- What more could I possibly say about this absolute, bone fide classic? It is heaven itself: a pastoral heaven, where the prettiness of the fields and meadows and streams is always contrasted with the physicality of the forces that cause them to keep living, season after season. How utterly wonderful that the oldest perfume still in existence should also be one of the greatest we've ever been gifted by the scented gods. A masterpiece.
