What a lovey story . Wish I could go to the gallery and see the photos in person . What an experience that must of been . Just breathtaking . Thanks for sharing .
I went to Cooperstown last year I went to this museum they had his photograph photos that he took in Africa, and they were very good. He's a good photographer.
... it must have been absolutely terrorizing to try to hit against him he was so dominate graceful and unique wind up he used his great height to full advantage like trying to hit lightning ⚡ I'll never forget that poor pigeon 🕊️ exploding💥 ⚾💨 when his pitch hit it 😳
It's neat to see him at some of the major sporting events in Arizona with a full access pass to take pictures at games. The younger generation doesn't even know who he is or the legend that is him!!!
I hope Randy keeps in touch with the little boy who put his hand on the window!!! He looked like he might really miss you!! I hope you send him that picture!!❤( so nice!!):)
He has the resources to use the best equipment available and go to the best locations on earth but that alone doesn't account for how good Randy's photos are.
I am hopeful this exhibit goes on tour outside of the Phoenix area. I have seen many of the limited run exhibits at the Mall of America in MN and would go see it if it ever gets to the Twin Cities.
Good for him. I'm glad he has this passion for photography, and in doing the creative work he's come up with some excellent images. But just one minor quibble with his comment about the responses being subjective. There's both a subjective and objective element to a good photo. That is, a really good photo has technical and artistic qualities that make it stand out, even if a given viewer doesn't perceive them or appreciate them.
This is ten year old news. He was on Twitter showing his awesome pics and then he just vanished from it. This isn't something he just picked up this year, he's been doing it for a while.
Noticed that they did not show the pitch where he plugged the seagull. Africa is a great place to photograph. And one of my favorite images from there was also a group of boys smiling outside the window of our van!
So why does the headline call it a "new passion"? Indeed, I think in the mid 90s wasn't there a baseball card insert set done that was about his photography?
🤯😳 The Big Unit saw The Clash w The Who ... Wow what a charmed life! Ive heard he is living here in AZ 🌵 best wishes to him i lived in Seattle saw Ms games loved his dominating form w speed in pitching i know he played clean i respect this ⚾ as i was a Cubs fan who dropped MLB like a 🪨 when Sosa's cheating 🐎 and the rest played so damn dirty 🤷🏻♂️
Randy we miss you in baseball 😢😢😢😢

The big unit! Glad he's doing what he love's after baseball.
Man, what a cool dude. Good for Randy. It's great to see him pursuing something he's so obviously passionate about and excelling at it.
Great photos. And not a single selfie among them. Imagine that. It can be done!

Good for Randy. Always nice to see people transition well from one passion to the next. Not everyone is able to discover and/or pursue their passions.
Those are some beautiful amazing images.
His pictures help you savor the moment ❤
Fabulous photos. Loved your work on the mound and now behind the camera. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Randy Johnson - more than meets the eye. He was an artist on the mound. Now he’s an artist behind the camera.

What a neat guy, taking full advantage of the life he was granted.
Beautiful work, Randy. I watched you growing up and you were always the ultimate competitor. I hope to someday see your work firsthand.
Loved this, thank you.
wonderful shots .

My oh my, Big Unit saved the M’s. THX RJ!!!!!
Extraordinary photos! Extraordinary person!
Go Randy, great stuff ❤
Wow, perfection is in how a person sees the World. RJ had it in BB, has it in the cameras lens. ❤
I hope Randy keeps in touch with the little boy who put his hand on the window!!! He looked like he might really miss you!!

Beautiful images! Best wishes, Randy. Glad that you can continue to channel your passion into photographic endeavours.😊

I've seen plenty of people with expensive equipment take the most boring photos. Randy looks legit in photography.
But it helps. A lot.
He hit a bird once with a pitch. Probably would have been a strike too. Greatest sports clip of all time.

This is really incredible, had no idea The Big Unit did photography!
Awesome!
3:47 taking a picture of a picture. thats next level
Wow! Just wow
The Big Unit worked at the Daily Trojan,... I mean come on 😁 But congrats Randy, very nice stuff
😂😂🙈🙈
Awesome
Big Unit! Big Unit! Big Unit!

He still has an active Instagram account that I follow and as a lifelong photographer myself, I'm envious of a lot of his work.
That was literally covered in the video. This is to showcase his new exhibit.
Noticed that they did not show the pitch where he plugged the seagull.

Keep up the excellent work, Randy (and Ken)
He is pretty good.
Randy Johnson, score another victory for the tall guys.
Very cool
Good job Randy! Those African children are beautiful. And you saw the thrill of the great migration. 👍
Great pitcher, ok...Ken Grify and Randy will certainly be great photographers...
I'd imagine he's into bird pictures?
🦅
He loves photography almost as much as he loves Kingsford charcoal
🎉
The expos also drafted Tom Brady
Really? I thought he was a gimmick in Montreal.
@@ManChan-w5p no gimmick, they drafted Tom out of high school in '95 but he opted to go to college at Michigan to play football instead
@@LayersofLife36 poor guy. Came to a sporting crossroads and went with football. I wonder whatever happened to him after Michigan.

He is fortunate to have the money and lifestyle security to travel and enjoy photography.
His accent is quite similar to Ted Nugent’s.
The daily used trojan.
