    Some tips while preforming Shii-Cho, This form uses wide fluent attacks, similar to Ataru, try to stay as calm as possible while using it. The wide strikes can leave you open, always try to guide your blade into a defensive motion after an attack, similar to Soresu. Although this form is normally one of the first many learn, when mastered, it can be formidable against any opponent.

    • @bastianlopez458
      @bastianlopez458 2 года назад +10

      Yeah but it's most effective when your surrounded or fighting multiple opponents but the user will struggle fighting one on one. The only reason why kit fisto won against grevious is because general grevious was using his four arms and his famous hand spinning technique. Shii cho is one of those forms either you are a novice with the form or a true master, never in between. A true master of this form however, is incredibly random and unpredictable. A master of this form is even more dangerous because of how much the user dwells off of the force to make themselves more random and unpredictable. A true master of shii cho requires more from the force than both ataru and juyo ( ataru masters use the force to enhance their abilities and juyo masters use the force to fuel their emotions that are drawn from the dark side). In the revenge of the sith novelisation kit fisto actually lasted much longer than he did in the movie, he was actually able to catch up with mace and palpitine's duel and actually helped mace catch palpitine off guard and nearly force him to be on defense. The only reason he was killed however, is when he sensed Anakin's presence and kit fisto got heavily distracted by Anakin and this he was decapitated by the chancellor. Kit fisto was not only one of the strongest duelists of his time but he was also one of the most powerful Jedi Masters in the order, due to his mastery of form 1 he was able to keep up and best one of the strongest enemies of the time. Even though he was oftenly random and unpredictable with the form he specialized in and mastered he would often times draw so much power from the force that he went often dive deep enough that he would almost fall to the dark side.

    Form 1 is like Checkers. Simple to learn, but difficult to master. We see how someone who's inexperienced like Rey can use Form 1 to great effect, while a master of The Force like Kit Fisto can still kick ass with it.

    Ever had that moment when you just read up on lightsaber forms and you realize one of them or two of them fit your mannerisms? I had that with Form III. Form V and VII had a few sparks but all in all, Form III would be the best for me with V and VII being alternatives. Either way, I am still going to need to learn all seven of the forms.

    I finally mastered this technique, it’s pretty easy and I can tell all the moves are pretty much for blocking
    Edit) I meant parrying not blocking

    Yes all padiwans learn this form it is very basic but unpredictable and not very used many so alot with most known kit fisto it can bring dark side because of it basic strikes

    Tip :make 8 in the sky whit your lightsaber i call it the grievous spin it's part of a fighting style i'm working at and altho it shouldn't be for fighting it's very good for intimidating the opponent and making them back of thus giving you space and if you do this whit a staff or double lightsaber you got your space and the opponent backs of and can't hit you but you can beacuse your weapon is far longer try it out and may the force be with you

    I would like to see it done faster bc it seems like the over-head slashes leave you vulnerable. I assume this is where kinetic energy comes in handy or brute force.

    Hey guys, cool videos. May I ask one question. Why aren't there any defence moves shown in LSF1? Is this on purpose? Is LSF1 really only mentioned for attacks and you combine the defences from the other LSFs?

    Your blade and your foot should step down together. You are telegraphing. You should never put your blade so far back when making an overcut.

    • @cfv7461
      @cfv7461 4 года назад +37

      I think this was made for the movies. In movies usually telegraphing is desireble so the public can better follow the action.
