I’m playing all the FFs in a row & wanted to get trophies for all that I don’t have the platinum for and I didn’t think I’d ever get this one done. I spent so many hours trying to get this. I was nervous at the end because the trophy wouldn’t pop up right away and I was like why not I’m way over 1000 but then it finally did.
It is because after you done 1000 and finish they give you the Title. I got it out of the way as well. I save the game and ready for when I decided to plat.
I did this 2 days ago. PS5. Windows 11. First, follow this guide exactly. Second, Vivi wouldn't interact with the girls at all. How I fixed this was by right clicking on AutoHotkey and checking the box that says "run as administrator." I also did this with PS Remote Play. Worked like a charm after that.

Took me like 8 tries but I was able to do it with this tutorial. It would stop a couple of times around 340 but after multiple restarts of the AHK program it worked. Thank you!

After uninstalling and downloading version 1 everything worked and I got the Trophy after a few failed runs.

I'm doing this trick on ps5. Script works but most I get to is 307 and vivi fails. Any tips. I did everything reccomneded in the video and have 1Gb down connection. Both PC and PS5 are hard wired. I'm confused. I shouldn't have any latency issues
I just changed the latency and it worked 3rd try. Before after 1 1/2 hours I could even pass 250. I’m also using a windows emulator on my MacBook Air. Literally just started the game and my completionist addiction won’t let me finish a game without getting the platinum.

I appreciate the detailed guide as most others skip over some parts that weren’t obvious for me, but I’m still having trouble getting this to work at all. I followed all steps and have Vivi standing right in front of the rope with the exclamation point, hit “Start” using Septomor option, the window resizes and the little text box saying “Start” appears and starts counting up, but nothing happens in game. Vivi is still just standing there with the exclamation point above his head, he doesn’t even begin to jump. I’m trying this on a PS5 if that matters…
It hard to tell since I don't have PS5. I know some windows 11 users are having trouble. Try the other option instead septomor. Maybe try running the programs as administrator
@@DestroyingSanity so I pulled out my crappy old laptop with windows 10, disabled everything else so it could even run remote play at all, and got 1,000 first try with 640 latency lol. Note this is also using the most up-to-date version of PS Remote Play as well. Run as administrator is key, and this option really isn’t available on Windows 11 that I could see. On Windows 10 it shows up in the right-click menu once you make AHK the default program for .ahk files. I’m sure it’s just moved (hidden) in windows 11, but it immediately worked on windows 10 once I ran it as administrator, even on a really low performing machine.

I completed it on a PS5.
2 additional tips below to guarantee it to work.
1) You will need an older version of the remote play(mine at 4.1) if not the script doesn’t work.
2)You will need a wired connection for a more stable connection. Completed it at 640. At one point my jump keep stopping at 100 jump and I adjusted from 710 to 650 then to 640.

For me it worked with Latency 640 and i open with AutoHotKey Unicode 32Bit (not ANSI), and i deinstall my avast antivirus app for no delay. My Windows Version is 10 pro.
It worked well I made it to 1188 jumps.

How do you change latency
As of today this method still works fine for me. It took me a few hours of trial and error and problems associated with internet connection. My advice: 1) see methods on how to improve the internet connection to your ps4 - mine was 25mb download; 2) Remote Play settings were 540p and Standard; 3) 1000+ jumps was achived at 655 latency; 4) this was done on windows 11 and at normal resolution and with latest ps remote update
Last suggestion: Keep track of your jumps on an excel sheet, specially keep track of how often you get 200+ or 300+ jumps. I ended up achieving 400+ at 650 and 655 latency then it was a question of repeating and hoping you get it

Thank you! After 7 or 8 times, I was finally able to get it with 640 latency. I guess it didn't work earlier because I was using a wireless connection, but in the end Vivi jumped 1140 times!

I did all the steps you showed and got a try that went to 268 of I recal right but failed shortly after, maybe latency issue ? I use Windows 11 and saw in other comments they got the trophy, one even talked he didnt get 1000 in first try but eventualy yes, should i lower or raise latency in the script ? Maybe I’ll try again near the end game cuz i too want the excalibur 2 for the trophy, also I’m playing on PS4 now.
Edit : done another try and went almost on 500 jumps, maybe is latency, after that the script didnt get past 1-10 jumps
everyone latency is different based on internet connection. Either go up or down until it gets better or worse
@@DestroyingSanity is there any minimum and maximum latency numbers? Some guides of every text guide data the default is 850 latency

Thanks I changed my latency to 640 and it worked on about the 3rd try. After 1 1/2 hours I couldn’t break passed 250. With it mostly failing around 50 or 100. I’m also using the parallels windows emulator on my MacBook Air. I can’t move onto the next game in my backlog until I 100% the game I’m currently playing so thanks for the help.

