I hope the fan sound can get resolved. Love the new studio.
Just found this channel! I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time. I am also a huge ghostbusters fan, it’s a fun light hearted game.
Welcome! They also run the "Kinda Funny" channel check out: Kinda Funny INReview, they started with Marvel, and the X-Men series has some great laughs.
You'll start to love Greg miller very soon
Welcome to this crazy family, and congratulations on becoming a new best friend.
This is a great time to find the channel, they just launched this kick ass studio! Welcome to the family 🤝
welcome!
I don’t know when I’ll get over the in person / new studio energy. Eventually it’ll just be normal but it’s still so exciting 😭
Facts
In most states its been the norm for a year or more
I guess you could say you love that energy… inside and out ;)
@@reach5589 They would have been in person sooner had the studio been ready.
You know who is over it already? My wife. Because every 5 minutes I gotta show her some clip of the crew in the studio and talk about how amazing this is 🤣
The Gamescast Intro looks dope Andy, fantastic work!!!
thanks a bunch!
I think I could listen to SnowBikeMike talk for 24 hours straight. Love when he gets to be on the Gamescast
Hey YOU ROCK
That new Gamescast intro is awesome. Kudos on everything. Yall been killing it
This new studio is freaking SICK! Everything looks amazing, the production value is just next level guys!!! I truly feel that, with this new studio, every single piece of content you guys do is a must watch! Congratulations to the whole team!
Props to Tim. It looks like he got into rlly good shape prior to the big studio move
Aircon or something is a bit loud. The place is so large the acoustics are a bit echoy and cold as well.
I noticed on my end as well didn't know if it just me though
Yea, I think so.. wasn't sure if it was like white noise or air con
Fantastic intro, incredible studio, great energy between you all. I really look forward to future content in the spare bedroom. Small suggestion... Maybe the b roll can be a mix of on the incredible screen behind y'all and the changing scenes you use? Could make the discussions and insight into certain games more immersive and keep me attached to what's being said about the game due to a better ability to see who's talking.
Anyways, great ep. Congratulations on everything!
The new intro!!!! I think them delaying moving into the studio makes so much sense, obviously for the build KF has gone brand new with everything you love to see it.
Having watched you guys since the OG spare bedroom. It's really weird to see you all in a studio again. Very excited to see how everything goes. Set looks unreal
The look, feel, and energy is very good. Love seeing you all in person.
Definitely thought that 5 would be too many people at the table in the beginning of the podcast, but ya’ll flowed so well together. Love the new studio and the new feel of the content!
So good to see you all together! loving this
Can we get your gameplay on the large wall behind you guys when your talking about games? Love the intro. Great work.
Rewatched the new intro and frame by framed it at least a bakers dozen times. KILLER episode guys!
thanks!
Great work Andy on those designs. Looking good lads......studio could do with a splash of paint though 😉
GOD I LOVE SEEING YOU GUYS TOGETHER! CAN'T WAIT FOR THE GOTHAM KNIGHTS REVIEW
This is KFG Vol. 2, Episode 150 (Episode 402 overall)
That intro was just *chefs kiss
That new intro is fire.
Great job Andy!
thank you!
First Gamescast in the studio!! So sick
31:09 - Andy: "He's in shock, he's in shock." Nicely played Sir!! 😝
To hear Tim open up a Lacroix again!!! Feels like we’re home. Kinda Funny is back and better than ever. Get ready for the ESPN of video games!
Oh damn! Back in person ?! Great stuff
this is what i have been waiting for- all in the same room again finally.
Rooster Teeth 😬
Still can’t get over how incredible that studio is
One thing you forgot to mention in Marvel Snap Tim is that your match making is based on your collection level so you are never going to be against someone that is too strong for you
the new studio is dope, just hope they figure out the echo sitch, I wonder how news stations do it
They use house mics too.
You guys always have the absolute dopest intros
Shout out to the background art it’s so so sick where did it come from??? The production values are awesome
Andy already not corner anymore
The new studio looks incredible!!
I played Marvel Snap for 8 hours yesterday. I couldn’t stop, it’s so damn fun.
THAT PIXEL ART INTRO THO 😍
that intro is fire
Leveled up in terms of production is an understatement. It's like you bought 25 levels on the battle pass! And you're all so much better in person, Mike killed this appearance, he seems WAY more locked in vs WFH. Love it all!
