when I'm stressed, nervous, down, I watch your videos. they make me relax a lot. excellent quality, fantastic fitting. you are great. compliments. sorry for my bad English. I'm italian.
Great video and a lovely sound track. I am just starting back in the world of Reed keeping I've got a nice fluval m90 all in one tank and sump and like yourself will be going down lps corals with frogspawn torches and hammer heads and maybe a Duncan and elegance coral. And I will be posting my progress on my fish tank channel called blythe valley fish. Look forward to your progress. Peter from the UK
Hi Danny been following your new build, I am planning to do the same thing and following your step, I see that you adding just lps and soft corals, when do you think you can start adding the SPS? thanks!
I'm going to say that I have next to no knowledge of aquaristics (especially saltwater) so I apologize if this is obviously ridiculous. But since you asked about adding "fish": have you ever thought about adding a Moray eel to one of your tanks? I have read mixed things about how well they do in captivity but they are definitely one of my favorite groups of saltwater creatures. I distinctly remember visiting the pet store as a child and going for the saltwater section to see if this beautiful ribbon eel was still there (no one bought it for a long time). To me, Rhinomuraena quaesita especially look so otherworldly with how long their bodies are - a bit like dragons from Asian folklore or sea serpents. They probably require a larger setup but would you ever consider owning one if you had a tank that could accommodate for it? Quite a few fish-related channels I watch have something of a "mascot" like a pufferfish with an especially derpy face. While I know you are more focused on coral (which I love), a more distinct water creature (if you have one you like, that wouldn't snack on the coral) could make for a cute mascot to feature in videos and film feeding clips for.
I should probably add that I'm definitely not spreading Moray propaganda and that I definitely don't have a list with "aquaristics channels that have a cute moray I can fangirl over".
No filtration, a healthy bacteria colony is capable of keeping most things in check. All I do is a weekly/bi-weekly water change of about 10%! It’s how I run all 5 of my tanks.
@@DannysAquariums no shit ok do you add bacteria or does that come from you using natural sea water? I'm still new to saltwater been about a 1 1/2 and trying to learn it all lol. I do love your videos
For you Christmas came early I guess? ;) Got yourself a nice collection by the looks of it! Did you buy these in the Netherlands or did you order internationally?
@@DannysAquariums Which store do you order from? Coral and Fish store in Breda? That store I'm gonna check out in the near future, the have a pretty big selection of fish and corals. At least, I hear ;)
*What else should I add to this aquarium? 💬 The other shallow reef wasn’t ready for coral yet. I will add some to that tank soon! 😁*

Hi.where do you buy corals?
What are you running for filtration? Just curious if there will be an algae bloom or anything involving new tank syndrome 🤔?

Yes, natural sea water is great. It contains a lot of plankton, bacteria and other micro organisms. That’s what does the trick for me.
@@DannysAquariums Do you collect it yourself?
No, I have someone collect it for me!

Haha, a lot more to come! ;) Yes, all from the Netherlands. Picked them up at a local fish store.
