One of those cars that were pretty successful but never won Le Mans and get eventually mostly forgotten. I'd love a video on one of the more insane examples of this, the Porsche RS Spyder, the LMP2 that fought (and often won against) the Audi prototypes in the peak of their dominance, yet never even ran Le Mans.
Yeah I'm going to probably have to make it to rennsport reunion to get photos of an RS Spyder on track. Maybe next year. Weird peccadillo of mine that I try (oddity week notwithstanding) to only do videos on vehicles I've had the opportunity to see and photograph in person. May just have to get over it... Haha
Thanks much! Yeah, it's remarkable how cars can fall down the back of the historical file cabinet if they don't win one of the big famous races. Actually, kind of applies across most sports, if you think about it...
This was my favorite race car, growing up. Since I forgot to be rich, the Radical SR3 had to fill the gap. There is no way Radical didn't use the 333 as it's model.
My favorite Ferrari race car of all time, even though by Ferrari standards it wasn’t all that successful. The thing is….MY GOD THE NOISE IT MADE! There’s a RUclips video of the entire 1995 WSC race at Texas world speedway (RIP). There are several times the three 333SPs in that race go through the tri-oval together at full song and my goodness, it is the music of the gods.
I will say the most consistently great thing that Ferrari does is make great sound automobiles. Not always the best performing, but invariably beautiful exhausts
The sound it produced irl was amazing. Saw it in the 90s on Spa Francorchamps.

Did win at Daytona in 1998 though 🤘🏼
love the car
For sure one of the most forgotten Ferrari cars despite the good results, for sure with 1 le mans win things would be different.
Great video again!

@@lenslr so true yeah

Yeah I think you are right. It looked kind of generic without the Ferrari green colour. A two seater steel roll hoop made a part of the impact I think

One of the few Ferrari, where I couldn't tell it's an Ferrari lol
I mean, ultimately it doesn't have any defining brand characteristics, so I guess that would indicate a Daewoo at that point in time?