Search for 'Is jump script method even possible these days?' and on the second page of the forum there is a post from kennyFF92 explaining how it works, including a link to a working installation file for remote 4.1, that worked for me :)

It took me 2 hours but finally managed to do this on PS5 and windows 10. Latency was 645.
I think the most frustrating part of this is the fact you can literally jump to 50 or 150 or 250 without changing the latency there is no consistency.
It kept failing at around 104 no matter what I tried for ages. I jumped to 660 then 585 and then finally hit 1050 without changing the latency at 645, im so glad thats out of the way.

I had to stop all Internet functions. Stop using my cellphone, stop browsing the Internet, close a YT page even though the video was stopped.
If my 10th attempt overall failed, I was going to connect the PS5 to the modem via wire instead of wifi since my PC was already wired but that wasn't necessary in the end.

None of this works, I tried it exactly as in the video, I changed the latency, etc. but VIVI doesn't move
I got 1088 with latency at 655. Started at 640 and went up in incriments of 5 until finally got it. Phew! Good luck fellow battlers..!!

I hear some people have issues with PS5. I don't own one so I don't know.
This still works, but i had the same problem that Vivi just didn't do anything when i ran the script. My brother setup exactly the same and his script worked fine, i have no idea why it didn't work on my PC but it did on his even with exactly the same script setups. So try out other devices because i had to use my brothers PC to do this for me.
Alright guys, this video is a game changer. I followed 1:1 the instruction as I also discouvered issues with the installation. Anyway, I made it to 1076 after a few tries. I used 5GHZ Wifi. From Router to Ps5 by Lan. From PC to Router by Wi-Fi + a Repeater.
First try: 780 with 640 latency
Second try: 5 with 720 latency
Third try: 1076 with 644 latency

Just did this on my PS4 PRO (Firmware v11.0) using Remote Play (PS4 PRO was using an ethernet wire, laptop was a Lenovo Yoga using WiFi on Windows 10) Latency = 180, Resolution = 360p, Frame Rate = Standard, I adjusted up or down every 5 or 10 on Latency starting at 100.

Things that may help.
If you have the current version of remote play. Download an older version and the patch to "update it"
Otherwise the autoclicker wont react with it.result is vivi just standing there.
Use 1.1 of hot key as said in the video. V2 doesnt work with the script.youll get some error on line 1 etc.
Wired connection v wireless. I had issues on both. People have succeded on both though and with ps4 and ps4.
More lag increase letencey. Less lower it. Stick near where you get higher results itll work soon.
Alternatively if you have a ps4 the cronos adapter has a script and will do the jumps woth the controller.. You wont have to worry about internet connection that way.
You have to use remote play with the ps5 and cronos and may suffer the same lag issues.
Dow side is cronos aint cheap.

i cannot for the life of me figure out what im doing wrong. i get the script running, however vivi doesnt interact with the girls. the program shows me the jumping counter once i press start but he just stands there
on windows 10, tried both versions of hot key and tried changing latencies. he just wont talk to them to start jumping unless i press enter (edit to say i press enter for him to move forward in the dialog but he still doesnt jump)
Maybe run program as administrator. Try the other program? Instead of picking septomor maybe pick Queuetip. I don't really know what else to say. This method worked for me compared to other videos.
@@DestroyingSanity update: i was finally able to do it. i think i have something blocking the script on my pc but i used a new laptop (on windows 11) and with both my laptop and ps5 hardwired i was able to do it with 639. thanks, now i can get the platinum for this game

Window 11 users seem to have the most issues.
I don’t have windows 11 either I’m not too sure what I could have messed up on. I everything listed in the vid and it seems to not let vivi jump whenever I run the script.
I luckily still had my PS4 I could only get it to work on Remoteplay 4.0 with PS4 play

Please help, I have the problem that when I started the script. Vivi just do nothing. Like the button is not mapped at all. Like there's no command or button input to my PS remote play at all. I use Windows10. Can you please help.

