Hey John - the LDARC GT7 has been upgraded to V2! The new version has 1102 12800 KV motors! It has a lot more power now. You can buy just the motors from Grayson Hobby etc to upgrade your existing V1. I'd be curious what you think after the upgrade - for me, it was a huge difference. Also - I would highly discourage flying the 2S brushless whoops on 1S - basically ever, even indoors. Instead, setup a throttle cut on your radio - Oscar Liang has a great tutorial on how to do this with a slider/knob/dial on your radio to make the throttle cut adjustable! I fly my Trashcan indoors on a 50% to 75% throttle cut or so, on 2S, and it flies WAY better this way than it does on 1S - because you can still get the full speed of the motors for maneuvering, which greatly increases it's handling! When you run it on 1S you lose all that handling!
Your videos are very helpful! Thank you! ... i have a tinyhawk 2 (and race) and a mobula6 ... i find them all a little too fast for inside the house at my current skill level ... maybe i need a brushed model. What do you think is the easiest (slowest?) - and controllable - indoor quad?
The Eachine QX65 brushed quad is the easiest quad to fly FPV the link is here ruclips.net/video/96eC6sSP2zk/видео.html But you may add a throttle cut of 60% in beta flight to slow the quad down and give you more control on the throttle. Practice outdoors or in a big space also helps.
Although not on your list anymore, I just ordered a Kingkong-Ldarc Tiny8x (FrySky) with a Jumper T-Lite. That 85mm frame with brushed motors look like just the bumper-cart I need 😁 I hear the Tiny8 is kinda loud? Thanks for sharing your findings.
Two great picks for getting started. There is nothing wrong with the Tiny8x with brushed motors and it should take a lot of crashes and is big enough to find outdoors. I also just bought the jumper T- Lite and it is also a good radio for the price. I will try to do a review on it next week. What did you end up for goggles.
@@jmoore3854 The jury is still out on that one... I still own a pair of EV800D's, but I need double spacers to see anything. Almost bought an EV100, glad I didn't. John Moore thanks for the reply! I’m probably going to fly it slower since I’m still relatively new to the hobby. Will the 8500s give slightly longer flight times?

That is a good starter quad. Albert Kim just released a good video on that as a starter along with the BetaFPV LiteRadio2 and BetaFPV VR01 Goggles. You could keep it with all BetaFPV products and get the BetaFPV HX100 toothpick. With a larger 520mah battery you will get similar flight times.

Wow... I rarely say this but... wow. Great work.
It's only been 6 months but I think you can add like 80 more micros to your list to compare lol
I am working on a comparison of 5 toothpicks and 5 twigs just waiting for the slow boat from china to deliver 3 of the quads.
@@jmoore3854 nice!! Looking forward to it! Let me know if you want to collaborate and share some data. Maybe we can do a series on HD whoops or something. Trying to get buy every model can get expensive.

@@jmoore3854 cool, thank you
I got it a day early my Mobula 6 has a dry wt. of 19.8g AUW of 27.7g thrust of 88g and power to weight ratio of 3.2. My BetaFPV Meteor has a P/W of 3.1. Need to get some speed lap times on it and range test then I will update the spreadsheet in the description and do a stand alone video on the Mobula 6.....

Thanks!
Great review my friend 👍😀
Thanks from Russia.
Great job !
Great video
amazing vid
your videos have really helped me over the past months since i have been
watching. I have been looking to get into fpv for awhile. but the flight
time has always been a turn off but seeing the tinyhawk II Race can get
about 5mins makes it tempting for me.. tinyhawk race? i am really not
trying to spend tons of $ just something cheap that will work? that has the best flight time for the buck?
That is a good starter quad. Albert Kim just released a good video on that as a starter along with the BetaFPV LiteRadio2 and BetaFPV VR01 Goggles. You could keep it with all BetaFPV products and get the BetaFPV HX100 toothpick. With a larger 520mah battery you will get similar flight times.
yes i seen, i have already ordered the the vr01 and the lite radio a few days ago., i think i might go with the tinyhawk 2 instead of the race. i think the race might be to powerful for my backyard?? i have tons of big trees in my backyard, my backyard is pretty much woods so the race might be to fast and easier to tear up?
Nice work! 👍👍
This is a great video!
Sooo many whoops!!!!
👍😀👍
Thx for sharing! Subbed
Good Work.., thx!
Drone giveaway please
The Power/wt of the M80 is 1,8 and not 1,3 (99,3
/ 55,3 = 1,8).
brushed whoops ? Blasphemi ! how I got here ?
When the Whoop you use for the intro has a broken frame in the camera's FOV
ah, hmm, and ah... basically unbearable to listen to you sadly this could be a good video
captions and mute, still loads of good info
