I really like the styling of the Camry. Some make fun of the plain, vanilla styling but vanilla is good. I'm 35 and I could definitely see myself in a Camry. They're reliable, durable and its a Toyota. It'll run forever. Good review as always Dave! :-)
I really like this David guy. He is kinda honest at the same time doesn't go like oh Toyota is the best and other competition sucks. He knows his stuff and very interesting to talk with and listen to.

I am Gen Y. I have never owned a Camry or really thought about buying Camry before this used 2015 I just bought before this. I have the base model I believe which is an Ellie. I am completely satisfied with the entire car apart from one thing I think. Who doesn't want standard navigation? I'm not a technical guy really and I don't know what the cost would be but if you would throw that into the base model, but navigation is key in this day and age and even in 2015 when this car was released. I considered other vehicles solely based on the navigation and Technical aspects of the car even though the Camry was a better car obviously. I bought the used Camry because I got an exceptional deal but just do yourself a favor and make navigation standard. I say this knowing that I already bought one and I can't get it. But it seems like a great car to me so far and you could make a great car excellent even at base models by doing a simple little thing like this or maybe some other things you could do that I can't think of at this moment, but navigation uneven the base models would certainly tip me to the side of Camry everytime after driving it, especially being a touring musician. This car can haul some musical gear. Don't miss an opportunity
Have 2015 SE. Purchased new. 35 mpg on average. Yes tech dated at this point but still a damn fun car to daily drive and own. Can’t go wrong with a Toyota.
I just got a 2015 Camry SE on July 4th. I wasn't really interested in a Camry, and never thought I would get a Camry, but I got an amazing deal on it and it was too good to pass up (I got the mid-tier Camry for less than a base model Corolla). Now that I have it, I absolutely love it. I've only had it for a few days now, but so far I'm extremely happy that I got it. The new design is very stylish, and the SE model adds a more youthful and sporty look. It has decent features and good fuel economy, and the ride is smooth and sexy. The only thing I would advise to anyone who gets or is interesting in getting a Camry, replace the tires ASAP if it has the Bridgestone Turanza's on it. Those tires are some of the worst rated tires on Tire Rack. They received a rating of "unacceptable" on both ice and snow traction, a very low rating on wet traction, the tread wears out quickly, and they are very loud tires. They did not receive a good rating in any category.
Defx10 I agree with you. I have a black 2015 SE Camry. The Bridgestones are way too loud!! I will replace them soon they wear out some more. I have seen some 2015's on the lot with Michellins on them. I love the car!
teeemack I'm going to be replacing mine as soon as I get the chance. I rode in the rain for the first time 2 days ago. It was very uncomfortable and there was a lot of slippage. I have no faith in those tires on wet surfaces. I'm not sure how such a terribly unsafe tire was chosen as the stock tire for such a great car. Toyota should recall all the Camry's with the Bridgestones and replace them with the Michelins.
Defx10 I am like you I never would've considered the Camry but Toyota is having some good deals right now and after seeing videos and reading about the car the SE is appealing to me. I am going to check this car out this weekend.

