, he got some good answers out of Netanyahu without going for the throat. Netanyahu, for his part is very smart, and very experienced. He could have easily handled any question thrown at him, by any interviewer, in any style. Now that Murray has broken the ice with Bibi, and established a relationship, maybe next time he will press harder, and maybe Bibi will let him. All in all, this was a good interview.

I hate to admit that is part of the reason I am refusing to move into the U.S. when that would be risking that my adult children and other young relatives then might then follow suit while in the U.S. there would be mandatory military service later for my grandchildren and any other young relatives then too. I am grateful to Americans however at the same time I disagree with mandatory military service for young people. Another thing I disagree with is people showing up in grade schools to push the idea to students there that signing up with the military some day is only one way to become regarded as being heroic while getting to use electronic gadgets at the same time. No matter what ideology and organization those people are from while they are showing up in public schools to sell a military career to grade school students. That was starting to happen here in Canada too right after 9/11.

The fact that UNWRA has a whopping 13,000 employees in Gaza really makes you wonder, doesn't it? Why do they need such a huge team for just aid work? It almost looks like they're stepping into roles that should be Hamas' job, like running the place.
It’s THIS huge presence of UNWRA that enables Hamas to forgo its governance responsibilities to focus on building 500 km of tunnels and rockets, instead of taking care of their people. It’s so big, its bigger than the NYC subway system.
So the big question: why is UNWRA governing Gaza. That’s a job for an elected government. They weren’t elected.
UNWRA should be making sure HAMAS governs, not governing for Hamas. Without UNWRA taking care of the governance of Gaza, Hamas could never have built these tunnels and rockets. They wouldn't have the time, nor the resources.
It’s only because UNWRA assumed all of the governance in Gaza, that Hamas was able to terrorize Israel for 16 years.

As an Israeli and as a middle right stance. I voted for Bibi once he was what we needed. Although I agree with everything Bibi said in this interview. His integrity has already been shattered. He broke the trust of so many Israelis in so many ways. But during this period of war I support him and the government. Not because I like or trust him! But because instability in our government during war, will only bring our demise! I hope Bibi takes this opportunity to redeem himself in front of God even if he can’t do so with his people. We will see if he is being truthful about what he said in this interview. We will see how modest he is and we will see if he truly doesn’t care what people think of him. Besides having its unique issues, there is a fundamental political divide in Israel, similar to other western states, between the liberal and progressive globalists elites and the traditional conservatives who are more routed to religion and nation. Well, in Israel the main problems regarding him are, in most people’s eyes:
1. Him being actively accused for accepting presents and the like from other countries.
2. The events of October the 7th, and the political drama in Israel (regarding new laws) happened under his leadership.
3. Much smaller than the other two, but it’s mainly the fact that he was prime minister was too long. Enough is enough, and even before this some people felt like it was high time he stepped down. Ofc, this also means that on the flip side, other people supported him a lot (though now, a lot of people stopped because of the second point I mentioned before)
Criticism?? He presided over the worst attack Israel has ever seen but has was elected on the basis of putting Israel security above anything else. He was more interested in increasing his political power and making more settlements in West Bank which resulted in IDF soldiers leaving the south to the West Bank. Might go down as one of the worst PMs in Israel history.
