- Me using a bunch of old and some newer rigs during SKN and having qsos.
First up is a Luftwaffe EK and SK, next up is a Swedish army RA200. After that is a homebrew affair for transmitter, and a BC348 receiver followed by two small qrp rigs. An lnr precision MTR4B, and a kit built soda pop 2 single band transceiver. The finale is the clunky ART-13 having a qso all the way to England on 80m.
Hope you enjoy.
Very nice, much respect. A great teacher. Excellent videos. Greetings from the Czech republic.
Thanks for the nice video.
Very good that you have subtitles that tell what is happening.
Lots of different radios too.
Thanks for the video.

Nice operation Tommy. I wish I could have room for this kind of "things". I have just a small place for my vintage rig/line.
The power supply capacitors sound bad in the first rig. This allows the AC power line (mains) input frequency (50 or 60hz) to be superimposed on the much higher oscillator frequency, resulting in the distinctive growling note that we are hearing in this video. Other power supply issues could cause this behavior, but it is usually bad capacitors. 73
Mesmerizing… Really wonderful video, of the addictive kind! 73 de Nando EA4BB

where can i buy this key?thank you!
It's a swedish military practice key called TC15223.
I bought mine at a hamfest here in sweden.
Why does it sound funny? I don't mean to be condescending, I'm genuinely curious why it sounds like that and not a pure sine tone
