How the hell does Legend / Master diff NF require “hIgH tEaM cOoRdInAtIoN” ??? Like seriously ? In DESTINY ??
And as long as Bungie doesnt give a sheet about the majority of its solo players community , the game will continue to be a “once in a blue moon” type of game where people only plays the game each time there’s a new season or expansion and then they just put off the game for a few month because it got too boring to play solo and/or lfg
Dont care if they are loading zones. The jumping puzzles are some of my favorites. And that argument does not totally hold up. Look at the old Whisper of the Worm. Its a jumping puzzle for 80% of the mission.
@@verios44 it’s not an argument, it’s just fact. This is the reason why everyone has to reach the end before it loads the new area and then it unloads the previous areas once you start the next encounter.
What I hate the most about Destiny is people who don’t understand Gambit. It’s infuriating watching someone run around killing enemies with 14 motes when all we need are 2 more for the primeval. Then you get those m0r0ns trying to shoot the immune primeval rather than eliminating envoys first.
if i have 14 motes and there are 2 motes needed ill usually just try to make it to 15 so i can send a large blocker so sometimes i get it, but there are def ppl who try a lil too hard and end up losing them all lol
It's so interesting hearing him speak about how horrendous the weapon system was at the start of Destiny 2 and how it caused waves of people to leave the game, because that was definitely me, I was a Destiny 1 fanatic and so I was super excited about pre ordering Destiny 2. I played the game for maybe 3 hours and then dropped it and never played it again. I recently picked up the game again cause I heard it was much better and I'm definitely having a much better time, the only thing that's kind of off for me so far is Exotics feel like so much less of a big deal than Destiny 1, I bought Destiny 2 Witch Queen Deluxe and got 4 free exotics lol.
yeah I agree with the exotics, they dont feel as special anymore. I will say when I get one to randomly spawn from an enemy, the sound will always be satisfying, even if the stats are dogsht..
It was bound to happen eventually. Exotics are one of the reasons we play this game, they're some of the best weapons. Which means the longer the game goes on, the more Exotics that will be added, and the less special they will be.
Yeah I stopped playing as soon as I beat the red war and returned a month before beyond light returned. The grind for exotics in D1 was so insane I basically spent 6 months doing nothing but grinding for exotics, getting ciphers for the kiosk, and leveling to play content which could get me more exotics. I'm happy I don't have to sell my soul to the rng gods but I do miss how special exotics felt. Though I can't have it both ways and with the way things are now I can touch grass every once in a while.
The tower is actually being slowly rebuilt. The yellow scaffolding was added in beyond light after years of it just sitting destroyed, so hopefully we will get to go back to the old tower in a year or 2
@@Kjf365 Bungie has said a lot of things that haven't held up. I would argue that we are playing d3 right now since more than half of d2 has been vaulted now. Much like Crimson, officially d3 doesn't exist but unofficially...
I gotta disagree with the notion that planet material grinding was bad. Sure, maybe it would be really old and boring by now, but back then I loved it. It gave patrol a purpose and i have great memories of hanging out with randoms and just goofing around. I remember when a chest would spawn in a cave, other random players would get everybody's attention so we could all get the materials. I get that it was tedious, I get that it probably wouldn't fly these days, but it was a nice experience that just doesn't exist anymore which makes patrol really worthless now.
