Me : Yeah! *nod nod Julian: Caitlin, I can FIX you. Me : Shut your mouth!! Caitlin doesn't need someone to FIX her. She needs someone who can accept her for everything that she is. SCENE 2 - The part where my eyes got teary "I think about all the memories I cherish most and you’re in every single one of them, Caitlin." I'm feeling you Cisco. Caitlin has been there with us since the beginning. There's no Flash (series) without Caitlin Snow. SCENE 3 Savitar said, "What can I say, I outgrew red. (I wear blue to match Cait's)." Frostar matching clothes~ Btw, will you react to eps. 3x16-20? The magical scene where Flashfrost dancing together in the sky is too good to pass up. Thanks for your hard work! Well done as always :)
I honestly loved this episode, but I have to say I'm getting mighty annoyed with Team Flash: 1) I'm actually surprised no-one else has really mentioned it. Barry said to Iris that Caitlin was "maybe too far gone now." It's been like a week, maybe 2 and you're ready to throw in the towel?! This woman has had your back, patched you up, saved your life on multiple occasions, sometimes at great risk to herself and she's suddenly too far gone to help? SCREW YOU NEW BARRY ALLEN! 2) "We're your friends. Your family." Family that put a glowing power suppressing necklace on her and put the issue aside, leaving her to freak out while they focused on Iris. She had used her powers multiple times this season, mostly to either save Barry or Iris and Iris would be dead already if it wasn't for Caitlin's powers. And yet they ignore the downside of her using her powers because...well I have no idea why. Barry just keeps saying "I'm sorry" and "we can fix you." She's been fighting for control for months. Did they help her figure out her powers and work with her to control them so they don't control her? Help her figure out what triggers Killer Frost's takeover and help her work through her repressed anger, fear and sadness to lower the risk of a full takeover? Done anything even remotely helpful to help her like she is ALWAYS helping them? If I was Caitlin/Killer Frost it would take a hell of a lot more than hollow apologies after the fact and "we're family" platitudes to get me to ever trust them again. 3) And I still can't believe Joe and Barry's more or less none reaction to Caitlin DYING and then turning into Killer Frost. Caitlin got hurt because Joe let Abra Kadabra lose. Barry finds out his friend flat-lined and then became someone she even said she's rather die than become and he acted like it was just another day at the office, and even went ahead with his plan to time-travel and hour or two after she escapes into the night. We can see where his priorities are and it's, yet again, with Iris. I know this season is supposed to bring about a more mature Barry, but why does that mean he has to be a dick to everyone but people with the last name West. Hell he was even a dick to Wally a few episodes ago and their own sister and father just stood back and let Barry tear him a new one. Everyone's tense, but it seems like Barry is losing everything that drew me to The Flash in the first place, and showing absolutely no emotion regarding Caitlin. 4) How many times now has Caitlin saved Barry? and Wally? and Iris? And yet Joe still pulls a gun on her as soon as he sees her, even though she's one of the main reasons his children are still alive. It's truly shocking how quickly the team turned on her. "Wait, so Killer Frost is in control of Caitlin now because Caitlin died and Julian removed the necklace while we were at Joe's? And instead of jumping at the chance to go back home to the people who stood idly by and let Killer Frost get closer and closer to the surface, she joined the only person who offered her acceptance? That bitch! Screw the friendship, loyalty and life saving actions she's exhibited time and time again over the last 3 years, she is now our enemy...unless we can sway her with reminders that we see her as broken and even though we did almost nothing to prevent it we're like really really sorry. No? Ok, guns out people." 5) I'm sorry to all the WestAllen fans out there but in my opinion, Iris and Barry are anything but meant for each other. Since getting together, Iris is almost never seen at her job and in fact one of the few times her job is mentioned Barry tells her she thinks it's way too dangerous for her to do a story (which is true frankly) which she agrees with to his face...then goes behind his back and does what she wants anyway and the only reason the arms dealer didn't kill her is because her speedster brother stepped in. And then Joe blamed Barry equally for Iris' stupid decision. She's constantly at the lab, but has no active role besides giving Barry pep talks every other episode, even though he used to get them from EVERYONE on the team depending on the circumstances which had more impact because they all had different experiences to draw from and having almost all of them come from Iris greatly diminishes them. And their relationship changing from engaged, to taking some space, to engaged again over the course of 3 episodes just makes them seem indecisive and flaky and made me want them to break up just so they'd stop with the hammed up drama already. Add to that Barry seems to be valuing anyone other than Iris less and less: scolding Wally in front of the entire team like he's never done something stupid (how's the timeline these days Barry?), taking Cisco and Caitlin for granted on a near weekly basis, not asking Joe's blessing before he proposed to Iris even though he knew how much it meant to Joe. And if Barry's jaunt into the future is anything to go by, I think Savitar seems to have a more and more valid point. Barry seemed happy to ignore Caitlin's problem until it suddenly boiled over and then it was "I'm sorry Caitlin" and while I actually liked the scene between Barry and Killer Frost in the prison and his seeming realisation that he really bloody let everyone down by focusing so much on himself and how he would be affected, but his complete lack of follow through since just makes his apologies seem empty. Now it's 4:40am and I finally got some o that off my chest. Great video as usual! Night all :)

