SteeZy_WeeZy , idk just the thought of straight vibing while listening to a calm playlist while riding down a long peaceful street during a sunset is so mmm
Your videos have inspired me to buy my first longboard. Thirty five years ago dancing changed my life forever and in a positive way. I'm 57 now and still love to dance and can't wait to try longboard dancing and make a video someday. I might be in a nursing home and have training wheels on my longboard but by golly im going to do it! I'm so glad I found your videos with actual dancing vs the others that call it dancing when its just tricks.
@@kieranki Thanks for asking! My first time out riding a longboard turned out to be an awesome experience! I really like how dancer boards flex and handle especially with all that extra deck space. I bought a cable cam and made a couple of videos on my third and 4th day of riding and thought it was pretty cool at the time but now I think they're awful. I was too caught up with all this new equipment instead of riding my longboard. Hopefully I can post some better videos in the near future.
@Susel Thank you! It so nice to hear from people with such a positive attitude and outlook in life. I was taking hip hop classes not long ago and all I heard was "Aren't you a little old for that?" "When are you going to grow up?" Its so cool to hear from someone else that's just getting started! I would love hear updates on how you are progressing. Be safe and have fun!
i’ve been practicing these 3 steps in my driveway and i’m getting the hang of it! in my opinion the easiest is the 180 step, which is a good one to start with!
Thanks for the tutorial. In my opinion, you were always dancing. Even while walking, your flow is great. Not just random tricks one after the other, but a nice smooth flow. Obviously, it's more expressive with the arms! If you have good ideas on how to improve the flow even with the simple steps, I'd love to see this a a new video.
Hey! I guess that’s also always a question of perspective how someone interpretates dancing. Anyways: in my last video I was talking about balance and how to use the spine instead of the arms for balancing - which is already improving the flow. To carve more is always very helpful, higher speeds are making it easier to carve. And practicing the steps very slowly while you skating in a higher speed is making your steps more precise and you‘ll flow better. When you nailed the slow steps you can do faster steps, but they are more precise and more confident! I’m going to do a video about this at some point, where I‘ll talk about this in further detail, unfortunately it just takes quite some time to produce them 😅
I’ve been watching a lot of Hans Wouters and Lofti Woodwalker and while they do dancing they also do a lot of freestyle too so it’s nice to see you just dance, especially when you’re this good
I started longboarding 5 days ago and now I could do 180s & cross step. Peter Pan is still exceptionally difficult since I can’t cross my feet without displacing forward. Thank you so much for the video that taught me the basics to get my engine going!
I keep coming back to this video. Its been 5 years since I started longboarding and this was one of the first videos that inspired me to start. I can do a few steps now and finally get that smooth flowy feeling. This video is so understated and effortless, but its so hard to get to this level of comfort. You are so smooth! Incredible ❤
I was inspired to start longboard dancing when I saw you practicing by the bike path in Santa Monica. So graceful and fluid. So glad you started making these tutorials! Appreciate the instruction!
This is my favorite educational video for beginners! Very concise and informative. I like the way you organize your explanations and your skating is just fun to watch!
I would make sure you can hear other people or vehicles around you. Also, at first it may complicate things to try to fit your moves into the timing of the music. But if you plan to dance to music, you can listen without blocking other noises and you got the gist of the moves, it's probably better to get used to moving to music earlier in your progression.
hey! Actually you can use music as something that helps to determine the speed of your steps. I like to advice people to use very slow music to practice to do the steps very slowly, so you can work on your technique. But it's no question it is more difficult to dance to the music. But if you're feeling balanced and confident, go for it!
Seeing this and your moves made me fall in love with you. Just the beauty and fluidity of your movements as well as your succinct description of the patterns are just amazing. Thank you for sharing ^^
Great first video! I would suggest checking out the rendered audio levels before you upload. The music is good, but should not take priority over your voice.
I know how to roller skate, ice skate, and even have a hover bored now i just need to master long boarding and its freestyles and get to the learning how to dance. thanks for the video
Nice videos Giulia! Thanks for teaching and sharing with us your experience and tips! I really like your style. It was actually bc of one of your longboard dancing videos that I decided to pick up on longboarding! I’m going to Portugal this Sept for the boot Camp! I really hope to see you there. If not, if you have a chance to go to So Cal, hit me up!!!
Many of you requested what board I'm riding, this is my setup: Longboard by Majutsu: "Buto Odori (Limba)" www.majutsu.fr/gb/ Trucks: Paris Trucks 180 paristruckco.com/
Hi Giulia! Really nice videos. I hope to watch more tutorials from you. You have a unique style! Do you use griptape only on the nose and tail of your board? I have a Loaded Bhangra V1 and it’s killing my shoes 😂 so I was considering removing some of the griptape from it (similar to the Bhangra V2), but I’m not sure if I could dance the same way without the grip. Any advice? Cheers and happy holidays!
Great stuff. I'm tempted to get a dancing longboard now to be honest. It should help with getting more comfortable on a (regular) skateboard too I'd say.
very nice, very smooth I've watched your clip for long time to practice longboard dancing. Is it possible to make a clip how to jump and turn around on a longboard? Ps. I'm watching from Thailand, Thank you so much
I simply want to learn cross step and nose riding. I surf longboard, real old school style so cross step is important but on a skateboard falling off is way harsher than on waves.
what type of board are you using? I want to buy my 1st long board but I don't know where to even start! I know I wanna do dancing but also just chill gliding or like transportation.
Pirouetten sind definitiv auf meiner To Do Liste!
This is why I choose longboard, it’s so fancy to dance it
Yes! Can’t wait to see more people dancing! 😍
SteeZy_WeeZy , I’m not really a trick guy, I like long roads with no obstacles, just myself dancing thru
@SteeZy_WeeZy , it's not the same and you know that. longboarding provides a much cleaner and more enjoyable cruise.
@SteeZy_WeeZy , and you still have a maximillian pfp we done here.
SteeZy_WeeZy , idk just the thought of straight vibing while listening to a calm playlist while riding down a long peaceful street during a sunset is so mmm
I wish I had a long smooth place to practice dancing.😭
Longboarding is also made for cracks. Its to cruise so it has soft wheel to go thru cracks dont worry
Tennis courts if they are empty
Kitchen floor!
Right! In front of my house is smooth, but its got traffic during the day and its too dark at night
My road is straight rocks 💀all holes lmao
This looks so smooth but when i tried this i broke my hand
Timo you don’t have skating gear? 🤨
I tried doing a tiger claw and almost broke my finger
I broke my ankle trying the cross step haha
No really?
Saori b*tches Supervisor I only wear hand gear :/
I loveeeee how graceful you are. That’s kinda how I wanna ride
Thank you so much! You can do it!
I don’t even own a longboard. I love watching people dance 💃 🛹
Me tooo but i want one so bad
Its so fun to do i just learned the peter pan yeasterday along with my friend he learned how to with me
@@Creature0022 Aw that’s so cool. I just learned how to balance on one today lol.

