At some point of the interview i felt BR constantly tried to give an impression about Raja sir that he is very strict and restricts singers to try something on their own. But Sid was wonderfully humble in breaking that kinda of an aspect and made sure he thoroughly enjoyed and felt blessed to sing a song under raja sir's composition. I just felt so

The combination of Mr. Sid Sri Ram with the Maestro is “Awesome”. Another song of this combination for the same movie “Neenga Mudiyuma” is also equally Amazing. The arrangement of Violins for the said song are entirely different, which flows from the beginning to the end. It kills our pain........ When I fell in love with this song, I was imagining how they would've first met, spoke etc. My guess that he would've sung a Carnatic Composition in front of Raja Sir turns out to be true, as well.
@ 1:27 He cites Ragam Subhapantuvarali, it's a Ragam that's known to make one sad or cry. It kind of explains, why Raja may've wanted him to sing that, to audition for "Unna Nenachu"

I use to wonder why this tamil music directors wants to waste time with these type of new male singers. And some of them cant even speak or pronouce tamil language properly. Come on SPB, KJ Jesudass & P Jayachandran still healthy and living in this world. Please to all music directors - Do not KILL Tamil Lauguage by asking this type of CLOWNS to sing.

End of the day the song you sing should have LIFE in it. It was there in this song. Spb kjy and all gods. Don't compare Sid sriram with them. His pronunciation is way too good than many other new age singers due to his Carnatic background. He was born and bought up there so he cannot speak Tamil fluently but check one of his interviews he attempted to speak which was ok. But if he speaks Tamil always in American accent, it would be maga mattam.