I'm like, 90% a patrol player even though I wasn't around back then. It sadddens me profusely how little purpose it seems to have in the overall state of the game. If I'm not doing something for the story, I just wanna blast stuff and vibe, man. And if I want challenge, I wish there was more of it *like* patrol zones, where you can get that cool moment where you're doing something on your own and then another guardian rocks up out of nowhere and helps you out. I don't like matchmaking. I'm usually fine on my own, and imo the best matchmaking is that random drop-in drop-out you get in the field. I wish there was stuff out there that was more challenging that worked that way. Imagine you're struggling against nightfall-level enemies, doing your best playing it safe but slow, when a hunter rocks up, runs in guns blazing- you're like "ah shit here we go, he's gonna die like an idiot" and yeah, he does, but then a warlock drops in and throws a rift down and the guy falls back to it and you push up and leave your cover. The warlock moves in for ammo but almost dies when, wait a minute, that hunter's running healing grenades? did they switch to them while they were dead and refresh it with orbs or were they doing that from the start? like, fuckin' bang, you've got this impromptu pseudo-fireteam, no matchmaking needed, you just all happened to be in the same place at the same time and it just *worked out.* Any of you could drop at any moment without a penalty, and it's not like you can wipe or anything, worst case your progress is just slowed, right? so there's no stakes to get mad at each other about, so whatever, laugh when you die to a random box flipping over on you, or when one guy's corpse goes flying past you because he blew himself up with a rocket, or whatever stupid stuff the game usually does
One thing I truly loved about D2 on launch day though is that after reaching level 40, your exp bar would give you 1 free cosmetic engram everytime you'd fill it up and the cosmetics you didn't like could be dismantled for dust. Every cosmetic items could be bought with dust so there was literally no point in paying for cosmetics, you could get every cosmetics in the game just by playing the game and I think that was a really cool system
7:05 we definitely need an option to further customize our characters looks. We also need more customization options like more hair styles and facial hair.
Yeah I really wish I could change my male Titan to a female Titan but the reason why I didn't delete it and make a female character is because it's my original character from D1
@@cia6911 It’s the same with my characters that have been around since D1. I would love to just have the option to at least change things like the hair style and markings and maybe even more options like being able to have a beard. One thing that’s really bad about character customization imo is the customization screen doesn’t give you the complete picture of how your hair is going to look since you only see the front view of your character’s face in the customization screen. Then when you load into a social area you see the whole cut and it looks horrible and you gotta restart. Like you’ll pick a hairstyle that looks normal from the front and then it’ll end up being like a mullet where when you see the back it’s just god awful 😂
my og hunter looks like a bollywood star and an anime protagonist had a baby but someone accidentally dropped a slipknot album in the sex juices and i want to change it
as a new player who is not familiar with pvp and first person shooter, i got in the game because of my bf, he always told me the story was so cool, so when i started i expected much story and explanations on why we are there, where we are, who we are, and the game logic, weapons, classes , and all this good stuff. but when the tutorial came I was confused but i continued and after i finished some of the first quests I called my bf trying to understand the lore and most importantly the game system ( who is still confusing to me), when he said that a lot of story quests got throw out not to make the game too big I was so disappointed that I now just can't justify myself reading or watching a video of the lore, or just to understand what the is about, like a got the basic just because my bf is a big nerd of the game, but if it wasn't for him I would have gotten so many troubles even just to understand which weapon to keep or which armor stats I should go for. To sum it up the game lacks a proprer tutorial. sorry for bad english, it's not my main language.
You just dont understand that most people in that matchmaking pool dont know what to do, want a carry, dont know the dungeon, and dont know any damage metas and will use pvp exotic primaries for boss damage. Then it will pair them up and they will never get it done. Most people who know the dungeon lfg or will find friends. Its a dumb idea forcing people to carry others through a dungeon.
@@MetroidPurples the thing is is that if it was at least an option then nobody is forced to do it. Every dungeon has a solo flawless so there’s no way they’d implement matchmaking and make it impossible to do it solo or load in solo to get people off LFG. @@mrcawfee. You dont get what I was saying in the slightest. The people who go into matchmaking are the ones who dont know what theyre doing and want others to do get them through it but theyd only match with other people who dont know what to do. @@MetroidPurples you don’t get what I was saying either there’s no problem with having it if there’s an option to not do it like what lmao. Obviously people would do that but if it’s optional then do LFG or solo.
For the fusions mapping it’s kind of funny. You can kill a guardian across the map with one shot yet the same fusion can’t kill a rank and file that’s right in front of you
I feel like Bungie should never remove the 2 in Destiny 2. Doing so would make new players believe there was never a destiny 1 in the first place. And that game is too beautiful to forget.. 😇
Well I mean they also don't seem to care if people remember the Red War or Uldren Sov, even though both seem to be relevant atm. The problem is that they cater specifically to active players and shit new and returning players on the head.
