- We took our FIRST Mediterranean cruise on Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas sailing out of Ravenna, Italy to Santorini, Mykonos, Athens and Split, Croatia. We learned a lot about cruising in the Mediterranean and we can't wait to share it all with you!

1- My bf and I are Vegan so I really love to see cruise ships are slowly understanding there are different dietary needs/choices

Just got off the Odyssey of the Seas Greek Island cruise last week . Santorini was beautiful but be prepared for the heat and crowds . We took cable car up and walked the steps down since the line for cable car was so long 😊.
Stay tuned for our video haha! We also take the stairs! Thankfully the crowds and heat weren’t too bad in May! I’m sure they’re much worse now!

We didn’t because we were off the ship so much! We just used our vouchers! It worked perfectly! We bought a few drinks here and there but we didn’t miss the drink package on this one!

My last cruise I got the pineapple drink. It was fine but I was a little disappointed about having to pay money(even with the drink package) to essentially just have a cocoloco lol
Oh 100% I am always annoyed when they charge you more for anything on board. Especially with the price we pay! 💰
You must get the unlimited dining package, I always get the deal booking/rebooking 35 percent off, IF you price out lunch and dinner every oportunity you can go to a specialty dining, It cost just under 20 dollars per person per meal. Totally worth it, Plus you can go to a different venue to place a to go order to the venue you did not sit down out, and get it just before close, save it in your fridge, and have a very late night snack which is better than the pizza. This adds value to your overall cost much less than 20 dollars a meal. Plus Johnny rockets and Playmakers makes it even more a value,

Noticed your T do you have a dog? What do you do with your pup with all the travel? We just took a 15 day River cruise (absolutely wonderful). The boarding cost a fortune.
We do! We put her in a dog daycare and it also costs a small fortune, but they take amazing care of her! So it’s worth every penny 🤍

I use the skincuticals tinted spf as well as the sunbum face spray. I never used to use any spf but then my mid 30’s hit me across the face in the form of sun spots haha! 🤣
@@ryanandkala Same! I never burned so I figured I was good. Now trying different sunscreens and I’m so picky, especially for my face. I’ll look into this one thanks! I’m going to also try the Supergoop Unseen (got a sample to try).

Not so fast Kala! If he got on the waterslide, you still have to. Not getting on the waterslide at all, makes YOU the wimp. BTW, warmups, aren't for wimps.
🤣 I got on one I believe on the carnival celebration lol! I can’t get water in my ears because I get crazy ear infections of if I do so if I do a slide it’s not one of the ones where your ears get wet or I need special ear plugs, it’s a whole ordeal.
Warmups are actually crucial lol, I was just being silly! 😜
@@ryanandkala ok, Kala. I’ll give you A break. Yeah, I’ve had my experience with ear infections too in the past. To the point where I had to have vents put in my ears. Yeah, you would have to wear earplugs if you do slides where the water can get in your ears.
It’s such a pain isn’t it!?

So what did homegirl do before gluten was a thing? Starve to death? 😂 mental case bruh
Before the diagnosis I ate gluten not realizing that’s why I was so sick all the time. Once I figured out what was making me so sick it was a double edged sword, because I miss all the pastas and breads and stuff, but I no longer feel sick all the time and all my health issues went away!
So as much as it sucks to have to eat GF it’s not a choice for me sadly
