- Hearthstone | Arena is supposed to be a place where cards like Chillwind Yeti reign supreme. This isn`t that video however. Note that a lot of the time you get crushed by turn 3-4 just because of very mana efficient curves from aggro decks. Its fairly easy and somewhat consistent to construct those type of decks so those games are not included.

Why is Kripp always so nice and happy during the spoken introduction, and so angry and salty during actual matches?

Salty and angry are his real personality ( i think ), but he cant be like that in his introduction or people will think he dont like the audience.

huldu A missplay is a play you do on mistake because you didnt analyze perfect the board,the damage you can deal,your mana and the cost of mana your cards have.It may really happen if youre bming,somehow,if youre not really that concentrated on what you must do to really win when u bm.Happens to me everyday.Hope i helped you :D

He's unbeatable and rides away to 12 wins easy peasy

You get a series of constant 1/2 drops and maybe a single Fireball if you're lucky
Enjoy your 2 wins/3 losses and 25 gold
Indraroh or if you ever get a legendary you get fucked over by facehuntards and other tardy decks, because skill was never an option in arena.. you either rekt or get rekt by rngesus, my saltiness lvl goes over 9000 when I play bullshit arena :(

If you play arena willingly, you're signing a unspoken agreement; submiting your body and soul to the almighty RNGesus, in which you give away your right to use words like: Topdeck, Unfair, and you replace them with the word "luck". So please stop all this unjustified whinning. In HS there's nothing more just than RNG, as long as it's in both sides; this creates an equality of condition; that is exactly what arena is and it starts the second you start drafting.

That warlock deck was actually INSANE
Well if we are talking about craziest arena decks i should share mine: i had 2 legendaries dr.boom and tirion in my paladin arena deck. Deck was also OP without those cards at the beginning. I went 12-1 in arena with that deck. Only lose was to crazy warlock deck(it was nearly same as Kripp showed in video). In couple games when i played Dr.Balanced at turn 7 and Tirion at turn 8 people just roped to the end.

He could have just ran his knife juggeler in to the acolyte in the second game, that way it sould only take damage once and only draw one card. Stormpike would still kill the 4/2 and he would get the knife on the face instead of the acolyte. No reason to give that card draw unless you were that desperate for your divine shield..

If both knifes hit it would have been lethal.
SSJ3Goku69 he played that way because if the knifes hit face twice he would have had lethal. you can call it a risky play, but it was a play to win.

Thank you for taking the first 2 minutes to explain repeatedly what your video is about. I missed the title and really needed it told to me over and over and over again for 2 straight minutes.
I once played against a mage in arena. He used unstable portal at turn 2 and got emperor thaurissian in it. He also had (believe it or not) Antonidas, ysera and one other legendary (think it was onyxia) in his deck. I barely won because of lucky defender of argus top deck.
I fought a pretty crazy deck yesterday.
Was playing my Classic Mage deck (no Naxx/GvG/Blackrock cards). Faced a rogue. Wasn't too threatened, until she started making me draw cards. No biggie, right? Then she coppied her cards and stacked her deck... constantly healing, and she kept making me draw more cards. And more cards. AND MORE. I get so many cards, they blow up in my hand. My deck runs out. I get a few cards to the field, and even some good hits, but she's constantly healing and making me draw more cards. I eventually fatigue myself to death. It was devious!
This deck is pretty standard, and it is called mill rogue.
The double cenarius was the best. 1 in 1 xD
When players who constantly pull 10 to 12 wins in Arena complain about their opponents sometimes having better decks / more luck... seriously?

I once played against a mage, it was either 10-0 or 11-0 and I had a really solid paladin deck, but his deck was beyond crazy. He had a really awesome start and mid game, obviously all the removal, flamestrikes and good creatures with mech synergy, but it got really stupid, when he played Dr. Boom followed by coin+Ysera followed by topdecked Ragnaross
I'm not sure if you knew, but you can right click to cancel a card action instead of what you press on the keyboard.

Had a deck with 2 Kel'Thuzad once, several of my opponents just left when I dropped the second one. I ended up with only 10 wins though - because the deck was too slow overall.

this one arena run i had a shaman played doomhammer, next turn nefarian and next turn 2 deadly poisons...
I just recently won 12-1 Paladin with 4 consecrations and 2 equalities. No legendaries, but the deck itself was extremely powerful.
The most wicked deck i've met in played against in arena had two tirion and all averege+ quality cards. I got him 3 off lethal but at the end 2 tirion are simply too hard to beat

That said, was the 7 flamestrikes in here? I didn't watch it all through, but I scanned and I don't think I saw it.
I drafted 3 unstable portals and went 12-1. Was my funniest arena run ever, got so many good legendaries out of them. Like Ragnaros and Cenarius in the same game. Ysera on turn 6 without any answers, and so on :p

Some days ago I drafted a Paladin deck. I thought it was superb with Sylwanas, Tyrion, Boldvar and a really good avarage card quality, but a demon lock with bane of doom-Malganis and an insane mage stopped me. I told the mage: "You already used 3 fireballs and 1 poly and the board is still mine. I can't lose." I was in 24. Next turn fireball-fireball-frostbolt face. And the turn after that: Pyroblast.
Double Cenarius in arena is actually the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen in Hearthstone.

