A small piece of art, a jewel, all so beautiful hand crafted that it hurts.
How can one cover so straight, without any wrinkle is beyond me. And it’s so great to see the wood construction from underneath.
I hope it makes the runway though, it deserves to once in its life experience what it was designed for, the feel to be in the air.

the see through covering is the best if you have a crash you can see if you have any internal damage. This is a dancing wings plane, lets hope it flies better than the savage bobber...lol
What a sexy bird!
Lads, the markings are not French. The roundels and serial number (A17) are for the Royal Australian Air Force. The VH number is the civilian registration, so this one, A17-78, was delivered to the RAAF in 1940 and was sold to a private pilot in 1947. The DH82 Tiger Moth was the primary trainer for the RAAF and other Allied countries during WW2. Cheers from Aus

I'm about to start a puddle jumper balsa kit build.It will be my first balsa kit build.been flying rc now for 11 years so I figured why not do a small kit build.20 bucks for the kit at a flea market. Hopefully everything is there..laser cut it looks to sonit should go fairly easy..now to hunt monocote and esc/motor n servos..
I would love a balsa biplane in my my hanger. I find this size of biplane easy to store, transport to the flying field, but large enough to see comfortably when flying. I hope to see the build and maiden flight videos soon.

The savage bobber looked realy good too, but that model had some problems getting off the ground. I wish nothing but success to Dancing wings because I love the balsa wood models

You have to fly this it,s very nice good size for parks as well I think the last time I flew with a bolsa plane was like 15 years ago a stuker but I crashed it on its first flight and gave up on flying for years after but now I can fly good now it would be interesting to try one again always liked those tiger moth,s

Australian trainer from Temora NSW, flying training school WW2.I learned to fly at Temora 7 years ago, but I learnt in a Skyfox Gazelle, now own a Jabiru. We are using Sony AX33 camera. And we dont edit nothing.
Just been looking at your video, I see the Rego VH-TAN and recognise it as Australian. In fact I could be wrong but I think that belongs to a Cessna from a Rego search.
What a nice Tiger Moth! The see through mono-kote on the bottom, gives the bird a "vintage" look! Display is nice, but Pilot Robert, I know you will fly it. Its your style. Gas or electric?
