.02 back to back runs is well within what you need to be competitive in bracket racing. I ran a manual challenger r/t and would have up to .05 variation after dialing the car in.
The 1320 seems to have a bettrer torgue converter. You went to 4000 almost instantly on launch while regular Scats only got to about 3000. A slightly better factory tune and a better converter would give you the 2 or 3 tenths you have on regular Scats.
If I get a muscle car I'll look into the 1320 its unique and will surprise other muscle cars on the street.. might want to lower the tire pressure on the track
I don't think so. Just like the author stated, 2000 RPM on the foot brake is the best option. I have a 2015 Scat Pack and do the same thing the OP is doing and I walked away with this on my time slip: R/T .139, 60' 1.660, 1/8 7.445, mph 93.29. That's 100% stock but the ET Street R's. It's all in learning how to drive your vehicle. Took me all summer to get an 11.612 with that car. The mechanical advantage of the Demon torque converter is not as advantageous as you think it is if you know how to turn off traction control completely and power brake when lining up.
Very nice runs. Especially in that high of DA. I’m hearing people say the 1320 has a different converter then the standardScat pack. Not sure if it’s true.
What are your thoughts on the Nexen tires? I have a 392 that I daily and am up for new rears. Have you used them in the wet and how are they for noise?
I drove mine 300 miles in the mixed conditions including driving rain and was really surprised at how really good these are in the wet. I have 2700 miles on the car and so far, no signs of wear from driving, but I do think that due to heat cycling, they are not as grippy off the line at the track.
Shane Pearson so are you saying, due to heat cycling they are not grippy off the line on the track? Or not grippy off the line on the street? I almost never take mine to the strip, but am looking for a better street tire
@@hatebreed79 I think they have lost the initial softness and therefore some grip. I have noticed it at the track. They seem to be fairly sensitive to heat and pressure, more so than when brand new.
@@aaroncarroll7218 Not everyone has a 1/4 track available to them when they want it. Do you have any videos showing you can beat what DemonChild did with his 1320 under similar conditions?
Seems like the LC worked pretty well.

There's no damn way you could see his launch rpm, and the video is from the scat not the 1320.
You misheard what he said. It was the 1320@@charlesmyers9765
I lower my tire PSI down to about 20-22 on my Demon and it hooks better. Try it, it might work for you too, maybe go down to 25 PSI.

People run 2500 off transbrake and are not spinning why not turn it up to 2700-3000 and see what happens if still sticks nobody ever shows that
If you did launch control that high the nannies would seriously be kicking in.
Nice. Loved how it pulled on that charger. Right there shows it has a better tune and converter. 1/4 mile you would of had 2 to 3 cars on him

challenger is 200 lbs lighter, 1320 even more so. it's like running with a passenger comparing a charger to a challenger

Yes it does same as demon
unless your very well off an can get a redeye, the 1320 bought with cash only,....is only way to go..
I BELIEVE the 1320 has a 3.01 gear. The normal scatpack has a 2.70 gear.
2020 charger scat pack has a 3.09 rear gear

When these are done I will be putting them on again. No problems with them for me wet or dry.
DemonChild thanks for real user feedback!

Has there been any Stock 1320’s that have 60ft under 1.50??
No. Not that I know of.
DemonChild Okay Thanks Man
try adding some NOS
What tire pressure are you running at the track?
How you take a 1320 to an 1/8th mile track? Lol!!!
Unfortunately, that’s what we have regularly open around here. But we did finally make it to the 1/4 mile. Check my other vids.
Did you play with tire pressure???
20 lbs works good on 1/8th mile. On 1/4 mile it’s a little squirrelly on the big end. Will drop max no lower than 22.
Aren’t you afraid that if you mod it you will void your factory warranty? That’s why I haven’t modded my 1320...
I will go only with things I feel have about zero chance of voiding the warranty.
Why use launch control? It pulls major timing
No reason other to test how it does. It actually did better than I thought it would.
@@DemonChild yes I was surprised
What was the da ?
If I remember right it was around 2000
👍👍
Next time do a video on 1/4 mile waist of time running the 1/8 that's why I give this video a 👎
You might want to give yourself a thumbs down for not looking at my other videos.
@@DemonChild I'm good you should give yourself a thumbs down and learn how to drive that mopar