When I try to use this, I can tell the autohotkey is doing something, as if I tab into another application, it acts as if it's pressing "Enter" a bunch over and over. But when I do hit start from a fresh attempt, it begins to count, but no inputs are toggled while trying. Vivi will only stand there. And it won't say it failed either even after waiting a while. It counts up and up while Vivi is standing still.
I'm on ps5 and I see others in the comments saying it works, but I can't seem to get it to work. If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it so much. Or... if there's just a way to cheat in this one particular trophy somehow I'd appreciate that, too

Try downloading the other auto hot key. Not sure since I can't see the problem and make sure the window is primary. If you click on another window it wont register.
I thought this was for ps4, looks like a pc. How do you get the ps4 game running on PC?

if i start the script vivi is just standing there and doing nothing.The counter is rising, but vivi dont talk with the girls. I think ps remote play won´t recognize the keyboard buttons, because i think in the script say "send enter down" and "send enter up". If i press any button on keyboard it doesnt do anything. Am i right or wrong here ? Are there and keyboard functions on ps remote play?
All I know PS5 and Windows 11 users have issues.
I had this issue also with the latest remote play. There is a discussion somewhere where they say to use an older version of remote play. They link the file to download for you. With the older version vivi doesn’t just stand there. I’m on windows 11 if it matters
I've just followed your instructions and it worked. However, once Vivi starts jumping at the thirtheen jump the script fails. It always happens before the thirtheen jump. Do you know why? It's not a question of latency, it happens every time
Don't use the computer. You have to leave the computer alone. I tried to browse the internet and it would stop.

@@andreagervasio7553Sorry to butt in, but he means he tried to use the internet browser while the script was running and it caused the application to fail. Just try leaving everything alone while it executes. Haven't crossed the line yet but I've gotten to 900.

I can't do this, Vivi achieved 221 jumps with 710 Latency, I've been moving that parameter for half an hour and it almost always falls at 22.

I don't know. It may be the app may be a different version and the update ruined it.
I gave up. I could never get Vivi to actually do anything. I tried everything. Even dug out the old PS4 and still nothing. Downloaded an older version of remote play (5.5 couldn’t find anything older that would download) and the furthest I got was the counter going up when nothing was happening. It sucks because it’s the only FF game I haven’t platinumed.
Do you have Windows 11? Try downloading the other version or trying the 64 bit?

Al contrario PS5 e Windows 11 con Remote Play aggiornato sono incompatibili, lo script parte ma non interagisce con Remote Play, nemmeno come Amministratore.
Beh sono felice, quando ero giovane avevo superato i 3000 salti legittimamente, ma adesso non ce l'avrei fatta nemmeno ad arrivare a 500 😂

As of Nov 2023 Works with PS5 and making Latency 640. Just follow him step by step. Also this works on the latest PS Remote Play and Windows 10.
P.s if you right click and run script do it as run as administrator. Went all the way to 1100

@dylanmoss510 make sure you're positioned where the video says. Then right click the autokey and run as administrator. Switch the variable to 640 and then switch to Septomor and then start. Wait about 5-10 seconds for things to move. Took me a few tries but eventually got it down

the max ive gotten is 81 why? and then when it restarts it does one and fails also the ps remote app doesnt let me change the settings. It closes as sson as i click on the settings button
You may have to change the latency. Everyone has a different number that works for their computer. It will restart if it fails.

I downloaded this exact program and when I put it in my hard drive, thankfully the one with all of my games on there, when I logged onto my computer yesterday it deleted all of my files. One terabyte worth of games all gone.

How do I know how to fix latency? I tried 710 and 640 and I barely hit 200 Jumps. I'm playing wireless, as I don'T have a LAN cable thats long enough if that helps
Just keep going lower or higher. It can vary for every individual.

The latency is pretty much like a delay. Some people internet is different than others. I just kept increasing or decreasing the latency until I got it right. I just kept subtracting 10 every time it would stop until I found my peak latency.

I don't know. If you are using WIndows 11 that may be the issue.

I think may be the new version of the app. The firmware may have messed it up I think.

Man, i´m desperate right now, after 6 months i quit, i can´t do it in a legal way. I just can get to 320 jumps... So i tried this, download the programs and installed them, but when i open the remote PS app, and run the script in 64bits, 32bits, vivi just don't move, the counter starts but vivi jus stay still... I've tried everything but i can make him to move, help, anyone?

Doesn seen to be working on ps5 using windows 11. Press start and vivi doesnt move. Now pressing enter lets me jump manualy but thats it

If the game is frozen. It is most likely the PS remote play app? I never experienced that.

So I found that you have to use an old version of PS remote for this to work.