His non reaction to her death irks me: here is someone who has had his back and watched out for him for over 3 years and not only is he not there while she's recovering (which I can accept because I assume they're taking shifts to watch over her) but he doesn't seem to even care that she *DIED*. Holy shit... I just realized everything you said is absolutely spot on. The parallels between the two of them is unbelievable and now I can see just how much a better fit Caitlin is for Barry than Iris. I mean I kinda saw it before but now I can't unsee it cause it's so obvious to me now. Kinda like you said I don't know if the writers did all this on purpose or they just didn't realize it but damn they are so alike. And you know I just realized that maybe just maybe the writers did this intentionally to plant the seed for the future. I mean all the minute details and parallels are just too much to be coincidence. Come to think of it there's atleast four more seasons of the show to go and they're getting to the relationship stage for Barry and Iris rather quickly if you think about it. Now sure you can drag their relationship along for the rest of the shows run but I don't how unless it's written really well or the stuff between them is more limited and even then it would get old at some point. So there might just be a small chance that they're building to a relationship not between Barry and Iris but Barry and Caitlin. I mean this is some pretty well thought out stuff they've already laid down plus there seems evidence that they're atleast considering it and like I previously stated at this early of a stage in the game I don't see the end product being "Biris" but more likely "Snowbarry". So hey it could actually happen and honestly I hope it does. You know what really ticks me off! That Julian told Caitlin 'I can FIX you'! Barry and Cisco would have said 'I can Help you'. Feel the difference? 'Helping' someone implies that your goal is to assist them to get something or somewhere that benefits Them. That the goal is for their benefit, not yours. 'Fixing' someone, on the other hand, shows that you feel that they have a flaw/flaws that you will not except in them. That you will not except that person until said undesirable traits are removed. THAT'S A HUGE DIFFERENCE! Just goes to show you how different Barry (and Cisco) and Julian treat Caitlin.
I'm glad that the writers have kept to the script with the relationship of Barry and iris, but It would be amazing if iris dies in the hands of savitar and the only person that can stop Barry falling into the darkness is Caitlin, as Caitlin and Barry have been through the same thing, they have lost their loved ones. So from my point of view they understand each other they know each others pain. I WANT SNOWBARRY/FLASHFROST TO HAPPEN. They would be the best power couple in the show. Oh how I have missed your videos! It's interesting, isn't it, how the writers have inadvertently created this amazing potential which they deliberately choose to squander. Every attempt they make to solidify Iris and West Allen as this epic destined love only further proves why they don't belong together. Sadly, I don't think the writers even realize they are doing this. They've made it very clear they will go down with this incredibly forced ship no matter what and still there is nothing they can do to undermine the foundation of snowbarry they accidentally created. We've been saying for some time now that this so called "epic love" is unhealthy and this episode sealed it. By attaching the moment the supposedly fell in love to Barry's greatest loss they defined his "great love" for Iris as nothing more than a post traumatic stress reaction. He had just lost his mother and his father. He needed someone and she just happened to be there (ya know cause she lived there too) This explanation explains so much about their relationship and his blind devotion to Iris. Their relationship only moves forward during emotional instability. They "fell in love" the night Barry basically became an orphan. Iris suddenly decides to make a play for Barry right when a) he's lost his powers (which he feels are a vital part of who he is) b) Caitlin has been kidnapped and c) his father has just been murdered right in front of him. They moved in and got engaged when he saw his future remnant self killing her. The only time they move forward is during emotional crisis and instability.

I kinda wish he was able to turn good so Frost could finally have a decent love interest in some future season. If the viewers hadn't figured it out by now, Team Flash would fall apart without Caitlin.