@@Mediados They care about those just fine. They just care more about their players actually being able to play their game in the first place. Plusses and minuses.
For new players story wise: The quest kiosk in the tower should double as a cutscene viewer. That way, you can go through and watch all the D2 cutscenes, catch up on the story, and you maybe can even get to see your guardian in them like when we first played them. It's not as special watching some guy on youtubes guardian that he had made go through all the story content we are supposed to be caught up on. I imagine they don't include all the old cutscenes cause it would balloon the size of the game and cause issues with their spaghettis engine.
The problem is that cutscenes alone don't give all the context you need. A lot comes from interactions and dialogue. What we need is to be simply able to play their story, maybe even a seperate single player game.
@@Mediados A standalone, downloadable singleplayer version of the D1/2 campaign/seasons would be fantastic. whether it links into your account (like cross-save does) one-time to fetch your character or if it's more stripped-down and truly standalone, I think having something like that at all would be great for not only new/returning players, but also for archival purposes. Right now, the content removed from the game only exists in any form we can access because we have people taking video explicitly to preserve it, but video games, as an artform, are about more than just their story scenes and dialogue. The most tragic part of sunsetting content like this is the fact that it is essentially lost to the ether for eternity when long-term preservation is concerned.
@@Starfloofle What really pisses me off is that Bungie just has that data sitting around on their PCs, but they actively decided not to do anything with it.
The vaulting of content is what made me quit the game, that is like a slap to the face. Especially when they bring back said content and make you pay for it again.
good, but when someone just starts invading with full ammo gjallarhorn every 30 secons, it becomes stupidly frustatiing and that is why everyone hates gambit, it almost makes you use that weapon even if you dislike it or feel bad just for using it
I personally love it, I got forsaken a while back, but besides that I’m F2P in D2 and I gotta say, I hate going against some of these wild rocket launchers and line fusion rifles. However it just makes it more of a challenge, you can predict when you’ll be invaded by studying their patterns, do they invade right when they get 40 motes, if so then they will likely charge in eager for kills, in these cases you’ll want to hang back with a sniper and a dodge ready so you can get behind a wall. After he fires get behind the wall and try to kite him a bit while one or two of your related line up a shot, even without a headshot 2 snipers will down him. If they wait a while and it gets to something like 65-75 motes range and then they invade, it is likely that they will have a regular setup and play a bit more careful, these guys vary a lot but a good tactic is after finding him, to position one person infront and one or two on the sides or in their blind spot. It sounds obvious but it works. If they don’t use either of the invades then it’s a PvE crew, they a going for prime evil and you’ll need someone to slow their progress, or rush it yourself, they tend to be have very fast kill times on the mobs. So if you outpace them you should be fine, if not then you’ll want to designate someone as invader so they can slow their progress as much as possible. As for supers, people tend to get pretty aggressive with them so you can take the same approach as those with op weapons, have someone take agro and try to kite them into a sniper trap. Though you’ll need to be careful because they also tend to be more perceptive, looking around for quick kills nearby so you’ll want your crew to be position more so behind rather than at the targets sides.
I want matchmaking to be implemented on Master / Legend diff in Nightfall like in Guardian Game . Heroic diff is getting boring af and not to mention Vanguard playlist , its like Nightfall but in Baby diff
an honorable mention would be inflation, bright dust, legendary shards, and umbral energy decreases in gains, but the price for spending these currencies is so high
Sunsetting is needed, don't sit there and lie to yourself and me when i say that you and half the community would never change any of your loadouts until a streamer says something is busted or eyasluna 2.0 type stuff. If those items were never sunsetted half of you would actually bother to use new content bungie makes. Don't lie, because it was literally the reason gjallahorn was sunsetted in d1 for awhile.