Felt so much better to be in person. I was better!!
Is it possible to crop (zoom in) the wide shot just a little bit more? Everyone is so tiny on my phone. (Great work on everything btw)
New Intro is dope.
Love Bless preaching about SF6, most anticipated game for me
No plague tale discussions is disappointing, but production quality is fantastic! Well done guys
haven't been able to get to it with all the studio prep unfortunately
@@TheAndyCortez no worries man, just eager to hear thoughts on it from you all!
Lovely, lovely... But, but am I missing where A Plague Tale: Requiem is mentioned in any recent podcast yet?? It.... It's so nice!
Still can't get over how much the production value increases and makes these shows I've seen for years feel brand new.
I'll say, for this episode there did seem to be a fair bit of background noise of maybe a fan or something like that, I'm sure y'all are aware and working on it but I thought I'd give you a heads up. Love you all. 💙
That opening is EPIC
We got an egg
I appreciate it!
33:02 I find it funny that something like this is a talking point in 2022 when Resident Evil 4 was doing something extremely similar back in 2005.
I'm just gonna say this once, the Gamescast should be these 5 every week
Andy just sorted the title screen😂
Damn, Andy's fit is looking fresh!! I love the colors
Absolutely that new intro.
Been playing Marvel Snap all day and holy shit it's awesome. I usually don't even like card games but its so good!
I'd find it interesting if they made it so that over time, they introduce other ips as DLC ghosts like Casper, The Flying Dutchman, or the ghosts from Pacman, or Ghostbusters like the ladies from the reboot, Danny Phantom, or the characters from Ghost Hunt.
Tim, you guys gotta get Ben Brode on Gamescast for a Marvel Snap interview. I'm so glad you love the game, it's so frickin good!
Love the studio and all. Just kidna worries for the Audioquality. The echo is so much and feels weird
Oh my god, that BACKDROP
God that video board looks incredible
Gregg’s yadda yadda yadda count was probably in the 20s this episode
Did they mention if they're going to review Plague Tale Requiem?
Andy that intro is 🔥
Opening is fire. Time to get Blessing Sonic out of my head.
This set is crazy its like I'm watching a full on IGN post E3 panel like a bunch of celebs and devs are gonna be swapping in and out but even better. This is incredible man
Shoutout to Cameron Kennedy for that 🔥intro!
My only concern with ghostbusters is the lack of advertising or marketing pre launch. Hopefully the great feedback will get people involved.
Love the new intro 👍
Any way they could introduce the characters from the movies and TV shows, like Eduardo from Xtreme?
The cost of alternate costumes in almost all games are outrageous; I just spent $20 on Superman's variant in MultiVersus and that's it I can't afford to buy more. This needs to change in almost all games.
Never eaten eggs. never seen Ghostbusters. This dude isn't human. Excellent name tho.
This was dope! keep it up guys
Honestly, it's just nice being able to see everyone and hear everyone clearly again. Lol. Despite the typical occasional technical fuckups.
OOh that intro tho? Noice.
Sometimes I like watching at half speed so it looks like 5 drunk dudes talking about video games!
Love the new studio look but the white noise is a bit distracting
Excited for this one 😊
I now want a 7-eleven beverage 😅 All the other beverages are logo turned away.
I'm sure this will be a very unbiased review lol
i noticed that nick was right and Andy doesnt have the stuff for the corner seat
Mike crushed this Gamescast.
They need to work on the background noise droning in the background
Hi, I'm DeVante and I too am a Marvel Snap addict 📱
No mention of Elyse or James Williams being writers on Ghostbusters? Or Rahul Kohli being a VOA on it? Did those things not end up happening? Would’ve expected Greg to mention this at the top.
This is the only comment mentioning it too. Super weird.
I watched this when it came out and had no idea. I only found out because James mentions it in the Scream 6 review.
I am officially obsessed with Marvel Snap. I always wanted to play YuGiOh but its too complicated to learn by yourself. This will definitely scratch that itch.
It didn't take long for Greg to grieve Andy huh
Is this studio inside of a giant desktop PC? Lol there's definitely a 6th mic somewhere that's not set up right and not supposed to be on.
Tim im pretty sure if you complete the battlepass you can pay for the next one with your gold
What voice does Greg do?
