The meadow calls out for our touch. Yes Lake Tahoe offers many adventures, but that meadow creates an option for a small trophy trout lake for up to eight-pound trout along with a full range of recreation in the clear waters with a native wildflower meadow and beach. Add to this a *_twenty-foot wide spring creek_* where anglers chase the trophy trout with tiny fly rods. We design these waters with warmer surface water in mind to offer a longer beach season than the colder lake.
Honestly, I could care less about the decadent opulence exhibited here! We lived in North Tahoe thru most of the 70’s when you knew just about everyone , life was about living in the moment in modest fashion. Hiking to the top of Tallac or into 5 lakes or hanging at chimney or Skunk beach with friends, skiing 4-5 last runs at the end of the day because the supposed last run felt so good ! Anyway, you get the point. I still love Tahoe but it’s not the same!
@ You got that right….. but …… then it was a bunch of kids whose life purpose was to ski, ski, party, ski and enjoy the ,then somewhat wild ,area. Mammoth was the same too
All for about half the cost of a new Boeing 747-8i. What a bargain! Imagine the cost of upkeep, utilities and taxes. Disposable income, how would it be?
Is not Tahoes most exclusive legacy property at all why the fake misleading title? those of us that live here know better, want me to name a few? George Whittell owned this property and sold it and has a nice home on the lake for one...
@@lutomson3496 Whittell Estate is owned by US Forestry Dept. Shakespeare Ranch without a DOUBT is the most exclusive, Historical property for sale to the public in Tahoe if not America. Sorry, bit I spend 12 years looking for the perfect large, Western Ranch. 188 mil? No way. 50-60 mil maybe….a big maybe. But as PT Barnum once said there’s a sucker born every minute.
Jason….. I love Tahoe, the lake and mountains and all but you’re right. It’s become a possession destination that’s the exact opposite of what it was in the past
Just another example of "Paradise Lost" (just like Hawaii) .... Nice places get noticed and eventually prices BOOM. Then it just becomes another place for rich snobs
Just imagine someone with that kind of financial horsepower to spend on this place, instead, would use it to help humanity, how much better the world would be.

If someone bought 182 Acres with a few old houses for $188 million then they clearly did not shop this.

Or at least the morning tee times 😂😂
I’ll call the agent and offer $188, no zeroes.
I promise I'm rooting for you.

188 mill for 132 acres seems awfully high. Very pretty though, Tahoe is nice.

Tahoe is a nasty, crowded tourist trap. Not sure why anyone goes there. Definitely wouldn't pay $188mm for a home in that shit hole.
And what shit hole do you live in…..
Nevada side is not Californiacated. Still beautiful. No homelessness, Drug Addicts or Crime😎
