🤣The opening skit is pure class man. Just got my Rolux 20 in black.... You know the special color?!? I hope you get your black one soon man. They look super slick. Also, I hope they listen to you when you call it a grooved and not ribbed front roller.
I would add that the Toro reel can be swapped to an 8-blade, and also they have a clip kit that will adjust the reel FOC so that the cut quality is better at the higher HOC limits of the machine settings. Thanks for the comparison video 👍 Other attachments that you can get for the Toro include a groomer and an out-front brush kit.
I will be getting the rolux here in the States next month. I have kentucky bluegrass like you. Should would u recommend the 6 blade or the 9. Love your content. Am from Ghana living in South Carolina
So awesome to hear the surgeries have gone well for the little fella Merrick. Never easy watching them go through all that. What do you think of the new throttle system on the professional? Any better or worse than the old lever style?
Thanks so much man. Was a tough past 12 months. Uhm I'm a little bit undecided. I never had issues with the lever one. But I believe some users had an issue with the spring pulling it back to idle. So I would assume this just works more reliable. What are your thoughts?
Yes it will. I would just order the greens bottom blade. But they do also make a greens machine. So i would just find out what they use different on the greens machine compared to the yard machine. But I would assume it's only the bottom blade and maybe the sole plate.
@@salawn im also going to be cutting my yard with it so I want it to cut both would I still need the greens bottom blade and how high HOC could you go to for the yard before it starts to look bad with the 12 blade.
no wonder the SADF was unstoppable. if blokes were just half as competent as this. all i hear is terrible news about non blacks in south africa lately :( . god bless you all and stay safe.
After getting the Rev 26 and comparing it to my GM2100 I can’t really tell a difference and I can get the Rev26 in tighter spaces and slopes are a breeze unlike the GM
Well so far the Rolux Professionals have lasted over 50 years. My guess is you’ve never used one but you’re entitled to your opinion though. How about a very large bet?

Ahh that's awesome I wasn't even aware of that. I must say, I dont think I will change the blade for now. This Toro cuts my green like a dream.

Hey man been watching for a while this is one of your best videos yet keep up the good work.
💪😜🤙
Another awesome video. Very informative 👍🏻👍🏻
I always crack up on on the "REEL MOWER" part!

@@salawn Yep thats the issue I had with mine. Eventually, after many adjustments and tweaks though it seems to now be ok.
Do the you think the rolux 12 blade at 4mm would work good on a putting green. Thanks

I’m thinking of buying a Rolux should Iget a 6 or 9 blade
Depends how tall you mow. If you mow above 10mm I would say the 6 blade. So cool with the blades throwing the clippings straight down the middle .
Thats a "reel" cool vid Merrick 😜
🤣
Great job Merrick. Bollywood beckons
Rolux is the best thing to happen to the US from SA since Elon Musk. I take that back. Best thing since Trevor Noah!
Surely there’s a new song to come out… called “Reel Mower”
😂😂😂 . Now thats a good idea.
Lekker vid!
Thanks
Rolux looks like a 22r upgrade

Thanks man. Much appreciated 🙏🏻. Thanks for watching..
I will take my 20yr old Greensmaster 1600 over a residential mower any day.

The Toro is over 20 Years Old. I will Guarantee the cheap Rolux will not last 20 Years. Your comparison are apples to oranges. Rolux is Junk.
I obviously said something about the Toro you didn't like? And I also assume you are not happy with your Rolux?

@theturftamer have you ever tested a Rolux?
I guess all the people using the same mower for 30+ years with zero issues, are all rubish as well right? What a champ!
Interesting comment, I have a Professional built in 1977 and it still runs fine. Have you actually used one. Seems a bit like a throw away comment.
