My wife had one of those when they were new and we first met. Lost her last year but the car has great memories. Love it.
Sory for your loss.
@@madmike2624 thank you Brother. I still imagine her in the seat next to me in my Grand Sport with her hair blowing in the wind and her sweet, sweet smile.
Sorry for your loss.
I had one of those. It was brand new. I had a friend of mine and her daughter ride with me the next day. Her daughter carved her initials on the interior. I was so mad when I saw that. Good running car.
Sorry for your loos Sir
I had a 75 monty same color wheels and 400sbc. I sadly totaled it. Now I have a 76 with the 350 2bbl. Great cars.😊
I drove a 76 Landau in 1995-1996 had an 8 track player radio and rode smooth . It had been my Grandfather's and he gave it to me. Only problem I had was had to park away from other cars . .. those doors were huge!
Had the 73 triple black 350 swivel seats I love that car sunroof stock rally rims
I kno that was sweet!
@@angelo_giachetti you had one as well??
Swivel bucket seats!
On april 29th 1976, I bought a brand new Mercury Cougar. When the car was 4 or 5 years old, I reached under the dash and unplugged the clock, as I wasn't driving it much anymore, and wanted to keep it nice, and give it to my son someday. If I would plug the clock in now, it would work. If the clock was plug in for 48 years it probably would not work, it would be worn out. Thats why the clocks don't work in most older vehicles.. I am not a chevrolet guy, but the Monte Carlo would be a nice car to restore!
My parents bought a brand new 1977 Mercury Cougar XR-7 on July 8, 1977. Love that car and wish we still had it. New for 1977, Mercury had an anolog quartz clock that turned out to be very dependable and worked the whole time we had it. Definitely outlasted the two clocks we had in our 1972 Mercury Montego MX. The first one was replaced under warranty. The 1962 Chrysler Newport had a clock as well that I never saw working at all.
That's a good deal! Notice that most of the rust is on the front fenders---those are bolt-on. Paint doesn't bother me one bit---it doesn't affect the condition of the body or mechanicals, it's literally just paint. Love the burgundy bucket seat/console interior, and a 400 under the hood is a hot rodder's dream---a few mods would have it tearing up the streets. Someone is gonna have a lot of fun with this one
Nice ride. Paint it and bring it back to its original beauty !
Nice Monte Carlo. I actually like the Patina its got going on. It could use a good exhaust system. It'll sell quickly
My Uncle bought one of these back in 1976, it was red with white landau top and white/red interior. Beautiful car.Not the most powerful Monte Carlo ever made, but boy they were NICE cruisers. With a little love this one could shine again. Worth spending the money if that's original mileage. Will make a nice project for someone. Thanks again Nick!!
sheet of your things down there was no point of view of my life with Sherry O'BANNION I would have been pump in mud
The legendary small block 400 , in the legendary Monte Carlo...a true classic gem . Stretch those legs and set back that's a car ....not a glove box with wheels 😮
I like it. I want to find a 75 or earlier which is smog exempt here in Bat mess crazy CA.
Brings back such good memories being 6 years old in the back seat pouring rain outside but dry and safe rollin down the road
The slo-mo undercarriage shot reminded me of the beginning of Spaceballs where the giant ship slowly passes by.
Thanks so much for keeping the camera on the rust areas a little longer than in the past videos!
This really helps me.
I had a 1976 one back in college. It was a great runner and had some fun times driving it.
You always show everything about the cars. Thanks sir.
You do a excellent job on showing all the car's bro. I have been watching you for a yr now. Don't let anyone bring you down bro. Keep up the good work.
You didn't show the Swivel Bucket seat operation. I had a 77 with them on it. Mine didn't have tilt, and the gas gauge was where the "Economy" gauge was. It was a cruiser back in the day for sure!
When men ran a real GM😮
When I took drivers ed in 1977, the school had a brand new 1977 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Landau. Nice car.
Just remember that the ugliest muffin on the table do's not mean that it do's not taste good. But bring me some love and you will see of how much attention I will get in the long run. For the price will sky rocket in the long run. So lets understand that in the long run. Nice old Monte !
Brings back memories. My first car was a 1977 same color scheme. Looks like this one has a 2 bbl carb. Mine came with a Rochester 4 bbl.
Man that's nice I would daily that and take care of it.
That's what I'm sayin'. Nice solid driver with a little patina. Straight and clean. Not many like that around anymore.
I think you do a fine job on showing a car, some people are just a- holes. over all this monte was it pretty good shape. Too bad I missed this one, I would have loved too own this car. Keep up the good work.