Honestly one of my most hated things is just the menus in general. Things take ages to actually load into for whatever reason even if you had just loaded into it not even a minute prior and while it is loading you lose out on the actual functionality of the menus. Other times you will be looking through a certain sub menu just to have the game force you back to a previous sub menu because of something happening outside of the menus. The next gen versions as far as I can tell mitigate this slightly but there are still times where Im trying to switch weapons or classes quickly and have to sit and wait for the menu to load for like 15 to 30 seconds.
Nothing more fun than playing a quick pvp match and having to wait 25 seconds to switch weapons or mods out mid-game while your allies are dying around you
I don't know why bungie put map voting in Halo reach and was then like "we plan for destiny 1 and 2 to be even bigger successes, let's not put one of the best things about that game into our new ones"
I would like to see more focus for solo players or at least a matchmaking system for things like higher level nightfalls. Same thing with raids, I know they're meant to be difficult and communication intensive, but I've been playing since D1 released and have yet to complete a single raid because of how time consuming and tricky it can be to find 5 other people who can play the same time you can. Just my two cents
Yeah my main problem is that I simply have no friends who play Destiny. So I somehow have to try to scramble together some people who don't give a fuck to play vital story content. Still havn't gotten enough people for Vow of the Desciple.
Also I think removing orb generation as a property of masterworked weapons, exotic or otherwise, should be on the list. Nobody I've talked to except die-hard fans who praise Bungie at every opportunity likes that change
Yeah either energy or primary orbs if yoy wnat to run a fiber and no ejavt at all. Also yoy jave tobmatch the subclass. The comunmnity should complain about this type of stuff more
@@cbandit7715 From what I read, they did it because they didn't like the idea of forcing people to use certain weapons...as if the artifact mods every season didn't already do that. The only justifiable reason I can think of is that they wanted to allow un-masterworked weapons and exotics without catalysts to do it
You guys literally don't read anything. They removed orb generation because the engine couldn't handle any more perks on weapons, and they wanted Origin traits. So they removed Orbs to make room.
@@Kjf365 You literally ignore the effect it had on CWL builds. Becoming charged by picking up orbs your weapons or super made was one of the simplest ways to get charged if it was safe enough to do so, and only costed 3 energy to slot. Compare that to 5 that will charge you while using fusions or shotguns and I think linears, 4 (I think) for longer ranges like snipers, and more recently 3 when Blast Radius came out. Then consider that you now have to choose between ammo finders, orb generation, or any other mod that goes on helmets and...yeah, you should get the picture
The lfg thing boiled my buns. They should allow you to turn on or off matchmaking so you can still do legend and master nfs solo if you're down for that pain but still get paired with a team if you're not looking for a roundabout curb stomp. The reason guys like esoterikk are so popular is because when I watch him do a GM solo, I then apply that to my solo legend nfs and it helps a ton, but it'd help more if I could just get machmade.
I actually have some really good Dragon's Shadow fashion for anyone who wants it. It's my main hunter look and I'm quite proud of it since it's not the generic all black look (it's green and gold). Helmet: Valkyrian Mask with Rasmussen Clan Gloves: Empyrean Cartographer Grips with Rasmussen Clan Chest: Dragon's Shadow (base ornament) with Technofusion (or unshaded, the base ornament is green and works pretty well if you don't have Technofusion) Boots: Vernal Growth Strides with Watermelon (a lot of newer players will not have this leg ornament as it comes from the Revelry, a discontinued event, which is very unfortunate since the unshadable gold on these boots work absolutely perfectly with the natural gold curves of Dragon's Shadow) Cloak: Cunning Rivalry Cloak (blue rarity cloak from a past solstice) with Smashing Success
I think the worst is of the dcv, mainly because we buy the expansions, things go to the vault, and we eventually, through buying future expansions, get things we once bought back only for other things we bought to go into it with an endless cycle. T^T
If I could snap my fingers and remove 1 thing, 100% it would be the new Guardian Rises campaign it makes 0 sense and is extremely repetitive since you have to do it in order to get all of your other subclasses especially if you make a new character
I actually enjoyed old valus tarack he was a heavily armored Colossus like fighting a Maus. Also I apologize for the misspelling I don't remember how to spell his name.
