O2 type trailer…light trailer up to 3,500kg so it has to be braked but, because it will be under 1,500kg it doesn’t need a breakaway cable. The trailer weight (including tub) is 509kg - I’ve removed the tub and replaced it with a fibreglass structure which keeps the weight under 1,500kg. It’s one of those irregular quirks of our legal system that one might have to be fitted even though on disc brakes it would be ineffective. If the IVA people tell me that it needs one, then I’ll fit one. Although pre 1986 build, it seems they're not required.
It was a habitation unit for dogs originally mounted on a 130 Landrover...chap is turning his into a camper so I've got his body on my elongated Sankey.
It's a great project, looking forward to future updates! Will you be fitting a break-away cable?

Interesting, what have you done with the old trailer body?
