Hello, i need your help with my spouse's ILR application. I am kind of getting confused with date of application due to ILR calculator I used online and the 28 days before visa expires. I got the visa on 12/11/2019. My first entry into UK was 20/11 1/2019. This visa expires 15/02/25. When i used the calculator, it said earliest application should be 14/10/24 and it expires 11/11/24. But if I count 28 days away from 15/02/25. it will be diferent. Could you kindly help out with this?. I took A1 English test before coming into the uk and A2 before my FLR application, do I need to take the B1 test of English? Thanks
My wife’s Spouse / Partner Leave To Remain BRP card expires on 22nd April 2024 and she has been in the UK since 19th January 2019. Her Visa on the passport states as (Standard) Which is the 5 Year route. Initially my wife received her 1st BRP when entered in UK on 19th January 2019 and the BRP was dated from 20 December 2018 with status for "Leave To Enter". How early can my wife apply for the ILR application prior to the expiry date of her current Leave To Remain status? My wife has been out of UK from 11th September 2022 and returned back to UK on the 6th April 2023. The reason for the long stay during this period was due to Medical Treatment and we have all the medical letters signed by the Doctors for evidence which can be submitted during the ILR Application. Will she still be eligible to apply for the ILR ? I am British Citizen Passport holder and our son was born in UK as well.
Thanks a lot for making these wonderful videos. I have a question - I am on skilled worker visa and have arrived London 6 weeks back. I have a wife and two kids aged 16 and 21. All are dependent on me financially. Can all apply under dependent visa? Also if they do not remain in UK for 180 days in one calendar year, is it ok ? I hope it won’t impact my ILR process? Another question is for my elder kid who is 21 years old. If the answer to her dependent visa is yes, can she do internship from UK if we get some company that agree to offer internship? If the answer to her dependent visa is no then what is the other way for her to come to UK for internship ? Thanks in advance
Sir the ILR rules are same for dependents of Sole representative visa holders? Like if a sole rep visa holder brings his all dependents in his 3rd year of ILR and then they stay continuous till 5th Year of ILR. In this case, Can the dependents also qualify for ILR with the main applicant OR they have to complete 5 years in UK to qualify??
Could you be kind enough to tell me whether the 12 month period is calculated on a calendar year basis i:e 1st January to 31st December or the fiscal year basis i:e 5th April to 6th April?
