Roller bearing fatigue damage accumulation

This video shows you everything you need to know about roller bearing fatigue! You learn what influences the roller bearing service life time, how the fatigue mechanism is working and how the service life time of roller bearings can be calculated.
Using the roller bearing service life equation, it is shown how operation with a single load or with a load spectrum results to damage accumulation and how the available remaining service life of a roller bearing can be calculated using the Palmgren Miner Rule.
The explanations are based on Schaefflers "Wälzlagerpraxis", ISBN 978-3-7830-0401-4, the Schaeffler Roller Bearing Catalogue (2018) as well as machine element lectures from Technical University Clausthal and ETH Zurich.