Appreciate your work Dave! I think Toyota is thinking oppositely of what their consumers want in emotional appeal and innovation. Reliability is the only main point that they are still making up until this very day. And bringing near decade old tech/design at a competitive pricing. Let's see what they have to bring in the next redesign.
5:45 "much more capable when you want to push it" this fried my brain when put in context of a camry. it just it-just...hurts to think of pushing a camry. I think HUGE understeering mess, are they saying that at limits the new camry has the proclivity of character? if I took it to willow I could get some avocation or sport from it? im having a hard time with the word "capable" I think maybe he means feels more spritely during everyday driving?
Thank you dave for making a nice review about this car you made it look good even if it might not be the most stylish car ever you should do a review in Moses Lake wa sometime
Looks like Toyota just gave up on the back end. It's even worse without the lip spoiler. When I see Camry on the road the majority of them are SE models.
I like the looks on the inside, just not so sure I like the outside. Going to have to go to a dealership to see if an up close view will change my opinion.
I would have loved if you gave your own opinion I'm thinking about getting one and I always look to your videos for feedback and your honest opinion on any vehicle so I'm kinda bummed :/
Dave, thank you for the video, but as another viewer here also commented, you didn't really give us your opinion on this camry, unlike for example another review you did on a 5 series BMW. You don't seem to have liked it too much, did you? (I'm not too fond of the exterior honestly). What did you think of it? Thanks Dave.
I had a 2011 Toyota Camry SE V6 and I loved the styling and sportiness of the car, but the new Camry does not look sporty and the front end is a complete fail.
Dave, why did Toyota not include the sideview mirrors with the integrated turn signals on the Camry redesign? I thought that was a big omission by them considering the fact that they offer them on pretty much every other model in their lineup. I've owned 3 Camrys and I bought a 2012 Camry SE, but leaving that off of the new vehicle was a deliberate omission and hurts them when you couple it with the fact that all of their competitors offer that as an option on their vehicles. Toyota makes a superior product, in my opinion, but they're content to get their ass kicked on the tech end. It never fails. In Texas I believe they call that " sucking hind' tit! "
Sorry but I don't like the styling of this. Camry. I will say it looks better on the Corolla. And why are the rims tiny? Kia optimum and Mazda 6 look WAYYY better than this. Good review though.
"to help you the everyman driver make the best possible decision before visiting a dealership or stepping unto a showroom floor." (Dave) I quote you Dave to convey how this camry "review" goes against your philosophy about this channel. I felt like I was at a toyota showroom floor & not getting an objective opinion from you. I will be checking "Cnet Cars" or "The Redline" to see what their unbiased opinions are.
Oliver Green Let's put this into context since the video you're referring to is a "FIRST DRIVE" video. The full quote, "Each week tens of thousands of viewers join me as I drive and review the newest and coolest cars and trucks on the road today with an honest, constructive and informative approach to help you, the Everyman Driver, make the best possible buying decision before every visiting a dealership or stepping onto a showroom floor. My detailed and upbeat reviews cover engine and performance, real-world mpg's, ride and handling, interior and exterior styling, leg room and head room, cargo space and overall utility." Oliver, I think you missed the last sentence when I say my "DETAILED reviews cover ride and handling. Since this was a FIRST DRIVE, I like to reserve my ride and handling impressions. I completely understand your knee jerk reaction to judge me on omitting that element in this video and I will try better next time to give you my first impressions after only spending a few minutes with the vehicle verses waiting after a full week testing and driving it. Thanks again for your comment and I hope you find what you're looking for on "Cnet Cars" or "The Redline". Maybe check out "TFLcar" too. - Dave
OFFER A MANUAL TRANSMISSION and V6 and/or Offer a Diesel in the USA! Chevy and VW and Mazda offer a diesel! In the 80s Camry did offer a diesel in a Camry and Cressida! Toyota made an awesome Diesel!
dude .... i totally appreciate your work ... but i TOTALLY disliked this video .... it's not following your standards. I'm here for your outstanding opinions. This time .. i just saw a guy seated right by your side with a bunch of blablababalbablabababal
"Let's go places"...the only place I'm going in that Camry is back to the Toyota dealership to hand the keys back to the sales team...too much bland, even for Toyota standards...
Why cant you say how the car feels, and drives? Go over the engine specs, seats, visibility etc etc we dont want to hear a toyota rep tell us what he thinks about it.Your videos are annoying now
The front looks OK, but good God that rear end is ugly! It looks like a Lexus and a Corolla had an ugly baby. That fake plastic on the rear side windows doesn't help either. :P
This Camry certainly looks better than the 2013/2014 model it replaces. This new exterior certainly put the Camry on my shopping list, next to the Accord.
***** I find it unlikely that Honda and Toyota motors are subsidized by the Japanese government. I however prefer Toyota and Honda due to their excellent reliability. I had many problems with my first few American cars(GM, Ford), so I prefer not to buy them any more. But, I do not want GM, Ford, or Chrysler to go Bankrupt either. More competition is good for us consumers. I do not share the hate Nathan have for American cars.
Let's face it. The Camry will never be "exciting." Enough said. Oh, one other thing, if they didn't include fleet sales, the Camry would maybe not rate where it does on the bestseller list.

Is it a v6 or 4 cylinder SE? I’m looking for a v6 XLE or XSE for that laminated front glass on the v6 models
Im glad I bought a comfort tune version camry
I just got a 2015 Camry SE on July 4th. The window switches are finally lighted now 🙌
I would've never considered a Camry for my next car purchase, but the new XSE looks very nice. I will have to put that on my short list.

I didn't realize how the 2015 Camry body style is the same as the 2017 body style.
Great job Dave. Very interesting video. Thank you.
I appreciate it, thank you - Dave
Guess I can't stop. I see they have not gotten rid of the jerky gear shift. BTW, I owned a 2011 Camry for almost two years. I gave it a try.
Thank you dave for making a nice review about this car you made it look good even if it might not be the most stylish car ever you should do a review in Moses Lake wa sometime

Looks like Toyota just gave up on the back end. It's even worse without the lip spoiler.

Sweet, thanks Dave.
Look like an 09-12 Camry but with remodel head and tail lamp
Which consumers were they asking? In this case, this was the wrong consumer group.
The rear looks like the lexus es
For gods sake Dave, keeps your hands on the wheel while the car is in motion!
I promise you, I was being safe, but thank you for the reminder :-) Dave
4:55 hyundai didn't restyle theer car like toyota did to compete with hyundai but hyundai just came out with a brand new car :P
i think its about time camry makes a v8
I had a 2011 Toyota Camry SE V6 and I loved the styling and sportiness of the car, but the new Camry does not look sporty and the front end is a complete fail.
ANYBODY GOT THIS VEHICLE TODAY? IM LOOKING TO BUY ONE AND ILL BE HAPPY TO HEAR ABOUT THE VEHICLE

ugh not another Toyota marketing division spoon-fed sit-in review.
All talk! Didn't show enough of the car!
Sorry but I don't like the styling of this. Camry. I will say it looks better on the Corolla. And why are the rims tiny? Kia optimum and Mazda 6 look WAYYY better than this. Good review though.

Dave, are you married to Melissa? Just wondering.
Honestly KIA optima still has got them beat
Ethan Huynh so..
They totally recycled the look of the back of the 2005 Lexus ES and added a cheap metal thing. looks really bad
The front looks OK, but good God that rear end is ugly! It looks like a Lexus and a Corolla had an ugly baby. That fake plastic on the rear side windows doesn't help either. :P

Oh, the ignorance lol!
The Camry is good enough for me.
It lacks character, it looks like a fat Corolla
Toyota camry is getting ugliest every year.
Ethan Huynh I prefer the Honda Accord better