Damn that’s a cool car! I love Monte Carlo’s! That one will sell fast!
PS: you zoomed over the rust spots too fast! I didn’t get to look at them long enough! 😂
I would buy it.. might trade my '84 el Camino..?
Want it. Love my 76 Monti. Silver on burgundy. 373 posi and a built 350 from a 70 chevell.
Except the bucket seats and duals that was what my 1st car was. So much fun racing ! 👍💯🥰
this guy is legit. These cars are awesome and RARE. I know where I'm getting my next car, MAPLE MOTORS.
Thank you
Damt good shape for a 48 yrold car untouched
In 1993 i had same car color interior sb 400 4bbl power windows...
Had for 10 yrs..
Had changed motor in 1999 for 1972 400 4bbl outta short bus..right at 300 hp
No seat belts ?
For as roached the paint job and Landau top is , interior and underneath is as good, I like this car ,😊
Horn relay or dead horns, easy fix if it's either one.😮❤ Changed Horn relay on my 77 years ago fixed the problem.😅🏁
I had one back in the day. Bought it for the motor. Scrapped the rest. Was a really nice car though..
Hi Nick with the price of the car what would you like it cost to ship it to Nl, CDA St John’s total cost and does it have the factory easy entry turning front seats tks Gary!
Nice car!!! Congrats!!!
Thank you
I had a 76 love it same style mine was champagne color
I had three of them 76 Monte Carlo
Don't be offended Nick, some people are just negative Nellis!!!
Can't believe how clean the floors are on that old girl. Great driver, enjoy it for a couple summers then fix er up. Great Price for a solid car.
Why did I tell my Grandpa that I wanted one like this when I was 8? I see them here occasionally but I have yet to pull the trigger...
Nice wheels 😮
Thanks 😁
I LOVE Monte Carlo. Had a 73 and two 76s. I wish I had the 73 back 😆 A numbers matching 400 Awesome car! Too bad about the maroon interior 🫤 thank you for the tour!
Classic.
Always great cars and great videos! Honesty goes a long ways!
That Monte can pull a 1974 Colboit boat . I know cause that's what my parents had for the making memories when I was a kid
Love me some Monte Carlos!
😂😂😂😂. love the .....Let's look at it a little longer...😂😂😅. u rite if u see it it's there looking longer don't make it go away...Keep up the good work Dude
Horn works
The Cale Yarborough special
Not a bad ride , does it have the swivle seats ? BIG funny on the long rust shots . My biggest fear if I purchased it would be what's hiding under the landau top , takes alot of work around the windows when the rust sets in.
Wow almost identical to my first car a 77 with the turd 305😅
I like it but i still want that thunderbird nick
I bet the horn worked again 😂 cool car.
Just let y'all know y'all doing a good job on the video keep them coming👍
Nice ride!
Nice 76 sounds good runs good. Big 10..
Didn’t the 76 have round tail lights and the 77 had the stacked square ones? I’m pretty sure. We got a brand new monte in 77 with the square ones and my parents friends had the 76 and it had round lights??
Headlights sorry
I think the 75 had round headlights, 76 and 77 had the 4. Best of my recall, was the taillight clusters were slightly different between 76 and 77. Those looked like 76 taillights to me.
I had a 77 MC. Bucket seats. Tan with white Landua top. Tilt wheel, cruise, AM-FM 8 track. Power door locks. Light group. Factory air. Nice car. Ring job at 30 thousand miles. Under the extra warranty I bought. Miss it.
@@williamflack5767 Wow! You had a loaded out one! Loved those swivel buckets!

Oh no you didn't Nick The Chevrolet Monte Carlo Landau just what I like to see before I go to sleep tonight 😅
Nick.. I’m low on money and a little credit challenged. One problem that contributes to my money problems is having to repair or replace cars because of emissions problems.. these are bad problems because if you don’t fix them they can fail annual emissions testing but worse.. these problems tend to CAUSE other Serious problems that cascade in a domino effect.
I’d love to buy a clean old or antique car or truck, that I can repair when needed and that is older not requiring emissions…. I have some down stroke money. Can you help me and maybe a lot of others in this same boat?
My first car! 😎
New paint would be a very sharp car
Bucket seats? Console shifter? I'M SOLD!
The hood can also be leased out for farmland.
Top and white high back bucket seats that was swivel turn in and out they didn't follow that is Twisted inside that sounds like driving a man yet it was so long and my sister ended up with it she drove for a long time after that good car
Those clocks didnt even work when they were new lol
Someday I’m going to stop dreaming and come buy something! 😄😄😄
That's begging for a classic nascar wrap
