Now this how an Alb Commander fights. This is why I love PB games. You can't button mash and expect to win. There is a strategy and mastery of combat you need to observe, learn and apply.
Now that Elex 2 is almost upon us, I suppose it is time for me to dust up my Elex 1. Great Elex vid Sir as always.

Do they increase stamina permanently? I never even bothered to check :O I always made only elex potions to increase my stats
I blundered into that place while exploring. I killed two of the Trained Jackals and everyone ganged up on me and Duras. We bailed and ran like our hair was on fire to get away. I have to buff up and go back soon to give a little pay-back.
+Tremolux Man I miss Duras. You can pull them out and kite them around the building if you're having trouble.
Yes, I like to kite mobs if I can. Especially Reavers. Don't like them at all. Spread them out and take them down. Used the tactic a lot in Gothic 1, 2, and 3. I liked to find a high perch where enemies couldn't reach me and then snipe them with a bow. Orcs were tough.
Great stuff! I just got a char to level 10 for the clerics trying rifles as I am bad in melee. Played all gothics and risens this is a bit more challenging. Want to roll an outlaw now with a bit of melee following your tips and grenade launcher/shotgun. Can you make a video about builds? I am not sure what talents are worth taking and what are a waste. Thank you!
Tnx! Try to stick around with a shield at the beginning, it will help a lot. Attack Strength, Parry Strength, and Melee Weapons abilities are great for any melee build in general. Parry Strength is great even if you're not a melee character. I'll do a video about builds for sure.
Was trying to craft a build that uses a heavy weapon (like nade launcher) as well as a melee weapon :P
That should be easily achievable since both require strength as primary stat.
For a cleric with his gun as primary:
Use plasma rifle and not laser gun or flamethrower.
Learn the skill "one with the weapon"
Use the plasma ball fire mode
activate skill before battle and than aim for the legs of the enemy or the chest on larger ones.
Easymode even on ultra, as long as you dont run out of ammo.
If you are looking for a 'closer' range weapon I suggest the flamethrower as long as you don't get too close you can get easy kills as it knocks over enemies and burns them. For longer ranges I suggest if you are a paladin beserker use the war bow III because it's very powerful and doesn't require too many attributes. If your looking for melee my largest suggestion would be a antique sword if you are at a lower skill ratio or a venom bite for the radiation damage. Hope I helped :)

Didn´t you plan to make a bow focused char? For me Mele is just too much fun to not go for it. Don´t know what faction though. cleric is Favorite for now, although berserker is strongest in mele. What do you think?

+Eisenecke I'm planning to do a couple of let's plays, but they require a lot of time which I'm lacking right now. Yes, my character is dexterity based / bow based, but I use Ignis a lot since it's a 2h weapon that requires high dexterity. I know what you mean, the game is really big.

It seems to affect any weapon in the 'Gun' category, as it's happened several times to me with my a shotgun, but never with the heavy weapons I use (flamethrower, wrath rocket launcher).
It happens to me a lot, not just with the ranged weapons, with any weapon really, and only way to ''unbugg'' is to let the enemy hit you. Or sometimes, I'm just stuck in running mode, and can't stop, lol.

did that reaver fort too. the only thing i had problems with was Lone Tuckers grenade launcher. i love those explosive weapons. especially my Plama rifle's Plasma ball mode. but i really hate it to be on the recieving end of such weapons...
Anyways! nice one. especially if i consider difficulty and that you had not superior equipment.
Try the one berzerker quest to clear the pass between tavar and edan on your own! that's much harder. narrow paths and a lot of enemies.
+Ric Walker I can't wait to use plasma rifle on the next playthrough. Oh I know that quest, but that was really easy since bunch of berserkers were with me. If we're thinking of the same quest.
Have you taken on that group of two mutants, a Cyclops, a rotboar, and moloch in Edan yet? I did it with war bow II and switched to melee after there were only 2 of them left, to have enough stamina to dodge. It's one of the tougher fights out there

Click4Gameplay It's easier to just jump jet dodge their charge instead of rolling, and you can use jump jet attack to reengage.. Just have to be careful and make it the priority