Twilight Gap & Exodus Blue are great maps, with interesting terrain, asymmetry, and multiple levels. Convergence is a boring af 3 lane map with terrible spawn trap issues.
It's kinda a stretch to say twilight gap is a great map. It's not bad but you can really tell that it was built for 80fov and slower movement. Now it just feels like a shotty or smg map that doesn't really promote primary gunplay.
I didn’t think the Dragon’s Shadow cosmetic gripe would show up but I am so glad that it did. I feel like its usage would skyrocket if it looked better.
As a solo player it's really shitty to not be able to go in with your weapons of choice just because you have to get past one guy who won't stop regenerating.
@@Mediados Basically anything with Champs minus Lost Sectors aren't designed per se for solo play from the start. It's all designed assuming you're bringing in a team, otherwise it would be way too easy for the people that DO bring a team. You see what I mean?
I felt that one about the dragons shadow to my core. I have spent HOURS trying to make it look good and you are stuck using a black and gold shader if you want it to match.
I just don't get why bungie doesn't let people with more than enough storage on their platform of choice to download the vaulted content on their own accord. like ffs, I would love to do the leviathan raid again.
Double primary was interesting to me. I often felt like the main problem was that I rarely "needed" 2 primaries. Nowadays I often feel like I don't "need" a special AND a heavy. I wonder what a 2 weapon system would look like, maybe with buffed abilities to compensate.
The blues are good for infusing better gear and make purples more exciting to get. The duplicate class items are great for farming legendary shards. I’m all for gamers being assertive against an exploitive industry, but let’s think these things through
The reason why I had to stop playing Destiny 2 is because I'm tired of the recycled maps. I love the weapon play with PVP but I'm tired of all the cheesy things people do to win. I'm really tired of the monotony of playing the same maps back to back. I'm looking at you "Eternity" and "Vostok". I really wish they'd stop re-circulating already vaulted maps back into the game and create new maps to replace all of the maps on the planets that were taken by the darkness. Everything in this video is the reason why I stopped playing Destiny 2 and I hope Bungie actually finds this video and learns from it (But we all know that's not going to happen because they don't care)
The single most annoying thing for me is the melee registration. I play hunter, but for whatever reason, at least 50% of my punches either never track or never hit, or in most cases, I just don’t seem to have the range to actually hit other guardians, but the other player is clearly within range. It’s the most infuriating feeling to punch someone more then 4-6 times and do no damage while the other player is not only able to hit you, they’re able to do it from a father range, with better tracking. It never ceases to piss me off
Bungie should just do away with the whole rarity system. Delete all items lower than legendary from the game, they serve literally no purpose. Divide the loot up into "regular" and "exotic".
you're right....peer to peer is the biggest pain for me....I don't mind losing or dying, but the opponent must not get hit.....I hope for destiny 3, where the developers will pull their heads out of..... and they start to think and use their heads.
Many xbox players who haven’t upgraded to the Series X are still facing the low fps issue in menus. Things take forever to load in the character screen, and it’s been unchanged since the 30th anniversary update. Nobody is doing anything about it either.
In my experience, the opinion if 'everyone' is irrelevant, since 'everyone' is stupid. When it's about maps and those things about personal preference you can hardly make a neutral statement.
What everyone should be hating is Shaw Han, and that filler content of a “New Light” quest, with terrible level design, and recycled, clipping traps. Red War campaign needs a return, and I prefer it over whatever they replaced it with. I gotta blow through the same old bs every time I make a new character.
Am i the only ps 4 player that puts like 20 smg shots and a shotgun body shot into an enemy and deal no damage just to get killed in one shot despite having 100 resiliance aka 40% damage resistance

It is not a good experience. Also his scout at the end wasnt even the explosive payload roll. It had rampage for some reason. Not sure what thats about
Stasis was only balanced after they felt Beyond Light had sold past it's peak. Getting customers money was more important than the player experience. Period. That's it. That's the company making destiny 2 forever and always.