Why did Greg flip the finger at Andy in the beggining?
holy shit, this new intro FUCKS
Ending on Marvel Snap kinda felt like an ad
Loving the show in the studio. My gripes are these impressions/reviews lately feeling somewhat lackluster or odd. I love the transparency from Greg but it is still odd to have him be the main reviewer when he’s in the game and is doing sponsored streams. Having Mike just play 3 hours during a sponsored stream for his impressions is a weird choice. I just think despite the transparency if a certain member is on a sponsored stream or is monetarily involved with the devs, then a review or serious impression should be delegated to a different team member that has no involvement. I know KF does not consider themselves serious reviewers but it’s a bit frustrating to be hearing a lot that the impressions come from sponsored streams and whatnot.
ADVICE-- When people on other ends of the table are talking to each other, a split screen of two close up shots of them for a moment is more intimate and visually interesting than going to the flat wide shot of everybody for too long, or a two shot where one person is looking off screen and talking and the other person is just sortve looking around listening because they know they're not going to add next to this topic.
With the Webcams, everyone felt like they were in your face talking to you, as a viewer there's a little more of a disconnect when it feels like you're in the other room looking in on people on a couch you're not also sitting on with them.
And then in moments where let's say Greg is going off while looking at Tim or Snowbike, the close up we see is Greg talking on the right side of the frame and Andy just looking off and listening and maybe fidgeting with the mic or something because he's listening but not used to the fact that he's half the screen right now. But that entire side of the frame could be a shot of who Greg is looking at it and speaking directly to looking at him and taking in what he's saying, which is more engaging visually. Because if you're not looking at the person that's being spoken to and can only see the person talking, sitting next to someone who clearly isn't being spoken to, it just gets very visually disconnected.
You guys have the shots, cause you'll do close ups of either side of the table of two people, but the left side of one shot where the left person is talking and the right side of another shot where the right person is nodding and ready to interject should be together on screen.
For all the things that you gain being back in person, one thing that's being lost is that the viewer has had these people's faces right in their faces for years, the entire screen was only a tight close up on them.
That's an intimacy that's very much lost now where it no longer feels like you as the viewer are just another person in the Zoom call, so anything that can make them talking to each other more of the focus of the frame is what you want to aim for, with the wide shots being something you want to see often, to show the space, but in heat of conservation when someone's really speaking directly to someone it changes the vibe from being in on the conversation to feeling like you're just listening to someone speak at you while you wait for them to stop, and it psychologically sortve makes you listen to what's being said, sure, but your eyes and mind starts to wander away from the screen, which is a waste of the fact that this can be show that's watched as a show with the visual of this studio, as opposed to the video being just an add-on to the audio.
Or at least, this is how l'd do it based on how my brain works and how many other people's brains l think work that way.
Sounds a bit hollow/echoey like the marathon stream was
Holy $#!+ guys. The chemistry and flow is so much better than WFH. I’m so proud of you.
Re: The Intro: What’s the white haired Andy character, or the Blue jacket Tim character?
not sure about tim but white haired Andy is Soldier 76 from overwatch
Idk if I’ll ever get used to this studio after being for virtual for so long😭looks amazing guys
Tim looks 10 years younger
EGGS!
My uncle is one of the makers of ghostbusters, Thomas Enriquez. Didn’t have anything to do with 3rd(female) & 4th film…but slimer and marshmallow man was all his concepts…anyway he said it was like any other job…deadlines, upset people, can’t do this and can’t do that. He enjoyed it yet he said working in any industry like that it’s a headache. He’s 72, still writing stories, draws, and lives in Santa Monica. Couple people reached out to me to see if he would do a interview(movies that made us, etc), but he refused cause he said there isn’t much to say.
Ay, if SBM doesn't start his Calisto Protocol Review w/ "Good and Banging" I'm not buying it 34:36.
l feel like it must be difficult to go from 2 and a half years of being able to look ahead at the camera and see everyone you're talking to all at once to not having to look all around to see everybody.
There's so many moments where l feel like l can feel the double Dutch energy from them of not knowing where to look.. except for Greg who feels like he has no room in his head to even think about stuff like this
I can't listen to the podcasts anymore. I have to watch because I want to see the awesome studio as much as possible.
I’ve spent over $1000 in Marvel Snap over the beta. Someone stop me!
