I’ve voted for you Gary. I like you’re straightforward, no nonsense presentation style. Hope you’re getting a chance to make some progress with your Crafter conversion btw.
Brilliant Diagnosis!!!, Voted Gary & You are the King of Intelligent Diagnostics 👏. Learnt so much from you too & thanks for sharing your expertise!!😊😊. God Bless you 🙏.
Now that was an interesting video, unfortunately I have a Crafter the 2E variant with the 2.5 engine, I can’t find any way to measure the Nox ppm value as you just demonstrated. There’s nothing in eobd relating to Nox. I even own VCDS and although I can see info related to the error code in the freeze frame data I can’t work out which measuring block to view so I can do some monitoring of live data. I am at total loss why it seems so hard to do this on a Crafter! There doesn’t seem to be a list of VW measuring blocks anywhere on the internet!
Hi garry I have a 2011 caddy maxi ex British gas it's the 1.6 tdi I have a engin coil light that constantly keeps coming on and put the van in limp mode I took it to the garage this morning and he's done a reading and got the same fault as your video the bank 2 would this fist of all make the coil light come on and not the engin management light secondly would this make the van go in to limp mode
Ok but maybe the wiring from the nox module to the sensor was broken from fatigue of constant movement between the exhaust pipe and body wiring clamps.
Your tendency to dig deep is rubbing off. Was inquisitive to to why 65535 is displayed on the sensor display. Apparently it is the maximum decimal number you can display with a sixteen bit number (Hex FFFF/Binary 1111111111111111). So basically its a digital interface that is displaying its maximum…sorry just thinking out loud.
Voted for you, Gary. Good luck.