In season 2 episode 21, Barry calls Joe his adoptive dad. Calling him that would make Wally his adoptive brother and Iris his adoptive sister, thus making WestAllen incest. Also, I read somewhere, maybe on Tumblr, that it could be a possibility that Caitlin wants Savitar to kill Iris because she has realized that she likes Barry. I've been mad at the writers since either the first and second season, especially when Barry and Iris decided to "give it a shot." Also, Barry spent most of the first season WITHOUT Iris knowing he's the Flash, so when he says that he "can't be the Flash without" is just pity and season 1 is proof. And everytime I see WestAllen copying a SnowBarry moment, I get mad because it's like they can't have any good moments together so they have to take SnowBarry scenes. And it took Iris almost two whole seasons just to finally say that maybe her and Barry were meant to be together. And what really annoys me is that Barry has tried to move on from Iris. He tried with Linda and Patty, heck, even Felicity. But towards the end of season 2, Barry's just like "Why don't we give us a shot?" Like wut? You tried dating other girls and then you just decide to go back to her? And the one question that I'm dying to know the answer to this: That kiss that Caitlin shared with Everyman in 01x19, does she remember that? I mean, I know that Barry messed up the timeline one too many times, but does Caitlin remember that? And if she does, would she ever tell Barry? Holy shit... I just realized everything you said is absolutely spot on. The parallels between the two of them is unbelievable and now I can see just how much a better fit Caitlin is for Barry than Iris. I mean I kinda saw it before but now I can't unsee it cause it's so obvious to me now. Kinda like you said I don't know if the writers did all this on purpose or they just didn't realize it but damn they are so alike. And you know I just realized that maybe just maybe the writers did this intentionally to plant the seed for the future. I mean all the minute details and parallels are just too much to be coincidence. Come to think of it there's atleast four more seasons of the show to go and they're getting to the relationship stage for Barry and Iris rather quickly if you think about it. Now sure you can drag their relationship along for the rest of the shows run but I don't how unless it's written really well or the stuff between them is more limited and even then it would get old at some point. So there might just be a small chance that they're building to a relationship not between Barry and Iris but Barry and Caitlin. I mean this is some pretty well thought out stuff they've already laid down plus there seems evidence that they're atleast considering it and like I previously stated at this early of a stage in the game I don't see the end product being "Biris" but more likely "Snowbarry". So hey it could actually happen and honestly I hope it does. Hell this one video alone our of the countless ones I've already watched may finally be the one that makes me jump on the " Snowbarry" bandwagon. Great video and observations on your part so thanks you helped me see things in a whole new light. Now I'm actually pulling for them a bit because you further convinced me that they're both such a perfect match for each other and if you think about it "speed and cold are opposites" and what do opposites do? 'Helping' someone implies that your goal is to assist them to get something or somewhere that benefits Them. That the goal is for their benefit, not yours.
'Fixing' someone, on the other hand, shows that you feel that they have a flaw/flaws that you will not except in them. That you will not except that person until said undesirable traits are removed.

Oh how I have missed your videos! It's interesting, isn't it, how the writers have inadvertently created this amazing potential which they deliberately choose to squander. Every attempt they make to solidify Iris and West Allen as this epic destined love only further proves why they don't belong together. Sadly, I don't think the writers even realize they are doing this. They've made it very clear they will go down with this incredibly forced ship no matter what and still there is nothing they can do to undermine the foundation of snowbarry they accidentally created. We've been saying for some time now that this so called "epic love" is unhealthy and this episode sealed it. By attaching the moment the supposedly fell in love to Barry's greatest loss they defined his "great love" for Iris as nothing more than a post traumatic stress reaction. He had just lost his mother and his father. He needed someone and she just happened to be there (ya know cause she lived there too) This explanation explains so much about their relationship and his blind devotion to Iris. Their relationship only moves forward during emotional instability. They "fell in love" the night Barry basically became an orphan. Iris suddenly decides to make a play for Barry right when a) he's lost his powers (which he feels are a vital part of who he is) b) Caitlin has been kidnapped and c) his father has just been murdered right in front of him. They moved in and got engaged when he saw his future remnant self killing her. The only time they move forward is during emotional crisis and instability.

For the record, Frost and Savitar had some of the best character chemistry (romantic or otherwise) in the season. I kinda wish he was able to turn good so Frost could finally have a decent love interest in some future season.

In season 2 episode 21, Barry calls Joe his adoptive dad. Calling him that would make Wally his adoptive brother and Iris his adoptive sister, thus making WestAllen incest. Also, I read somewhere, maybe on Tumblr, that it could be a possibility that Caitlin wants Savitar to kill Iris because she has realized that she likes Barry. I've been mad at the writers since either the first and second season, especially when Barry and Iris decided to "give it a shot." Also, Barry spent most of the first season WITHOUT Iris knowing he's the Flash, so when he says that he "can't be the Flash without" is just pity and season 1 is proof. And everytime I see WestAllen copying a SnowBarry moment, I get mad because it's like they can't have any good moments together so they have to take SnowBarry scenes. And it took Iris almost two whole seasons just to finally say that maybe her and Barry were meant to be together. And what really annoys me is that Barry has tried to move on from Iris. He tried with Linda and Patty, heck, even Felicity. But towards the end of season 2, Barry's just like "Why don't we give us a shot?" Like wut? You tried dating other girls and then you just decide to go back to her? And the one question that I'm dying to know the answer to this: That kiss that Caitlin shared with Everyman in 01x19, does she remember that? I mean, I know that Barry messed up the timeline one too many times, but does Caitlin remember that? And if she does, would she ever tell Barry? I know I'm rambling, but I honestly can't tweet absolutely ANYTHING about SnowBarry without the WestAllen shippers attacking me for it. But I'll end with this: I'm trying to write a fanfic. One is about SnowBarry and the other is about FlashFrost. Which one should I write? And if I write both, which one should I start first?