I recently had an imp gang boss/voidcaller into malganis, he then played a dread infernal which proc'd the imp gang boss summoning a 3/3 imp each time.
1st turn: coin mechwraper
2nd:mechwraper+ annoyotron
3rd:shredder (one mechwraper down)
4:goblin blastmage (wrecked me)
7th: archmage antonidas ( /I suicided my hole board on it before he gets a fireball)
8th: ragnaros WELL PLAYED, I CONCEDE TO YOU
Recently had the most ridiculous shaman draft I ever had:
3 Unbound Elementals and 11 overload cards, which were:
2 Stormforged Axe
2 Crackle
1 Feral Spirit
5 (YES, FIVE) Fireguard destroyer
1 Earth Elemental
the worst card was windspeaker.
So happy to even once have experienced such a thing.

lol @ that Warlock deck. Kripp is right you know, when someone drafts basically a constructed+ (because it's a constructed deck not limited to 2 per card) it's going to almost always stomp in arena.

Her opening was, Mana wyrm, coin mirror imgaes, i had to pass cus no 2 drops in hand. Turn 2 she does unstable portal, turn 3 plays piloted Sky golem(epic 6drop) from portal...
@ 24:00 why not flip the keeper and then fork lightning? or would that have left too little on the board?
Found a Warlock with at least 4 Imp Gang boss's and Malganis yesterday, that was loooooads of fun to play against.

I had this really cool arena mage deck with 2 flamestrikes and an Onyxia that stomped house for me. To work up to the stomping I had a dragon/ mech combo of 6 dragons and 5 mechs that revolved around Blackwing Corrupter and the mech proc Battlemage mage card, that with a fireball did some really good damage to whatever needed to disapear.
Instead of draw I used 2 duplicates and an Echo of Medivh to get the cards that I needed from the field. My first 12 arena wins ever, second and third game were a loss so that was 11 wins simultaneously on the edge. Pretty proud of it ^^
The mana costs peaked at 2 with a slightly smaller peak at 4. I also liked to combine Spellslinger with a Counterspell from my deck, to counter whatever spell he got from it.
Even got called cancer by one of my opponents adding me and then quickly removing me. That can only mean that I must've done something *Really* right to make people *So* mad. :)

The other day I was up against a Paladin at 10 wins, and he played Dr. Boom on turn 7, then Tirion Fordring on turn 8.
I'm not even mad, that's amazing.
Once had a mage play against me Nefarian, followed by Malygos, followed by Chromaggus... Three turns in a row, no joke.

Yesterday I went against a Druid that did first turn coin innervate astral communion, I had a very strong deck though, still won, I dont know if that card first turn is actually good in arena, he drew some 3 drops and some minions that were not very valuable.

Hey Kripp. Don't know if your raw arena runs are exclusive to your live stream or not? Anyway I love watching arena runs and it came to me that with the amount of runs you do everyday, I think it would be a great addition to your channel if you make a playlist of raw arena runs. Just a fan suggestion, but i really hope you consider it!
How can weapon heavy paladin be weak to a flamestrike heavy mage? And more, to mage be his hardest counter.

I had a similar deck as the warlock in 13:05. It's not that much op if you have no luck. I lost to a top deck ragnaros having low health and six other creatures on the board including two taunts.

At 26:53 you could have reversing switched your Lord of the Arena to give it 5 health, then next turn silenced it to make it a 6/5 again.
missplay at 26:30 ... after attacking ironbork should've swapped health of lord of the arena and silenced for a fresh lord of the arena

Kripp u havent seen a trully crazy deck yet. I played against mage with DOUBLE ANTONIDAS and mostly a freeze mage deck

I just got wrecked by a Mage in arena who had a dr boom, 3 water elementals, a flamewaker with a shit ton of spell combos, 2 belchers and generally just a lot of really good cards w/ synergy. It felt like I was facing a constructed tempo mage.
"Constructed Ramp Druid" and the only ramp is 1 Innervate.
Also why wouldn't you just play Acolyte instead of Muster in the last match?
Played against an aggro priest, 3 shadow bombers, mind blast, bunch of 1-drop etc it was awesome

Playing that chicken was a big misplay. The odds of it hitting were low and gave the other guy a shot to draw more into lethal. It worked.
