I wish I could afford one of these Ghosts. I will someday, and hopefully,by then,Minelli will have 😮a stock to drool over . That was a very good call, lad mentioning that little tid bit about the laminate stock offering.Great video, and nice rifles indeed! I’ve never had the pleasure of owning a Daystate but I do own several Brococks which serve me quite well. In fact, one of my Sniper Xr’s has a grey Minelli laminate stock that is to die for.
I know you dont like the safari stock, but personally I love them and the look. If they released a Ghost safari, I would have it on preorder immediately. It would by far be a take my money rifle.
Just wondering if you have any advice. I have a Ghost in .177 and I do like it but I seem to be having problems with the magazine. With anything apart from the really hard thick skirted Bisley Magnums it deforms the pellets so badly sometimes it’s really hard to push the leaver forward, then you get really bad flyers. Completely ruins the rifle. Apart from the very slippery pistol grip and the magazine it’s a great rifle.
@@fieldsportcymru4636thanks very much for your prompt reply. Yes I might do that. I can’t particularly see anything wrong with it but it seems to have quite a lot of spring tension. Could possibly do with comparing it to another one. I did actually try it with some QYS this afternoon and they dropped right in very nicely, instead of jamming at the skirt. 2 mags worth fed very smoothly and all went through the exact same hole , though only a 15 yards. I look like saving that tin just for the Ghost!! Thanks very much for your time and effort with your videos, very interesting.
very nice 😎 sir won'ted one but in a bad place with finance and life s got in the way got all the PRS bits 😔 sadly no gun love your video s and honestly with the guns
The only thing negative I've heard about the Ghost, is someone saying they had to loosen up the scope ring screws mounting them to the rifle. They claimed this made the Ghost hard to cock when the screws were too tight. I don't fully understand this. But it's what they said. Elaborate if you understand what he was talking about.
Thanks for the videos. I’d appreciate your thoughts. I’m a traditionalist however the BRK Ghost is very attractive (on paper). My puzzle… Huntsman Revere, Revere safari edition, or is there another I should be considering? OR go off piste and get the Ghost. Thanks in advance. Take care.
Well if you like a lovely stocked traditional rifle the Revere is spot on . Mine and others ive seen have had some fantastic walnut on them . Personally i dont like the Safari woodwork. The Ghost is a very good solid work horse ,heavier than a Revere mind
Get both like I did. I LOVE the looks of the safari stocks as they have more of a salvage rustic look. I actually ordered the ghost and revere safari lol and waiting for them to arrive early next week. Everyone raves about what a workhorse the ghost is. Everything the Alpha/delta wolfs are without the electronics and cost. It was all I could do to talk myself out of the Daystate Alpha Wolf Safari. Ive got a feeling I will have one of them at some point. If I like the safari look as much as I think I will, I will likely get one in each offering.
BRK GHOST .I think the price is really good a good starting gun as u get better it gets better and more fun!!.The Alpha I dont care for unless u live in the USA were u can use all the power features. The BRK GHOST may well hurt sale of the Alpha would be an interesting board meeting!!
I agree many of these wonderful rifles are a waste inside the uk. I love living where we can have the good toys. Though thats being taken away more and more.
Great video I have to agree I managed to pick a ghost compacted up Xmas eve 177 could I ask all you lads what’s your foot lbs been an a string of 13 shots as mine has been not to good here’s one string of shots 10.34 gr jsb 11.80 11.70 11.76 11.64 11.61 11.54 11.57 11.53 11.74 11.67 11.53 11.67 11.54 Im hoping it will settle down any info would be much appreciated .👍🏻
@@fieldsportcymru4636 thanks for the reply you’ve put my mind at rest it’s a fantastic rifle first time I’ve had a bullpup I’ve always had traditional stocks the weight is totally different when you shoulder it 👍🏻
Happy new year. I hope you get over your flu, everyone seems to have it. The Ghost sounds like a great airgun. Ive just bought a Diana airking pro after watching your videos on it. Im very pleased with it. Thank you.
You will in summer or when weather gets better if it can kill a rabbit with a head shot at 40 yards and it can im not bothered about lying in the mud to shoot a target at 50
I know you said you were going to get a new moderator for your Ghost, what did you end up getting please? I got my Ghost just before Christmas and it does have quite a bark so definitely needs one. I've been looking at the new Huma stack system one but yours looks pretty good as well. Happy New Year and hope your feeling better now. 👍
Guys, if you need to know about specific airgun in general just dont listen to anyone who is affilated with the same airgun manufacture. they WILL lie to you, they WILL not say anything bad about the gun, the more he get paid the more he will recommend till you get a spank in your face when you buy the gun. keep that in your mind.
im seriously thinking of buying this week. can you advise on a rifle strap, can you put one on it for ease of carrying

Im sure they will eventually put a laminate stock on the Ghost .
Very helpful video as I am looking to buy one next year, thanks for the information. As an aside, which is the best way to attach a sling. Thanks
You can buy piccatinny rail swivel attachment which will fit on the front and rear rails for slings

I have both of these guns and there definitely the best out there.

Not entirely sure either . Only thing i can think is if the rail spans both the main monoque chassis and the rear part it could put strain on the join

Got the lesily classic and the lesily 2 the classic is my favourite best wishes Dave Chubb
I much prefer the classic to the semi auto . In fact the classic is one of my all time favourites, just a shame were its made
Have you had a go with the Leshiy 2?
I totally agree mate, I've had mine Ghost plus in 177. And i really don't want to put it down.
Hi which model of wraith scope do you have on it looks great
Its the new 4k one . Ive reviewed it on this channel

Did you keep the Ghost.
No i sold it so i could buy a cased Webley mark 2 service
Is that the carbine? If so would you like to sell it ?
It is and its already gone im afraid .

Great rifle i love mine ,bloody heavy beast but so nice to shoot
Hi I’ve got the ghost carbine plus and as you said it’s a lovely gun to use.
how do you adjust the hammer on the styer pro x .22 please
Their is a small allen bolt at the back of the action ,truth be told it doesnt have much effect on power at all sub 12
@@fieldsportcymru4636 thank you , what can you increase the steer power up to ?
yeah lovely v pretty .but we want to see it group at 50yds

Is the ghost anti double loading
No the new mags are not anti double load like the old mags
What Silencer is fitted to the Ghost ?

Its just a cheap Webley one i had ,its actually more of a rim fire one with some carbon wrap on it
i just moved the cheek rest back works great
Its a bit too far back for comfort for me sadly
Sorry, but not an accurate gun beyond 30 yds. for the price. My Break-barrel shoots just as tight groupings & it only cost $119.
Try some different pellets, I think you will change your mind.
you are ignorant and clueless with this nonsense. Plenty of people shooting them to 100 and 200 yards with tight groups.
Poor cheek piece design by Daystate

Just as well im not affiliated with anyone then .
Your argument is invalid especially since he has both the alpha wolf and ghost and is suggesting the less expensive of the two.
Happy new year mate.
Happy New Year to you too mate ,hope your well . Im on the mend now thank heavens
Like most British guns way overpriced
Cheaper than an Impact or a Cricket or Uragan or a Steyr
I have been looking at the ghost or the agt uragan 2 , the agt is £500 more than the ghost
Not overpriced in my opinion, and will be getting the hp version if fac comes through😉
Quality comes at a price. And Brocock is quality.
You get what you pay for in anything, including Airguns!
