Vintage SSB station. CE20A, 813s, and Collins receiver
Просмотров 632Год назад
Thanks for checking out my stuff. I have recently got this old Central Electronics 20A on air after a bit of repairs and aligments. Puts out about 10-12W, feeding an old (70's built) dual 813 linear. Skip ahead to the tune up and the QSO´s if dont want to listen to me talking. Thanks for watching

20m AM qsos using Collins ART-13
Просмотров 1,5 тыс.Год назад
Don´t be limited to 80m AM with your older gear. There´s almost always someone on 14330 or thereabout. In this video I´m using my Collins ART-13 transmitter and Collins 75A-4 receiver on 20m. The transmitter puts out about 110W carrier, which does a great job getting into the UK from Sweden.

Elecraft KX2 hardcase

I found the perfect hardcase for my Elecraft KX2, which is roomy enough to let the KXPD2 paddle still be attached, yet small enough to slip into my backpack without taking up too much space. Case is a Seahorse SE56. Make sure to buy one without the rubber liner, or else the transceiver with attached paddle will be too large. Thanks for checking this out. Cw qso on a 3d printed tube transmitter.

      @@МихаилМихаил-б6я И ГУ-13 это RCA-813 потом стала ГК-71. Много ламп ссср это полные копии американских.

    • @МихаилМихаил-б6я
      @МихаилМихаил-б6я Месяц назад

      @erwe1054 Гу13 это совсем другая лампа. Не путай с лампой ГК-71. Посмотри их параметры для сравнения и поймёшь, что это разные лампы. В некоторых случаях можно ГК-71 заменить на ГУ-13 , но при этом потеряешь в выходной мощности.Вот для сравнения несколько параметров этих ламп. ГК-71. напряжение накала 20вольт, напряжения анода 1500 Вольт, напряжение второй сетки 400 Вольт, напряжение третьей сетки 50Вольт, ток анода 250мА. Теперь лампа ГУ-13. Напряжение накала 10Вольт, напряжение анода 2000 Вольт, напряжение второй сетки 400Вольт, ток анода 50мА. Остальные параметры смотри в справочнике по электронным лампам.

      @erwe1054 Месяц назад

      @@МихаилМихаил-б6я Да ты прав, гу-13 не полная копия бит в бит но понятно откуда ноги растут. ГК-71 как раз ставилась в рсб чтоб кинуть накал на бортовое питание 27 вольт а гу-13 переработанный вариант с низким напряжением накала.

      Now I understand!!! Makes total sense. Being this radio a Regen, made them easily detectable, as Regens produce a small amount of RF, even when receiving! That made them easy to locate for the sensitive Radio DIrection Finding equipment used by their enemy. Understood. Tks. 73 Rob, YS1RS

    • @SA2CLC

      Correct. I have a single transistor oscillator built into the power supply used for "spotting" the transmitter in the receiver. Only thing is I'm not spotting the transmitter, but rather the crystal frequency.
