Surprised it went into a spin so easily - and didn't recover once you released the sticks. After a successful maiden it would be interesting to do some spin testing.
I was surprised too. I think most every plane I've flown would have recovered and he plenty of height too. I wondered if an elevator servo froze? Does look fixable. I did something similar on my 6th flight of my new Super Timber. I fixed mine. Sure looks like a nice plane and I bet you get it flying again. I LOVE Foam-Tac! Maybe do a video of your fixing it and how it turns out.
I have bought spare wings to make my own fuse, you should have noticed that, when slats are closed, the airfoils is perfect, but when slats are deployed there is a step of about 2,5 mm just out of the top slats gap (corresponding to close slats indent), this breaks the airflow like in a stalled wing and causes death spiral you experienced. You should try to level the step and I bet no more crashes

Hey Robert, i think the cause of the spin is there was no washout on the wingtips! Bet there was a little wash in in there. Should have about 3° washout. Then there shouldn't be any more spins 🤗
At my first look the plane reminds me a bit to the FMS Piper PA 18. At your first curves I thought it looks like the plane is going down , like the CG is wrong. (pure speculation). All in all a lightweight with 160 cm wingspan should not stall at that maneuver . My second thought was (the battery was maybe moving when you flew up) but on the footage - after the crash - it looks solid. Good luck.

Even experienced pilots can crash. You are not never try to hide it. However, Petrincic Bros, for your youtube viewers you are perfect no matter the result of the flights. It looks like you suffered a connection problem and it was NOT a pilot error. we could see that once the plane climbed up the sound of the motor suddenly stoped probably because of a break in the link between the controller and the plane receiver. A second after the plane turned and moved down the motor sound returned (the connection between the controller and the receiver re-established) but it iwas too late to fix the deep death spiral.

It went into a spin. One side of wing is stalled. Recovering from a spin typically requires opposite rudder and NO aileron (so avoid rudder/aileron mixing). Recovery requires practice until its instinctive. Sorry for your loss.
Robert, I'm so sad to see this happen to such a beautiful model. We all share your pain and exasperation. Fly, crash, fix, repeat... I can't wait to see it repaired and in the air once more.
Although it' s a bit sad what has happend still I feel that is really valuble information or lessons learned that even with STOL plane which is basically designed to be factory for lift on wings you can get into such situation which leads to loss of control and unavoidable crash (due to low altitude). But again nothing can stop you guys!
The only pilots that have never crashed zee planes , are those pilots that aren't. Might check the motor for loose mag's and a straight shaft. Thx for showing what happens to all of us but then getting back on the horse. Salute to all the brothers Russ NC/USA
I built a balsa plane with a .46 OS glow engine with a double tapered symmetrical wing years ago and if I did a loop that was too tight it would drop a wing and free fall about twenty feet before I could correct it. It happened to me 2 times before I learned to make the loops with a larger diameter. I was thinking that those front wing slats could have done something that could have caused the stall.
Oooch 😢nice and expensive Tundra shame about the price. Great vid gents always very entertaining and funny as always. Keep up the outstanding work for the best hobby in the world.

WOW that´s crazy she did not glide down. I had also this type of spiral on my Turbo Timber wenn I was learning and had a too small prop. I was really pissed on myself this time.
I was really mad at myself for doing such rookie mistake on new bird. But dont worry the bird is fixed like new. Almoust 😊
@@PetrincicBrosRC ❤
She will fly again my friend, and then we will see her do what she is made for! FuN!
We never give up on this channel 😊
You guys are brilliant 😂unlucky this time but its flying it happens 😔better luck next time 🤞🏻👌🏻
As long as we dont give up 😁
Although it' s a bit sad what has happend still I feel that is really valuble information or lessons learned that even with STOL plane which is basically designed to be factory for lift on wings you can get into such situation which leads to loss of control and unavoidable crash (due to low altitude). But again nothing can stop you guys!
The only pilots that have never crashed zee planes , are those pilots that aren't. Might check the motor for loose mag's and a straight shaft. Thx for showing what happens to all of us but then getting back on the horse. Salute to all the brothers Russ NC/USA
I always try to do my best and I just cant understand that I made such crazy mistake on new bird. But it is fixed 👍
@@PetrincicBrosRC Congrats and looking forward to a great new maiden. Thx Robt.
Been there, done that😬
Oooch 😢nice and expensive Tundra shame about the price. Great vid gents always very entertaining and funny as always. Keep up the outstanding work for the best hobby in the world.
It is like it is. And thanks. We will film as long as possible.
Darn it pilot Robert 😮 That's really too bad but the plane must have a bad characteristic it should not have continued that stall on the vertical down 😮 I'm sure you will fix it and get her back in the air better than new Best wishes my brothers😊
This must have been my mistake.
WOW that´s crazy she did not glide down. I had also this type of spiral on my Turbo Timber wenn I was learning and had a too small prop. Maybe the weight is higher than I suppose :/ It was super hard, but she is super repairable! I would do this in one evening. I have crashed so many planes and fixed some impossible edfs crashes xD Thanks for the video!!
This was a shock to me my friend. But I did already fix it.
@@PetrincicBrosRCyou are the man! Looping forward for the next flight! And make that test with more height, maybe after shooting one video just in case 🤣 This summer I passed Slowenia and I would love to stay there, next time!! :D Also following your cycling pros 👌🏼
easily done. keep that throttle on. !!! it will mend
Thanks Jeff.
Same thing happened to me once. It was in a barrel roll after a loop attempt then it rolled over and I could not come out of it until I cut the throttle
You zigged when you shoulda zagged.😨😨
Oh that's a pain!... My Timber X did sudden death spirals for a while and I never understood why... I have repaired it a couple of times and it flies great now. I will not have 100% confidence in it ever though....
I am so sorry to see that Robert, but with a little work it will fly again.Capatain Blaz did a great job with the camera.Thank you my friends for this video.
Thanks Don. The bird is fixed 👍
It will fly again Robert! With every crash there is something to learn…
Oh we never give up on any plane.
I thought you should of been able to fly out of that 😳 but I didn’t think you were that close the ground either, I don’t know some planes just get into that stall I guess you can’t recover
