Does the LCBO want me to feel bad for their liquor monopoly? Sorry I don't.
Me too….
Imagine cheering for job loss in your own province…
@@CH-yj2kw Imagine cheering on government backed monopoly.
@@CH-yj2kwimagine opposing job creation in your own province.
I don’t feel bad for them in the slightest
So the LCBO want to make legislative demands? Bye bye LCBo
Privatize. Government has no place dealing drugs. Booze same.
More competition is needed across all sectors in Canada. Competition is healthy for all businesses.
Can we please get rid of the LCBO
If there's ever been a time, it's now
No no, privatize it so Dougie can put his hand in another cookie jar.
@kevanbrown8272 no no, give the union everything it wants so PM Blackface can buy votes.
This is a waste of time, we need housing and these politicians are out of touch!
So are the LCBO teamsters striking for higher wages in a declining economy…
This is a problem. Regarding this problem in particular. Booze should be privatized.
Sell off LCBO and just collect the tax like you will be in all other stores that we will soon be able to buy booze at. LCBO union just wants to keep the monopoly they have and let the Ontario citizens continue to be gouged.
Is a ready made cocktail not just like a Mikes hard lemonade in can? They already sell all these items in grocery stores chains. Btw, who is the lcbo union to say no one else can sell booze. A complete monopoly on the industry.
The only difference is that the ones in stores and beer stores are malt based not spirits based. They are classifying those ones similar to beers that's why the selection is limited.
The lcbo makes money for taxpayers, this is just a massive gift for the big box stores
@@bluesbrother2383 where’s the gift, you think that they aren’t going to be taxed the same
@@bluesbrother2383 the current set up is not the most efficient. The province would still collect a small portion of the value chain but less because they wouldn't have to manage inventory, brick and mortar overhead, unionized employees, administration, supply chain etc. Alberta runs on a private model.
@@jobber1984 I would be interested to see the comparison of government revenue from the 2 separate business models
The stores that sell alcohol say "LCBO OUTLET" its still LCBO regardless.
Make it like the states where we buy beer at the gas station and single cigarettes
And guns on every street corner.
We don't need to be more like America.
Sell the lcbo.
No spirits? What about straight-up ghosts!
Ppl don't need government employees with inflated salaries and golden pensions to sell the public their preferred liquor and alcohol beverages!
Support your local distilleries!
Why would you not sell it, Doug?
Here's a compromise. Domestic and ready-made cocktails can be bought wherever. The lcbo for imports, spirits and top shelf. Don't like that... too bad, start looking for work in a horrible job market...
The union wants to dictate government policy.
bust the public sector unions holding taxpayers hostage!
Like the teachers Union?
The fascist mantra. Break everyone but me. Then they come for you.
Lol LCBO get paid like 23 dollars to work a cash register. No sympathy from me.
Lol ohhh well I heard this was all your idea lol. I'm so confused.
No more experience there will be no more.
Go away lcbo union
IT'S the work of MY FAVORITE DOING BEFOREHAND MY REINS END OF THE LIFE JOURNEY AND HISTORY😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
P.O.S But you can trust him!
Yep , this is what you get when you vote conservative
LCBO needs to go. Start treating Ontarians like adults. Even in Australia which has some of the highest taxes on booze in the world aside from maybe Saudi Arabia, they let you buy and drink booze freely.
LCBO contributes billions in revenue directly to the Ontario government and has the strongest buying power in the world (literally) - it makes zero business sense to axe it.
@@christopher6895 and that revenue can be gotten via excise tax like elsewhere in the world
@@christopher6895it all goes to healthcare and if you go to the hospital as an alcoholic, they turn you away and laugh at you. We don't need the LCBO and we don't need the tax
@@christopher6895LCBO contributes less than private liquor stores in Alberta per capita. It makes zero business sense to keep it.
This guy is a liberal !
ill just drive to the states and get bottles not support corrupt ford.
Do your ears work?? Or are you just daft as all hell....
You gonna sneak em past customs? 😂

BAN ALCOHOL ALL TOGETHER LIKE OTHER COUNTRIES AND HAVE VERY STRICT CONSEQUENCES
Yeah but this country legalized weed for their own pockets. So that’s not happening.
What countries have an outright blanket ban on alcohol? Not even Saudi Arabia and Iran allow some alcohol sales (for foreigners and non-muslims). I don't believe you there is a country that has completely banned alcohol.
@@matthoffman6962 Portugal legalized all drugs so your point is?
How will governments make up the shortfall in revenue via sin taxes if they ban alcohol outright?
