    Every HEMI V8 whether it's a 5.7, 6.2 or a 6.4 is badass, fast and loud. The only difference is how much are you willing to spend on one. I am in a Mopar Car Club that has RT's, Scat Packs, Hellcats and Demons. Everyone in our club is happy with what they have.

    the main thing i had ran into when i had a 6.1 hemi was finding good mopar shops. When its not the shop its the parts quality. When its not the parts quality it becomes the price. For the amount I put into making my old 2010 SRT8 "688whp".... i made my 2019 Z07 vette 1247whp on its max map setting. They are so expensive or so many odd quirks throughout the drive train that made me double spend sometimes triple spend on labor time and forged parts. People forget how soft their drive trains are even in the new models. But dont get me wrong this kit is godly if it does gain the power reliably and not a nightmare to get installed properly by moderately decent mopar techs or shops. I was always afraid of modding it until i got a hellcat when they dropped the 2nd gen that is. Much easier to get reliable gains with a sturdy drive train. But again them shops aint cheap when i compared them to GM shop labor.
    Most people dont go or are comfortable with anything past 800whp so this isnt advice im giving just opinion on a single owners experience so dont crucify me mopar fellas i still think they kept the most original muscle car feel and look. Plus a mopar was my very first car I will always love them a little more than my corvettes if i can snag a yellow ACR lol

      Have a 6.1 300 and lemme tell you I felt this one man… such a beautiful engine but always something with it and when you wanna run more power like you said you always run into something and if you want quality with a 6.1 you have to pay big money with a LS in a vette few bolt ons and a tune and shell shoot flames past 200,000 miles such a touchy drivetrain with the mopars. A quality cam kit for LS3 is like 600-700 give or take and for a 6.1 over 1,200

      One of the wisest comments I’ve seen. For the price of any Hellcat you can have a super monster of a 392 or 345. I kept my paid off R/T when I got my Redeye & would gladly do as much as I can and learn the car intimately and be proud of something I can build. Yes I love my 800horse factory beast but there’s nothing like building your own to make it your own. Even if you totally screw it up there’s tons of 5.7s laying around since they’re work horse engines you can pull from 80% of Ram pickups & wrecked Charger cop cars for dirt cheap!

    • @BrisLS1
      @BrisLS1 2 месяца назад +4

      Because, like he said in the video, you need heads, tuning and fuel system updates to make this package work. It gets expensive, when you could just go to Carvana and pick up a low mileage Hellcat that was made to put down the power. If you use this aftermarket stuff and your tune flakes out, the whole thing blows up. Every increase in air flow needs a matching increase in fuel. And then there is valve geometry, those valves were not made to open as wide and for long as that CAM will make them open. That puts them in danger. Be careful.

      It’s beyond possible. The platform just cost a lot of money to build on. Before Summitracing even dropped these kits it’s been people building 1,000+hp 5.7’s. It’s the 4.6 of the Dodge world. It’s reliable, but you’re gonna spend a boat load to make power. With the money you’re going to spend I think it makes much more sense to buy this kit for a Durango, but not a Charger, or Challenger. You can get a Hellcat for $40,000-$50,000 used. You’re not getting a Hawk for those prices. So send it bro that Durango is gonna go craaaazy!

    I've been down this route my self with a Procharger on a 2013 Challe 392. Great product. Awesome car. The two didn't optimize together. I spent $10k on the install and upgrades. I'm a minority here, Rubi 392 but I wanted to share. I found out with just 500 hp (headers, cat, chip, tune) on a 4wd chassis, the weak link is the TC (transfer case) when moving slightly out of stock territory. They use dual clutches inside to mitigate the AWD feature safely. You can bypass AWD with taser but it still relies on the stock TC unless you upgrade to Atlas. (7k parts only) So for a Jeep if you bought this kit and it was useable for '21-present, you would need to upgraded everything underneath- driveshafts, tc, brakes.. AND need to forge the bottom end, injectors, oiler, heat exchange etc. You will be +30k deep for this kit plus all the above & labor & tuned. Game over. 130k- used Lambo territory.

You can get the same gain with a stage 1 cam and long tubes without killing the engine. The engine is really optimized to its capacity from the factory. So bigger injectors and can handle the E85 getting all your parts will probably be around 13k then install another 5k and up. Only thing good about it is the fact insurance will be cheaper for the Hp you’re getting

    I’d rather modify the 5.7 because it’s more growth & can handle power better…idk if the 6.4 is modded by a dodge dealer with just boost alone id be scared to drive that thing day to day the 6.4 is a great car when stock it’s cool when modified but I’d rather stick with 5.7 to modify

    Love the channel but think this kit is 100% misleading to someone uninformed on what you really need to make a reliable 5.7/6.4 with 1000+ horsepower. Not to toot my own horn or channel, but I've done it with both the 5.7 and the 6.4 and there is way more involved than just this kit. I know you said it a couple times, but this is not the only modification(s) needed to make the 5.7 or 6.4 reliable at those power levels. They glaze over everything else required or don't even list it. Not only will you need a built engine, injectors, and cooling like they say but all the supporting mods as well. Drop-in pistons/rods, forged crank, dual fuel pump minimum (I am moving to a triple pump set up this winter because I am running out of pump), the HP70 won't handle the torque so that will need to be built or get a transmission that can handle it, axels will need to be upgraded, tuning, etc. etc. The list is long and expensive. It takes a good $15-$20k+ on top of the price of this kit to make either of them even somewhat reliable at 1000+ horsepower. I am with you, I just don't want someone uninformed to think they can get this kit and make a reliable 1000+ horsepower without a significant investment beyond the price of this kit. I believe this is very misleading until they advertise at least some of the other required supporting modifications discussed above. Oh, let's not even begin to talk about the labor involved with not only the kit install but all the supporting mods as well.

      You fucking clowns on here that think the 6.4 is slow. Your retards. It’s a drivers car, I could easily get my 392 to high 11s in a quarter mile. With just tires and a little weight reduction. And your 535i is not stock… the 392 is stock and it pushes a 4200 pound car. if my 392 weight was 3700 pounds. I don’t care if you staged your mama on your 535 you would get smoked. The 392 is a powerful engine.
