I noticed the split second Jynx flash at 16:03, while talking about "Charbroil"! I've been scouring the GI Joe part of my brain, trying to think of a connection. But, I can't come up with anything! Let me know if there's an inside joke there. I always enjoy Justin and Penelope on the show! They would be so much fun to take a walk down memory lane, since I had almost all of the same toys myself as a kid, I was so fortunate my parents got me the popular toys in the 70's and 80's. I had most all the mail in GI Joe figures (and I mean ALL), Brazil, Night Force, and playsets as well. Between my cousin and I, we had crossed off every character in the Joe line until 1990/91. I started high school by then, was a sophomore and stopped buying action figures. I wish I still had them all and hadn't sold them with my He-Man, Star Wars, MASK, Transformers, Ghostbusters, Chuck Norris, COPS, (you name em, I had em!) etc, in a garage sale a when I was 16 or 17. I'd love to have them back! The only thing I've been collecting now is the GI Joe Classified line. I do enjoy them. But, lord do they cost! Can't wait until the Haslab HISS Tank arrives tho! I think that this has been the best episode of Pegwarmers yet. Of course, I haven't yet seen all of the episodes. It kept my interest for the entire 40 minutes. Justin and Penelope were a great addition as guests. Farpoint would be an awesome place to visit. I bet it's as cool as any museum. I've never seen any of the Night Force figures in my area. I can't think of anybody having them when I was a kid. Somebody has to have them tucked away somewhere.
I have a emotional connection with Spearhead. It was one of the last joes I got, and one of the few I have clear memory of getting on the store/pharmacy here in brazil. Night Force was never released here unfortunately.
I very clearly remember first seeing the Night Force collection at Toys R Us…for some reason, both of my parents were with me (toy shopping was usually done with Mom only), so maybe we had just seen a movie together or something. Anyway, I remember thinking “I have most of these figures already” but Mom and Dad bought me the Night Shade, I didn’t already have the S.H.A.R.C. Dad was excited about the glow in the dark decals too! I dont think I actually got any of the Night Force figures though.
Agreed I could listen to Justin Penelope and kevin talk about anything even the reusable sticker sheets which were nonexistent by the time I was a young child in the early 90s
I don't get why they didn't put Low Light in Night Force. Charbroil messin' with the enemy's night vision is a fun idea. I wouldn't wanna be a flamethrower trooper: You just know everey enemy is making it their priority to take you down.
Due to them being on sale on Walmart's website I ordered about 4 Night Force Classified figures. It made me interested in learning about the old line so I was really happy to see you made a video on them.
I don't think any of those made to Europe, but we got some Tiger Force figures you Americans didn't have. Edit: 4 Night force Joes wound up in the Tiger Force overseas: Outback, Psych out, Sneak Peek and Tunnelrat.
I saw Night Force in TRU in the summer of '88 as it was my first time to a TRU when my family was on vacation. I thought they were really cool but passed because they didn't have a Snake Eyes. I ended up getting the Turtle Van instead.
Can't wait ..Night Force and pegwarmers just don't go together too well because basically all the 87 figures were improved apart from Tunnel Rat but look at Crazy Legs and Psyche Out..massive improvement

I had the nightforce killer whale as a kid. It was my brother and mines favorite vehicle.
The Whale is amazing and the black repaint ain't bad.

QUESTION: What's the best paint to touch up black paint on G.I Joe gloved hands ???
I'm not a huge fan of touching up figures, but I always use acrylic paints for customs.

Turtle Van is a good choice! They should have always had a Snake Eyes at retail in the 80's.