All i want is for the next raid to have a different format than the last 2: 1. Enter the raid (sparrow/darkness raft) 2. Open the door (security/totems) 3. First boss (atraks/caretaker) 4. Jumping puzzle 5. Chaos encounter (taniks phase 1/relic gauntlet) 6. Final boss (taniks/rhulk) Add another boss encounter, seriously, the format is starting to get repetitive and predictable
Ghost projections, I hate ghost projections, it would be cool if they turned them into eyes so all of the projections you have could be the eye of your ghost instead of stupidly floating their
I think the only note I have is your “insane flinch” point: you got flinched by a high impact machine gun. Kinda makes sense that it would have a lot of flinch.
Curse of Osiris was the worst. You just ran back and forth through the same boring infinite forest map over and over for the whole expansion. Sagira is a cool shell, though.
I remember the 2 nerf to the titan melee, the first one was fine, the second one made the melee having Less distance than the light subclasses, making behemoth unusable because of that. At least the second nerf was undone.
6:26 this is so annoying, like i bought Forsaken when i also bought Beyond Light (when i started playing the game) and recently i decided to start it just to find out i can only do 1 mission from it and not be able to continue it at all
Current most hated thing in Destiny for me is gjallarhorn. It’s 30 bucks, and makes you feel so useless in gambit if you don’t have it. It makes fighting invaders much more difficult and pushes you away from using the entire invading feature if you don’t have it.
Although I agree that the Gjallarhorn is really good for invading, you should try the Heir Apparent. That one is just as good if not better for invading.

What I hate the most about Destiny is people who don’t understand Gambit. It’s infuriating watching someone run around killing enemies with 14 motes when all we need are 2 more for the primeval. Then you get those m0r0ns trying to shoot the immune primeval rather than eliminating envoys first.
I watched someone nova bomb an immune primeval....it was painful.
@@kaseycanfield295 to be fair I've celestial nighthawked an immune primeval because it went immune right before I shot it.
if i have 14 motes and there are 2 motes needed ill usually just try to make it to 15 so i can send a large blocker so sometimes i get it, but there are def ppl who try a lil too hard and end up losing them all lol
Facts or people depositing at 4, 9, or 14 emotes lol
And that leads to another issue in Destiny 2 which is that game modes aren't properly explained to newer players
I recently picked up the game again cause I heard it was much better and I'm definitely having a much better time, the only thing that's kind of off for me so far is Exotics feel like so much less of a big deal than Destiny 1, I bought Destiny 2 Witch Queen Deluxe and got 4 free exotics lol.
thanks, that is a really interesting perspective!
yeah I agree with the exotics, they dont feel as special anymore. I will say when I get one to randomly spawn from an enemy, the sound will always be satisfying, even if the stats are dogsht..
I mean to be frank most exotics in d1 we’re unique up until they start collecting dust because no one in their right mind would use them
It was bound to happen eventually.

I agree. The people you met running a spirit bloom run, I’ll treasure those memories
Couldnt disagree more. Nothing worse than coming on because youre wanting to raid or run strikes, but noooo.
You are blinded by nostalga lmfao, mat grinding was fucking horrendous and should never, ever come back.
One of my favorite things was grinding for those materials chatting with a friend
The warlock moves in for ammo but almost dies when, wait a minute, that hunter's running healing grenades? did they switch to them while they were dead and refresh it with orbs or were they doing that from the start?
like, fuckin' bang, you've got this impromptu pseudo-fireteam, no matchmaking needed, you just all happened to be in the same place at the same time and it just *worked out.* Any of you could drop at any moment without a penalty, and it's not like you can wipe or anything, worst case your progress is just slowed, right? so there's no stakes to get mad at each other about, so whatever, laugh when you die to a random box flipping over on you, or when one guy's corpse goes flying past you because he blew himself up with a rocket, or whatever stupid stuff the game usually does
I forgot one eyed mask was an exotic for a moment and thought it was marcostyle

One thing I truly loved about D2 on launch day though is that after reaching level 40, your exp bar would give you 1 free cosmetic engram everytime you'd fill it up and the cosmetics you didn't like could be dismantled for dust. Every cosmetic items could be bought with dust so there was literally no point in paying for cosmetics, you could get every cosmetics in the game just by playing the game and I think that was a really cool system
its really cool but really bad if you want to make money as a company
I remember when bungie got caught secretly throttling XP on those engrams. It was one of bungie's biggest scandals.
