can you tell me if this rifle is lighter than hw 100bp,of which i have now i have had a stroke and my left arm is weaker than a politicians promise , i need something lighter and thinking of getting one of these, rifles cheers.

Always love your vids mate and most of the rifles you test are good or stunning rifles in your opinion or review. Be interesting to know from you, what would be thee best rifle you’d just want to own. I know you love prob most of all the Steyr rifles, but if in a survival situation for instance what would be your go to gun. Mine in an air-rifle would have to be either the HW35E or the HW77K. That’s a lot of bipod for the gun.

Do pellets fit loosely in the breach?

Just watch the screws in the stock mine came lose in the first week and even the screws in the trigger gard they came lose either that or they wasn't tightened properly in the factory

I bought a clone v9 bipod and it costed me €30. With a few very simple modifications it became a very good bipod. Now I must say I am a backyard pcp gunner so I don't need a €500 bipod. Thank you for your explanation 😊

At first I bought an EL 10x42, but swapped it within a few days for a much lighter NL Pure 10x32. Better in everything, costs me €500 extra, but worth every euro. The best of all worlds if you ask me.

I've just ordered a HW97k with a hawke 3 x 9 x 50 ao scope. Guy in the shop said that would be best for my wild living adventure and hunting small game for my food. Great video buddy 👍🏻

Got more gear here than the fkn ministry of defence ha hur..14 years of age and they think they know everything....ps got another 3D mag for my np02 coz they swap over to the 03 as well happy bunny put a 6×2×24 on the 02 shooting well kid

I loved mine, but found the H5 Scout far too long with a silencer on and heavy, Pro-x Scout better length, but still extremely heavy, with a decent moderator and Scope/mounts on.

Hello again, Paul. Interesting to see the slide on shroud. As I’ve mentioned in another of your videos a day ago, in the USA, my .22 Scout came with a full length factory shrouded barrel, and at 29 ft lbs (40 jewels) it’s very quiet.

I wouldn't pay £1000+ for a spring rifle, however good it was.

Great rifle, that cylinder should screw off like my Hunting 5, you can then hide the screws holding shroud on. I agree, the moderator adapter i have on my already long barrel Steyr is bland and adds to the length, however it works very well indeed. Lovely set up there mate, ohh and lets the dogs out man😂 Your Patterdales are the real stars❤😂

They do look very nice but I'm unlikely to ever own one myself. Out of principal i refuse to buy a gun where they can't make the effort to machine a pic rail into the block and expect you to clamp an adaptor on. Picatinny is the industry standard and has been for ages. FX did it with the Crown mk2 years ago and those still using dovetail won't be getting any of my money. And as for not screw cutting the barrel for a silencer... 🤦

Paul, I’m somewhat older than you and I’m on the other side of the pond… I have a Steyr Pro-X Scout with shrouded barrel, in .22 (40 jewels). ( In the USA, The Scout comes with a factory mounted, fully shrouded barrel, not an “add-on” sleeve). As beautiful as the walnut stock is/was, I had a very high gloss laminated stock made by Gary Cane in England. It took almost a year before I received it, but it is the most spectacular “piece of wood” I’ve ever seen, and matches the exceptional quality of the Steyr, making it even more unique. 10mm groups at 50 yards with both 18gr JSB and Hades pellets. I have a Steyr LG110 for 10mtr shooting as well….They don’t advertise because Steyr doesn’t have to, word of mouth is all they need. By the way, I purchased my Scout about two years ago after watching one of your videos…so thank you.

Paul what do you think of the new EDGUN FENIX I really love the look of it but every dam video I seen so far is in Russian but I absolutely love the look of the gun. As for your STEYER it's a beatiful work of art and I know it's a top quality gun.

Nice guns and video but im a complete novice and looking for my first good air rifle. Springer that is. Can't afford all the necessary equipment that pcp involves. My only experience is my friend had a break barrel when we were kids. After watching a lot of youtube I think the hw 97 kt. Was hoping you could stear me in the right direction as far as springers go.thanks mate in advance.

Interesting film. It appeared that a few months ago you were becoming jaded with the developments in air gun technology. I still get great pleasure from using break barrel springers. I suppose it's all about whatever floats your boat. Best wishes.