Same here 😍 I do watch their videos, so damn good🔥🔥
Agreed. Brandon D. I super good as well! Longboarding has really come a long ways from just carving around.
Been skating for 2 weeks now and this was a great help! Love your voice as well.
Happy to hear! I hope you‘re going to have fun with exploring longboarding further! ✌🏻

Sehr schön für Anfänger erklärt
You should make more videos!! you're channel is so educational and really helpful. You explain things really well!
Thank youbGiu. It was really easy to check HOW to do it. Now I have to TRY doing it.
I never skate or even dance before. But RUclips keep reccomend me longboarding videos. I think I should give it a try. Thank for the nice tutorial 👍
Woooow! Super Video! Dankeschööön 😍😘 Schade, dass du nicht noch mehr gedreht hast
Should I listen to music when I practise dancing on a longboard ?

Why was that majestic? That was so calming
Love it since I just recently got a longboard and really want to learn more about dancing! Please post more videos like this.
@Jsonic Skiri thanks for the tip!!
The 180 is 100% the easiest to start with and get you comfortable and confident enough
Great first video! I would suggest checking out the rendered audio levels before you upload. The music is good, but should not take priority over your voice.

Thank you!! I just recently bought my first longboard (and skateboard in general). I wanna learn to ride, but hope to dance in it one day.
This is great. Thanks I’m going to try it
Loved your vibes! I'm going to start practicing this!
Thank you great video, I've recently been practicing the Cross Step and Peter Pan but didn't know about the 180 step so that'll be a nice addition!

Awesome to hear! Stay motivated!

this video is so awesome! your skating looks so smooth!
Wait this was your first video!? It’s already so professional.
Great tutorial! Interesting audio processing🤔.
And I’m rather glad To see I’m not the only one using shoe laces to keep my pants up :p
Wow. This is such a good video for beginners
This was so lovely to watch
Great class, teacher. Thank you!

This is beautiful wow🌱
Great video! Very well explained, thank you!
Thank you!
Great tutorial I got it in a span of only one week!
by the way, I love your tutorial. Now I need to find a good place to practice.
This was so helpful I love this❤️
I’m so excited because I bought a longboard ... but I got a Ghost longboard and I haven’t seen anyone really skate with it so I’m scared lol
You are an amazing instructor! Thank you!

Amazing! Love your style!
Finally a regular rider
this video's gonna change the way I longboard
Just a Skateboarder watching while quarantine makes you super board! Ok bye
impressive 👏🏼
How long did it take you to get this far???? You are so graceful btw ☺️
very nice, very smooth
I've watched your clip for long time to practice longboard dancing.
Is it possible to make a clip how to jump and turn around on a longboard?
Ps. I'm watching from Thailand, Thank you so much
I practicing longboard so I subscribe and all alarm of your channel😆😆
Your dancing was so smooth.
How long have you play longboard?
more Tutorial Pleasssseeeee , love your style !!
Now this is real longboard dancing.
I simply want to learn cross step and nose riding. I surf longboard, real old school style so cross step is important but on a skateboard falling off is way harsher than on waves.
Love your energy
Daaaaaaang, girl! You go!!!! ❤️😁
is the shape of the logboard important for dancing? cause mine is different lol
loved the video btw, i'm gonna practice tomorrow
Taix nah, i don’t think the shape affects anything at tbh. I’ve seen hella longboarders dance and do tricks on different looking shaped boards
It is helpful I have one that is a little longer She has a freestlye board and not a cruiser. But you ca. Do it on any it just might look different.
i think avoiding drop-through boards also helps because they cut off some surface area where you can maneuver on the board
Duuuuude... 0:40 You got so lucky!
Thank you for this video! you're amazing and "Regular" like me :D
Thank you so much!!!
You are amazing love your page !
You’re style is amazing😍my board is shit I’m looking to get a new one for dancing. Any recommendations?💜
guess it's a little bit too late but anyway, loaded bhangra v2 and loaded tarab are two of the best dance boards out there.
How lomg did it take to learn that for you?
I'm trying to do the 180 step, I started today 😊
what type of board are you using? I want to buy my 1st long board but I don't know where to even start! I know I wanna do dancing but also just chill gliding or like transportation.
Hey! Really nice video, I love your style! Is it Volkspark Friedrichshain I see in the background?

Hi @Giu Alfeo , which board are you riding in the video? Looks awesome by the way! 👍
Great Video!