Like you’ll pick a hairstyle that looks normal from the front and then it’ll end up being like a mullet where when you see the back it’s just god awful 😂

as a new player who is not familiar with pvp and first person shooter, i got in the game because of my bf, he always told me the story was so cool, so when i started i expected much story and explanations on why we are there, where we are, who we are, and the game logic, weapons, classes , and all this good stuff. but when the tutorial came I was confused but i continued and after i finished some of the first quests I called my bf trying to understand the lore and most importantly the game system ( who is still confusing to me), when he said that a lot of story quests got throw out not to make the game too big I was so disappointed that I now just can't justify myself reading or watching a video of the lore, or just to understand what the is about, like a got the basic just because my bf is a big nerd of the game, but if it wasn't for him I would have gotten so many troubles even just to understand which weapon to keep or which armor stats I should go for. To sum it up the game lacks a proprer tutorial. sorry for bad english, it's not my main language.
I understand not having matchmaking for raids and grandmasters. But dungeons should be matchmaking cmon bungo
One thing I hate is not being able to get shaders from past seasons. Bungie should make it so you can get shaders from previous seasons
Fr. The leviathan shaders are one of the best-looking shaders in the game and you cannot even obtain them because they are vaulted.
Even the armor. Why is the Leviathan armor still there if no one can access it?
iirc I think Xur sells armor from past seasons now, but still no dice on shaders afaik :/
For new players story wise:
The quest kiosk in the tower should double as a cutscene viewer.
@@Mediados THIS TY
@@Mediados A standalone, downloadable singleplayer version of the D1/2 campaign/seasons would be fantastic. whether it links into your account (like cross-save does) one-time to fetch your character or if it's more stripped-down and truly standalone, I think having something like that at all would be great for not only new/returning players, but also for archival purposes. Right now, the content removed from the game only exists in any form we can access because we have people taking video explicitly to preserve it, but video games, as an artform, are about more than just their story scenes and dialogue. The most tragic part of sunsetting content like this is the fact that it is essentially lost to the ether for eternity when long-term preservation is concerned.

good, but when someone just starts invading with full ammo gjallarhorn every 30 secons, it becomes stupidly frustatiing and that is why everyone hates gambit, it almost makes you use that weapon even if you dislike it or feel bad just for using it
I personally love it, I got forsaken a while back, but besides that I’m F2P in D2 and I gotta say, I hate going against some of these wild rocket launchers and line fusion rifles.

I miss having ro go to planets to farm stuff because it actually gave me a reason to visit the planet
The fuck are planets
Every exotic weapon quest always has a tedious crucible step
Thing I hate about Destiny is the DCV, Sunsetting and Microtransactions.
you're right....peer to peer is the biggest pain for me....I don't mind losing or dying, but the opponent must not get hit.....I hope for destiny 3, where the developers will pull their heads out of..... and they start to think and use their heads.
Many xbox players who haven’t upgraded to the Series X are still facing the low fps issue in menus. Things take forever to load in the character screen, and it’s been unchanged since the 30th anniversary update. Nobody is doing anything about it either.
8:21 when you are getting hard scoped by 3 sniper/arby nerds it helps a little, but then when you do peek you instantly get destroyed
The fact cloak of taniks isn’t in d2 yet. I mean he’s been an enemy so many times including a raid boss.
