@5:48 That's the idle screw, not the idle mixture screw. It sets the idle RPM by making very small adjustments to the butterfly valves in the venturi at closed throttle, but doesn't have an impact on adding any fuel.

I have the 650 and it’s amazing! However I wish I would have bought the off road version for m 4x4 k5. There is a kit I can make it off road capable. Just make sure you run a fuel regulator and set it at 5.5 psi and make sure you buy the tuning kit. Only thing I had to do was replace the springs. Oh I forgot to mention to get yourself a AFR gauge. I got mine dialed in and it literally runs perfect at 14.7 cruising. So fuel regulator, AFR gauge and, tuning kit and vacuum gauge.

What is the difference in an off-road kit?

At 9:30 the hole onder the electric choke hosing is a open vacuum port on my 1906. No one mentions that it ia leak when not plugged. Mine has no threads .

I have one of these in 500cfm on my 283.
Just know if you buy one, it comes with orange pop up springs, youll need to put a vac gauge on to determine which OTHER springs youll need. I went with the silvers. Solid 19 hg of vac . Adjust Idle mixture screws til vac comes up .
Youll also want to adjust the spring on the secondary butterfly. It comes set too tight..
