Very cool car.. i didn't think 2.02s would clear a 273s bore, glad it worked. I have Blower fever really bad right now.. i have a 318 with trickflows and a howards roller in a 62 plymouth. Been staring at the Dyers 671 kit for awhile now... just can't pull the trigger yet. I was curious, who makes your throttle cable bracket? the one that came with my cables is thing metal and moves which is less than ideal. Also.. looks like you have the 2" drive belt for the blower? Any issues with that? I am kind of wondering if i could fit the blower drive and keep a mechanical fan. I just like to keep things as simple as possible and a mechanical fan should never randomly die :)
The bracket is made by Lokar and I highly recommend it. The 2" belt clears the original mechanical fan, just wanted to try something different with the cheapo electric. The blower turns the car into a total monster. Sounds like a fun project you've got
@@gmc-roots-blown273 thanks for the nfo.. yeah i looked last night and i could fit a 2" if i used a electric fan in front of the rad.. The 62's have the engine bout 1.75" more forward than later cars, i could fix that. but meh. I don't NEED a blower... i just want a blower :)
@@icetech6 You could move the rad support forward a little. Mine is a Dyers and it took them 3 tries to get the crank pulley right. They made it an underdrive in the end so you've gotta check everything. You should find somebody that will let you drive one, then you'll know if it's right for you.
Lighting was just fine. Couldn't hear everything you said while taking the spark plugs out, but it's awesome to hear about the improved gas mileage.
Yeah I pretty much was talking to the engine. Sorry about that :) Engine bog all gone along with the right tire
@@gmc-roots-blown273 lol the engine likes to be talked to sometime. So that's nice of you 😉
@@SerenaW-c1t It's part of the engine service intervals. Says so right in the owner's manual