"There are some pvp maps that almost everyone seems to despise"
*Proceeds to list 2 of my all time favourite pvp maps*
In my experience, the opinion if 'everyone' is irrelevant, since 'everyone' is stupid. When it's about maps and those things about personal preference you can hardly make a neutral statement.
What everyone should be hating is Shaw Han, and that filler content of a “New Light” quest, with terrible level design, and recycled, clipping traps.
Red War campaign needs a return, and I prefer it over whatever they replaced it with. I gotta blow through the same old bs every time I make a new character.
They need to bring back the old three items per eververse engram.
Man I haven't even touched destiny since sunsetting.
Destiny 2 "play your way" but make sure you have a scout rifle and pulse on for champions .
What I hate is that they seem afraid to use the words male and female now when making your guardian. Also, referring to my guardian as “they/them”
Am i the only ps 4 player that puts like 20 smg shots and a shotgun body shot into an enemy and deal no damage just to get killed in one shot despite having 100 resiliance aka 40% damage resistance
Hey shadow, love your vids. You should do a video on hidden sniper rifle flinch and how some flinch more than others.
Snipers deserve flinch, you give them even an inch of stability and this whole pvp meta will shift to tf2's aimbot sniper problem.
( btw randomly dying from landing or walking, or jumping has always been a thing, your guardian isn't perfect hes human after all, everyone trips over something ), ill even say it in the fire team telling them my gaurdian tripped
i got my brother to play witch queen with me and he was so annoyed by the blue message boxes that appeared in new light stuff. Took over hud and controls in the middle of quests or fights. It is not a good experience. Also his scout at the end wasnt even the explosive payload roll. It had rampage for some reason. Not sure what thats about
I think people only really hates those maps because familiarity breeds contempt, for a long time we only had those maps so we started to hate them
Dude, beating pre nerf skolas was like shooting up on hero-in. The dopamine that flooded your brain was incredible
Stasis was only balanced after they felt Beyond Light had sold past it's peak. Getting customers money was more important than the player experience. Period. That's it. That's the company making destiny 2 forever and always.
All i want is for the next raid to have a different format than the last 2:
1. Enter the raid (sparrow/darkness raft)
2. Open the door (security/totems)
3. First boss (atraks/caretaker)
4. Jumping puzzle
5. Chaos encounter (taniks phase 1/relic gauntlet)
6. Final boss (taniks/rhulk)
Add another boss encounter, seriously, the format is starting to get repetitive and predictable
Ghost projections, I hate ghost projections, it would be cool if they turned them into eyes so all of the projections you have could be the eye of your ghost instead of stupidly floating their
Jumping puzzles are a weird one. They're so good the first time but honestly hateful after that, other stuff like raid entrances too
I think the only note I have is your “insane flinch” point: you got flinched by a high impact machine gun. Kinda makes sense that it would have a lot of flinch.
Yeah of course lol. I’m not saying finch is bad, I’m just saying it’s frustrating when you’re about to hit a shot and then get severely side flinched
One year later and I think the most hated thing in destiny became destiny itself.
Bungie seriously needs to see a whole dedicated video addressing all the melee issues in this game
Curse of Osiris was one of the best DLCs. That was literally the only season you can get sagiras ghost shell.
FINALLY, this video is gaining some traction
👀 indeed! I didn’t know other people kept track of this sorta thing haha
A ton of these with popular hatred like gambit and the pantheon and Twilight Gap crucible maps... I LOVE those. By far my favorite maps.
6:38 the bird gets really excited lmao
6:26 this is so annoying, like i bought Forsaken when i also bought Beyond Light (when i started playing the game) and recently i decided to start it just to find out i can only do 1 mission from it and not be able to continue it at all
Current most hated thing in Destiny for me is gjallarhorn. It’s 30 bucks, and makes you feel so useless in gambit if you don’t have it. It makes fighting invaders much more difficult and pushes you away from using the entire invading feature if you don’t have it.
Tbh I disagree, there are many other viable invasion weapons other than gjally
Although I agree that the Gjallarhorn is really good for invading, you should try the Heir Apparent. That one is just as good if not better for invading.
