If the watch I'm watching sells, I just look for another one. The madness never ends for me.
I've been relieved when someone outbids me on a watch after a cold shower.
Watches, knives, guns, guitars…the struggle is the same. Always thankful when one I’m watching sells to someone else…the hunt continues.
Thus begins McMahon's obsession with Japanese chef's knives.
Sadly whatever the GOAT says I just check it off as I Have already done it. The addiction is a strong in me.
If it's a watch I'm interested in; I'll put it on my watch list, decide how much is the most I'd comfortably pay, then wait til the end of the auction and bid.
The reasons for this are:
A) No matter how much you bid, there's always some clueless moron who given the chance, will bid more.
B) I avoid getting in a bidding war.
C) I either win it or I don't. I don't have time to beat myself up over it. Or second guess myself.
If for some reason I miss the end of the auction? We'll, I guess it wasn't meant to be, and I didn't run the price up on the winner.

Over here at Soothing Meadows I have one watch, I’m on the hot pocket meal plan and I’m very happy.
I love the original Tropic strap except for the strong vanilla scent. That’s why I don’t wear it as much as I’d like to. Super comfy strap.
I wonder if the vanilla scent could cause some skin irritation.

Wow I had this problem recently, I struggled with a BB41 monochrome on ebay which I wanted but also didnt want. I got lucky as I purchased it and It failed ebays authentication due to not being in the condition described. Ebay gave me a choice go ahead with the purchase or cancel and get a full refund. I couldn't click on refund quick enough and what relief I felt knowing I ecsaped unscathed.
McMahon, you hit the nail on the head. I ran into this earlier in the week.
I have been sorta-kinda-not really looking at Omega Planet Ocean 42mms. Whether it be the older ones from the mid 2000s, or the newer master co-axial ones, I've been looking on the secondary market every so often. I found a fairly good deal on one located here in the US, so I wouldn't need to deal with customs, or international communication.
Well, I saw it on Friday of last week. I told myself that I'd wait over the long holiday weekend, and if that I'd buy it if it was still there on Tuesday. Well, I woke up, checked the site, and it had sold. The way I look at it, some lucky person saved me $3900 bucks, so I'm content with that. Truthfully, I have trouble with wanting to buy another mechanical watch, as I'm just so in love with my SMP300 grail watch.
My GF and I love cooking. It's one of our couple's passion things, where we eat most of our meals together, and cooked. I made us protein pancakes with bananas and Fairlife no-fat milk this morning after we returned from lifting at the gym. Was delicious after my back day, and her leg day.

Good plan to focus more on the family’s cuisine. I’d go for basics like chili, meat loaf, and tacos. Hard to balance with the diet though. I feel your pain on that one. On another note, just got the Casio GW-5000u and am really excited. It’s understated in a good way, for me at least.

But, I have a pretty good idea that there is a watch purchase on the horizon when I'm on Amazon, making routine household purchases, and I get sidetracked by the random watches they are showing me along with all the other needless stuff.
Knowing that you have a watch addiction is the first step in recovery.

Be careful you don't want to go down the kitchen gadget, equipment, cookbook rabbit hole. Wolf ranges and german knifes can do alot of damage.

Will I still enjoy watching each and every one of your videos you have excellent content but as I watch them I just looked down at my Seiko SLA 047 and know that I found the ultimate dive watch

Yeah I’d be torn between the two, have a turtle myself and thought maybe go for the 55 because it would be more different but it looks blingy compared to the simple and nice 51! Love to hear what you’ve to say
