    We have taken a look at the website you created and we are impressed - that’s beautiful work! The colour scheme is particularly striking and not only adds emphasis to the core message but also gives it a powerful sense of gravitas. In terms of your web design process how long have you been using that model? And have you ever deviated from the process? Or have you found that the process has evolved over time?

    • @disco.lemonade
      @disco.lemonade 4 года назад +21

      It has a lot of pages, but the site itself is too simple. The "branding" part may be as expensive as the site. It's not only "look the site, you like? yes? that'd be $10k please", there's a lot of process which means lots of time, and if your customer is serious about the project, they'll pay up. Not everyone has the time or need to make an ok looking Wix site. However, I dont think that's the real cost, maybe $7K, but he's smart. I'd quote myself higher in case other clients ask

    • @df23
      @df23 3 года назад +15

      Looks simple yes, can easily be replicated yes.
      But its the brains and ideas coming up with that brand look for their website. You could hire someone else who's new and they'd give you some cookie cutter site with much more features but it just won't give the same brand feel

    Who write the content? Do you write it? Do they bring a in a web copywriter? Do your design the sight and then the copywriter create content to fit the flow of the site or do the client bring the content to the session and you create a site that fits the content? This is the most difficult part for me because the designer is typically not the copywriter and getting both to come together is hard. I just need my site to be up and ready to go.

    When I visit the website, I saw when the background change, the content at the bottom left corner also change. I would to know how to achieve that, Bro Ran. This is my first question.
    Second question is why would you choose .life domain?
    Thind questions is when I search the website, I found it after wikipedia (exactly, in the second place). That kind of SEO is done within webflow?
    And also, I thought 10k process is not just making a website, right? What else should I serve?
    Thank you, Bro Ran.
    When I visit www.ransegall.com/, it shows " the site can't be reached".

    • @disco.lemonade
      @disco.lemonade 4 года назад +3

      Dude... first, it seems like a simple hover effect (try). Second, you gotta google simple stuff like that (name.com/domains/life). Third, yes it can be done using Webflow. Fourth, he literally said it in the first five seconds of the video that the website and the brand were $10k. His website works just fine. As bonus for you: This guy has too many clients and contacts (he's a made dude in the business) so he can profit making websites in Webflow, but if you aspire to be a developer (webflow is nothing but a fancier Wix), then stay away from sites like Webflow and start learning how to code so one day you're the person behind sites like Webflow :)

    I was always under the impression a web designer codes the website from scratch.

    • @disco.lemonade
      @disco.lemonade 4 года назад +2

      What? Web designers design websites. In most agencies, the designers are the first line of the 'assembly'; once the design's been green lighted by the customer, it goes to the front-end dev and then, if needed, to the back-end dev. Most web designers know about design, maybe some html/css code, but they aren't hardcore coders, their expertises are in the design department (photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, etc). This guy in particular, he says he knows how to code, but why would he take the time if he can do it in Webflow. Maybe he does, maybe he's a shitty programmer, but you can tell he's a designer more than anything. He charges for results, most customers dont care how you do it

    How exactly do you present and brainstorm from homeoffice? I usually brainstorm with the whole team from my client at one table, and its way better than talking on the phone. How do u manage this without losing the „face to face“ quality of brainstorming? 😊
